No because Angie, the ex Romanian WTA pro has an accent and she runs the place. So you are good to go :)

Cool! Thanks! An accent didn't hurt Terminator's career for sure ;)

You definitely get better treatment at a club if you are a member.

UCF men's team has a match tomorrow at 2. We won't be able to use the court until at least 5.

Different styles do not bother me. If I cant beat them - then they are simply better than me. Certainly some styles match up better and some guys I simply dread playing cause they make me work so hard.

Now that I think about it - I'm not going to play anybody that hits high and wide serves to my backhand. LOL:) - is that like laughing twice

Actually - I just wish I could play.

And Mikeler is no means a pusher or moonballer. Like he said, he has many different shots in his game.

I dont usually get over on that side of town, but I have an inspection right next to UCF. I think I'm going to plan on watching some of the match. If I wasnt hurt, I would hit with you guys.

  15. I will be at Blanchard around 2:30 pm if someone will be there to hit with me or play.

Ssgator, I want to be your first match back from recovery. It may be my only shot at ever beating you in straight sets. :)

The only foreign accent that is well liked over here is the British accent! U.S. chicks go crazy over guys with British accents! :)

Found out why Azalea was saying they could be busy.they were tonight..slammed with collegiate tennis players from Seton Hall and other small schools. Basically they were on spring break and if they play some tennis tournies during it they get their travels funded.

It was fun to watch...some decent players..one of the girls was really good..typical western forehand that the girls love to use, but her strokes were real nice..she was framing a lot though and making mistakes..but still a great player. They serve so soft compared to guys though...its crazy.

  33. BobFl If you want to start earlier thats fine with me. I plan to stay a while playing so let us know. Thanks Miguel

I hit with a girl who lives in my neighborhood that plays #3 for the huge local high school down the road. My heavy topspin gave her no problems on either side. If I hit a slice backhand to her, it was like she had never seen it before. I think they emphasis topspin too much at the junior level especially for the girls.

Yeah, i hate the female forehand..it looks nice, but seems so easy to attack..it is just too spinny.

Dgoran, are the dirty rumors true..you really only get 2-4 hours out of the Typhoon?

    It's freaking perfect outside.

I love the typhoon..if my game is off or the string has lost playability after 4 hours, then I don't notice it at all, as I am on hour 6. Damn, I am hoping this is not true for me as well..having to change a string after 2 days of tennis is no good.

Just have a kid. Your strings will last longer because you can't play as much. :)

    Have fun.

I walked down to the lake(about 1 mile round trip), this morning with my wife. Calf felt good. Getting close. I'm thinking about hitting some serves tomorrow morning.

I also stopped and watched the UCF tennis match yesterday afternoon. I think UCF got whipped.

    Wow wow wow :) [IMG]

...lets put this in the context and some perspective. If typhoon lasts 2-4 hrs of serving and ball bashing rest of the polys would last than 30 min.

Its very player dependent. What might last me 2 hrs might take Mikeler 50hrs with his style, :)

You mean heavy topspin over your head? :)

Just strung up some Yonex Super Tour 850. Will try it out tomorrow.

Got to hit with VS Tonic, another natty gut and Dunlop Silk in the PSTGT. The unnamed natty gut was best. The others were Meh. The Tonic was too tight.

I think I may have caused your #1 doubles player an injury today.

Ha ha topspin or moonball :)

Btw 850 is a good string I tried it only as a hybrid with poly crosses
