Hello, I just moved here to Palm Springs. Is there a good tennis club I can join? And does anyone want to hit? Preferably in the evening because it is HOT here.

The place most people use if your not in the country club bit is the tennis plaza. Also most people play in the morning and not evenings.

I believe it is the Plaza Tennis Club one person mentioned. I hit there once, it was a friendly place and seemed to have quite a few good players as members. I'd recommend checking it out. If I lived there i'd find a way to join Mission Hills. It has 3 surfaces - grass, clay and hard. Best grass courts I've ever hit on. That's amazing when you think about it, 3 surfaces in the desert.

I visit once a year to play a grass court tournament at Mission Hills. I love that place. And your right it is neat to be able to play on all the different surfaces. They actually have "grand slam" tournaments there where you play on all the surfaces.
Man I can't wait till April to visit there again.

But once again as I stated earlier I have a lot to friends who use the tennis plaza. They all seem to love it. So I would start there.
