Tennis Warehouse is great.

Recently I purchased over $75.00 worth of strings from Tennis Warehouse, and along with it came free 2-Day shipping. Shortly after I placed my order, I received an email confirming my order. The email also contained a link which allowed me to track my order through UPS. It also suggested that if I had any questions or concerns that I should contact Tennis Warehouse via email or phone. After two business days I received my package like planned, with all the strings I had ordered.

I'd like to let everyone know that I am very satisfied with Tennis Warehouse and I am looking forward to purchasing more products from them. Thank you Tennis Warehouse!

By the way, Tennis Warehouse's prices for string are very cheap compared to my local shop. They sell Luxilon Big Banger ALU Power 16L string here for $23.00 compared to $14.50 from Tennis Warehouse. My local shop also sells Babolat Pro Hurricane Tour 16 strings for $30.00 compared to $11.95 from Tennis Warehouse.

Yes, TW has great prices and selection for strings but keep in mind that many local pro shops include the cost of the stringing labor in the prices they charge for the strings.

this is not the case in my neck of the woods. canada is so flippin' expensive. psgd is about $12 w/o labour! the cost of living in vancouver is likely to result in a move to the southern US, closer to the better half's home.

I think for CA people other websites are great..I know one website won't even charge shipping even if order is $10 or $1.99.. so there are other good vendors apart from TW..

but TW got great collection and great for others who don't have to pay CA tax

I know that, those are the prices for the string if you just want to buy them by themselves.
So then how much do they charge for labor?

For example, if you wanted Babolat Pro Hurricane installed in your racquet, what is the total cost for string plus labor?

BTW, are you in the U.S.? If so, whereabouts?

$15 for labour here. but i think that's roughly the norm in the US as well? it's just the cost of strings that are bad. but now i have my own stringer and a good supply of strings that i have purchased from TW :)

That's a violation of the TT policies ;)

I live in the PNW. The cost for labor is usually around $15.00.
So if you want Babolat Pro Hurricane Tour installed in your racquet then you have to fork out $45 total? That's a rip-off! You can get natural gut installed in your racquet for less than that at some places.
