How do I know that it's tennis elbow and what should I do to fix it?

Try a Search. There should be numerous threads on TE in this forum. Try the Sticky by Marius at the very top of this forum. Icing or ice massage several times a day should help. Note that TE would be felt just below the elbow joint on the lateral (outside) part of the forearm.

    Ice Compression Tennis Elbow Wrap

Icing tennis elbow is only a partial solution. Rest and compression are also indicated.

Apply a re-usable ice compression wrap to the elbow 3 times a day for 20 minutes to stop the pain and inflammation.

Once the complete range of motion has been returned without pain, do gradual strengthening exercises to return the strength to the pre injury level ( or higher).

Seriously consider what caused the TE in the first place and avoid a repeat.

    Good Luck
