In Johburg, try Wanderers or Randburg...I don't have any detailed knowledge, but Wanderers seems quite well located with good facilities.

No, I don't live in South Africa...I did once upon a time, but didn't really play tennis at that stage, so can;t be much help regarding clubs.

I know Clarens, though, nice place, chilled, pretty far off the main tourist routes. I doubt you'll get any tennis there...go hiking in Golden Gate National Park instead

So, how was your trip? I take it it was good, judging from your new icon and location info.
    Did you play any tennis?

i've finally found the post you were talking about, yeah, it was an awesome trip, got some great pictures and met some great people. Went to 3 different countries, Lesotho and Swaziland as well as SA. The weather there in the winter is better than the weather here in summer, but its down to -4 at night and everything:-D , but all and all, great trip and i want to go back. I played tennis 2 times.

Excellent....yeah, winter weather in SA is generally fantastic, apart from the Cape.
