You were hitting well over the weekend with the prestige. Glad you see the light :). I love my prestiges but I wouldn't mind some of that dunlop sharkskin over the throat ... I love how that feels.

YT Prestige Mid, fantastic racket although it was a bit too demanding for me. This racket should come with M. Safin to boot to help me out there on the court.

  3. Anyone avail to hit tomorrow (Tuesday) Let me know.

Got crushed last night by a serve and volleyer that just started playing with the PSTGTs 2 days ago. It made a huge difference on his serve and his volleys were just finding the corners over and over. I could not hit a passing shot to save my life probably because of all the pressure I was under. I just kept hitting right back to him and watching the ball go by me after he volleyed it.

Sounds like he played well. I think he wants to make a good showing in the tournament.

If he plays like that, look out. A lot of his shots were hitting the lines, just too good for me last night even with my first serve back to normal. I just need to get my 2nd serve back. Play the lefty Gator on Saturday, I'll just hit first serves on 2nd serves. I'd rather double fault than have him tee off on my 2nd serve all day.

Too demanding for you? No way!! haha, I don't know why it has so far not felt that way to me. I am pretty honest with myself about that stuff since I don't like playing bad tennis. To me, the Volkl you got would seem to be more demanding with the higher SW.

But yeah, I have seen the light. I loved the prestige pro's feel, but did not like the trajectory of the ball as much. The Mid's balance and feel is addictive. Can't go wrong with the pstgt or prestige. Both are top notch.

Have not looked at the specs on the Prestige but if I remember correctly they are pretty close to the PSTGT right?

Yeah, all the racquets i have used in the past year are close in spec..pstgt has a bigger head and higher SW. Prestige weighs about 6 grams more in static weight, but is more manueverable with the lower SW.

Yeah It felt heavy not that maneuverable Actually when I tried Bad_Call's Dunlop mid I was hoping that youtek Mid would feel that way. I tried with lead tape and everything but just could not get dialed in.

Interesting..opposite for me, but maybe it is because the pstgt is a little heavy when I swing so the drop to 10 points lighter SW makes it easy. Who knows...racquet choice is a total mystery sometimes..lol.

Agreed no rules on this one all personal and all what you are coming from what kind of strings are in it etc...

Interesting anecdote is that I hated YT Radical MP when I first demoed it and now is one of my fav. rackets after few mods to get to my specs that I noticed I am most comfortable with...

liked hitting with both the PSTGT and YT PMid. both felt like a racquet i could use. would like to have more time with the YTPM but for now still tinkering with the 4D100. :)

it looked to be holding up decent in the 4D100. however since getting the racquet back from the kid have modded (lead) it and restrung with different strings in the attempt to get more pop.

Bud select IS drinking water . . . but with 55 calories. Always thought beer would grow on me but never really liked it.

At 2.4% alchohol, you have to drink almost 4 beers just to match the 9% in my favorite DogFish Head 90 IPA.

Man, I was rooting for Ivo!! Great guy. Nadal is getting annoying. I couldn't believe he went with "Vamos! + fist pump" after Ivo's DF?!

I thought I heard last night they were as part of extended coverage by Tennis Channel.

Me and the wife went to Gainesville yesterday afternoon to watch the UF/USC match. UF lost 4-3 after winning the doubles point. USC's Steve Johnson is currently ranked #1 in college. USC is also 2 time defending champs. Johnson beat Alex Lacriox -6-2, 7-6. The Gator hopes for pulling out the match came down to this match.

I enjoy sitting up there and watching 6 matches in action at the same time. Your eyes bounce around from one match to the next.
