Probably prices will be different. is unthinkable to have a Nike Polo shirt that in a TW USA costs 65 USD and the EU TW cost 65 Euros, which would be more expensive than in Europe today, this being the ratio of 1:1. If we do the exchange at this time would be in approx. 42 euros, which would be well below, in relation to what is practiced in Europe, without speaking in taxes.
I think the TW EU, will not bring different prices to those charged in Europe, since many of the times, are the manufacturers that set the minimum price of the product.
The only good thing that the EU will bring TW, is a greater variety of products to choose, products that before were only available in the U.S., may now exist in the EU, and all this in one store, which means savings in the shipping costs, and the satisfaction of several customers from different EU countries.

This is exciting news, but I asume this will mean you won't be willing to ship to the UK from the US anymore?

I'd expect them to cater to UK since the majority of their business would probably be from their.

    TW,

Does this also mean we'll be able to buy racquets that are only available in Europe (and vice versa) - for example, the Dunlop Aerogel 100... or the Dunlop HM 100G, etc.?

Will we be able to order such a racquet directly from the site and have it delivered to the US without a bunch of hassle and exhorbitant postal fees?

Yes, I know TW will carry the AG100, soon... that was simply an example.

    Thanks.

Honestly the Euro is so strong that i dont see any interest to buy at TW Europe. USD is just too good for business.

Good news, another online shop for us here in Europe!!!! Especially for countries like mine (Greece) where tennis items are so expensive and buying from online shops in Europe is our only chance....

I'd love to have a crack at it. What skill sets can we bring from the forum to do business with TW? I'll start it off, I'm a chartered certified accountant with 4 years of board-level experience in a £40m manufacturing industry. Currently looking to go into general management.

We need sales, web design/IT, purchasing, logistics. Anything else?!

No but I did go for an interview there once, to be their Financial Controller and right-hand man to their Group Finance Director. Problem was I felt I had more ambition than their group FD so politely turned down a second interview.

How do you know the company, just by the products or do you know someone there?

Oh, well sometimes my brother who lives in norwich buys the crisps and when he found out they were based on Norwich he wanted a tour of the factory, I dont know why there probably isnt a lot to see there. The reason i was asking is because its the only big buisness I know from Norwich.

As far as ordering items from TW here in the US to ship to Europe, we will continue to offer the same service.

Too bad German is required. I would have had some good qualifications for one of those positions.

Would probably still be cheaper for us in the UK to buy from TW in USA if the prices are the same as other UK/European shops :/
