Hi, i am pretty new to the whole tennis recruiting network deal, but i was looking around at some players in my grade (10th) and they have interest levels on colleges and i did not think coaches could contact you if you when you are in 10th grade so i was wondering how that is possible? i am sure this is a really stupid question but thank you for the help:)

Well, if you are really interested in a certain school, you could go ahead and put it up early just to show you are interested. Coaches can also view your profile as the coach of the college to show that they have interest in gaining you as a player. True recruiting doesn't really happen until later.

What he said ^^^. Yes, if there are schools you know you are interested in it is good to list them in your profile. The coaches see this and they can start tracking you too. They cannot call/contact you until after July 1st of your junior year, but there is a lot of communication that can occur before that, as long as you instigate it. For example, you can email them, they can send letters, you can even call them. But if they don't answer, they cannot call you back (that would be them starting the conversation which is what is against the rules). NCAA puts out a great little guide online about the do's and don'ts of communication, give it a google. And no question is a stupid question!
