There's a tennis pro who is offering 1 on 1 tennis for $50/hr.

For me and a friend to be taught at the same time for a 2 hour session would cost $70/hr (so $140 total for both of us).

Wouldn't I probably get more out of a 1-on-1 1 hour session than a 1-on-2 2 hour session? On top of that me and my friend would end up paying less total ($100).

If I were you, I would just take the 1 on 1 tennis lesson, and ask your coach if he could do a 2 hour session.

But, 1 on 2 sessions are also sometimes beneficial because sometimes your coach may give some vital tip to your partner because of his problem, mishit, whatever and you're there to overhear it.

there's benefits to both, but private would be best. with two of you, he'll most likely have you playing each other at some point. also, two hours is a long time. you, your friend, or even the coach may lose focus and/or get tired.

That is such an individual case, it's impossible to give you an answer with the information you have provided.

unless you plan on getting only 1 lesson, I would try both and see for yourself which was better for you...
