There's a good chance I'll be spending a lot of time in Santa Clara over the next few months ... so can someone give me the low down on the tennis @ Mission College in the evenings?

Jay, I need your ph# and email again, I can't find it in my old phone.

The people who usually play there are really consistent. The old people play pusher style, but will generally beat most all power high kids and the likes.

Overall, some of the best condition and lit courts in the SJ/SC area.

The college currently uses the courts on Wed nights from 7pm til 9:30 or so and on Sat from 8am til 2pm. On Mon, the courts are available after 5:10pm. Eagle-Fustar uses some of the courts on Fri afternoon til 7:30pm.

If you're looking for higher level tennis, you might try the Santa Clara Golf and Tennis Club, just up the street (Great America Parkway) behind the Hotel/Conv ctr (I think its Tasman). They always have very strong and deep 4.0/4.5 usta teams.
