Anyone have recommendations on nice tennis backpacks specifically in terms of comfort, space, quality, and durability?

The adidas barricade backpack is a very solid one. Lots of room, holds 2 racquets, and has been on two trips. Wears well.

TW here was selling green/black Volkl large backpack's for 21 bucks or so, hold 3 rackets, bottom shoe pocket, easy 20 balls and couple of cans, and enough room for shirt's, shorts, and socks.

The best one I have ever seen was the backpack version of Tecnifibre's Stand Bag. Don't know if any are still available, though.

I second this. I use this for when I bike to the courts. Doesn't hold as much as my Head six pack, but plenty of room for a backpack. It also doubles as my hiking backpack and is very durable.

Just picked this up and can confirm that it's awesome. Aside from the fact that it's not plastered with gaudy logos like other backpacks, the biggest plus is that the zippers in the racket compartment don't unzip easily. I'm not exactly sure how the locking mechanism works, but the zippers won't unzip on their own. I cannot believe other manufacturers overlooked this, but they did.

The bag also has some excellent and well-placed pockets. Very versatile. Only thing is I wish it had a handle at the top. But, other than that, it's a perfect 10.
