Thinking of visiting the OC starting July 4th.

Anybody around OC near the beach from Irvine up to Long Beach?

I'm a TW Forum NTRP 1.0 but looiking for some social hitting. Just some rallying and drills. If you want to play, you can serve all the games.

At that level you might be better off hitting against a wall or taking a lesson at one of the local clubs. It would be pretty boring for anyone who is a decent player to play against you. Not trying to make fun of you just offering a suggestion.

I think the OP was just be sarcastic; please note that he said "TW Forum NTRP 1.0".

We all know that in TW Forum, "my club's grandma can beat this 4.0 guy" ... etc

So, nobody here is willing to risk "wasting their time" hitting with me?

I wish I could lay claim to a higher NTRP but I'm not allowed to on account of the TW NTRP rating patrol.

Plans are finalized and I'll be in south OC July 4th - 7th.

    I've unbanned once again.

Still 1.0 TW NTRP rated though but looking for somebody to hit.

I'm flying in on July 4th to LAX in the morning but I don't think I can catch the HB July 4th parade. However, anybody nearby who is brave enough to risk "wasting" their time on a 1.0?

Be there 4th thru 7th. Don't mind going down to SD and hit at Balboa.

If it makes you feel more comfortable, that's a So. Cal 1.0, I grew in So Cal but now reside in the L"East Coast".

Hopefully I can arrange something with Mad Dog.

Anybody else lives in HB, I can maybe sneak out early morning on the July 6th. Can't travel too far, have car but limited time.

If you are afraid I would suck, can you recommend where would be a good place to find a pick up game? Of course, one look at me, and people would correctly assume I suck at any sports.

Great! I'm an alum at UCI so I ddin't hit at Heritage often. Great courts back in the day, I assume that they are still nice.

Do they have the reservation system where you hang your racket? Tells you how far back I go.

Unfortunately, my PhD has not been recognized by members of the self-annointed TW rating council hence I can no longer claim to have a Doctorate.

For my degree to be valid, I have to make hundred of posts self-absorblingly documenting how I have spent untold amount of blood, sweat, and tears to have that USTA computer rate me.

I have resigned my academic post and now work at night cleaning office cubicles. I should have hang out in the adult league and tennis tip section and I could have been a contenda.
