Glad you mentioned "off the beaten path" cause JC Ferrero's really is. if you're looking for more than just tennis traveling all that way.

Elite has a nice program but again staying outside of Barcelona can be tricky without transportation. I will say Enrique is nice coach.

Mallorca and Barcelona have excellent spots. Barcelona being the epicenter of tennis in Spain with Valencia a strong 2nd. Mallorca has a killer program (intense) on a magical island. And for winter tennis, Canary Islands is always ready with vitamin D, tennis and a dip in the ocean afterwards.

    Enjoy the winter months!

I do not recall seeing a tennis club in Tossa De Mar, but I am sure there are some tucked away there, but just up the coast a few miles in S'Agaro there is a cool little club across the road from the Hostel de la Gavina, four clay courts very close the beach.

I would not recommend JC Ferrero. The site itself is great but the location is hard to find and out in the middle of nowhere. Don't let you kids stay on site as the bunk houses for the holiday camps are nothing more than 12feet by 8 feet 2 berth sheds. The coaching on court is good but the supervision of the kids is downtime is awful , in fact its neglectful. Also their front of house receptionist could do with retraining as her manner is rude to say the least.

So far I am impressed with this academy. Very professional and all staff and players are without attitude. I am 4.5 and am learning some
    Great things
