Used the Racquet/String finder in the Gear section of Tennis.com in the past. Noticed with the re-design of the Gear section, the USRSA tables are gone. Any way to retrieve that info without a membership? Curious about the ratings of Wilson Hollowcore string and some of the new Head racquets.

Thanks a mint. Tried Hollowcore 16 on the 23rd, not as pliable as most multis stringing. Not as stiff as PSG. Bottom line is my elbow, feels great.

Problem lies in the HC's rate of tension loss, which is pretty high. What loss rate is viewed as acceptable can vary with the player, partly due to the effect of his/her play style on it, and so you might want to validate your own HC tension loss rate.

You could eventually like this one instead, at the same price range:

    Tecnifibre Xr3 16 Nylon / Polyurethane 1.31 183 9.92
    Tecnifibre Xr3 17 Nylon / Polyurethane 1.26 177 10.60

    Playtest here: http://www.racquetsportsindustry.com/articles/2008/05/tecnifibre_xr3.html

And Tecnifibre's Multifeel for a firmness comparable to HC's, (since its softness comes from its wraps, and not its solid core) and a slightly lower price too:

    Tecnifibre Multifeel 16 Nylon / Polyurethane 1.30 189 9.81
    Tecnifibre Multifeel 17 Nylon / Polyurethane 1.27 193 9.92
