Hit with a 3.5 tonight . Very nice guy. Demos came out. He was impressed most when I hit with my radicals. Said it was night and day how I swung.

I used to work at Costco and once somebody returned a pizza...by returned I mean brought back an empty pizza box and say they didn't really like the pizza. AND THEY GOT THEIR MONEY BACK.

    Dats,

I may join you in the "wrist assist" injured reserve.

Left wrist is hurting. All those 2 handers.. and an old "non-ac" injury.

Time to buy a nike wrist brace.

We would both be traded in fantasy tennis leagues.

Its a stinging pain. Maybe I can get an operation which coudl get me a nike like scar (ala Agassi).

Did you get your 89 yonex strung up. Say a 4.5 hit with them last night against a 4.0. He was hitting some smooth shots.

Good thing it's not the right wrist. You gave up alcohol and weren't very pleasant. I'd hate to see if you had to give up sex also...

I just had the dorito tacos. They were okay. It doesn't feel right eating taco bell food without being drunk.

Anyways.. the taco was okay. Chipolte for lunch would of been a win.

In case any of you were also wondering..."So how do you deal with having a convicted dog murder as a qb"...

Because I am a fan of the *team*. A team is more than one person. This is a team that I was raised watching, since my mother's cousin was a tight end for them during the 80s and the Ron Jaworski/Dick Vermeil era. Yes, I remember the failed Super Bowl attempt against the Raiders. My second cousin was there.

I was raised in an area that adored the Eagles (still does) and holds them to sometimes insane standards. Were many people disappointed and upset when Vick became an Eagles? Yes. Do we abandon the *team* because of that? Every person answers that for themselves.

Funny how people question Eagles fans, but not Virginia Tech fans...'cause he was racing the dogs while he was there too.

Lastly, name ONE team that DOESN'T have a criminal on it? Try it. We'll wait....*tick tock*, *tick tock*. Our defending Super Bowl champs? I think we've all heard of Ray Lewis, right?

Ironic that the message was sent to me by a COWBOYS fan. (and no, it wasn't Drakulie)

A quick google search of 'cowboys players with criminal records'...
    https://www.google.com/search?q=cow...ome..69i57j0.11317j0&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

Guess sexual assault, manslaughter, and ASSAULTING YOUR OWN MOTHER ain't that bad to some.

I found this statement interesting because recently (last 5 years or so), I've moved away from rooting for a team and started rooting for individual players. As a result, Sundays are much more enjoyable. I really don't care who wins or loses, just if the player I root for has a good game.

Is this because of fantasy sports? Might also reflect the sport of tennis where you're more concerned about a person than a team.

Honestly I have to find at least one or two people on the team that I find interesting or the game just gets boring. I've sat through some pretty bad soccer matches (Fulham, Everton, Sunderland, Hull City, etc.) just to watch some of the Americans play.

I've tried watching recent DC united games, but with no interesting players and a miserable record, I just can't make myself sit through a full match.

The one team I'll always root for is the US soccer team - that's probably my one exception.

    I'm in the same boat.

I started liking the chiefs becuase Okeye was a beast in super tecmo bowl. Neil Smith, Dan Saleamua, and Derrick Thomas made it easy to root for the team as a whole. The withTony Gonzalez later and the run with Montana.

But nowadays i dont care what team a guy plays for. I like Von Miller becasue he reminds me of Derrick Thomas.

I dont like Flacco, but liked Ed Reed. Hate Roethlisberger adn most steelers but always liked James Harrison and the bus.

Russell Wilson and Spliier are my boys now though.

It's been some time since we got a Topaz "soapbox" post.

    Like old times... sigh

My view on Vick. He did the time, he hasn't done it since.. guess what day it is?

    Oh wait.. that was yesterday.

Then again I wouldn't let him dog sit my dog... if I had one.

Speaking of Dogs.. how are the dogs JRK?.. never ever leave me alone with them again. Sweet dogs when you are there.. when you close the door.. they go nuts!

I think its more the latter, where I'm used to rooting for a single player. A good example of my dilemma is that I despise Brady, but like Welker. So for years I hoped that Welker has a good game, but that Brady threw a bunch of INTs & got sacked a lot.

Now that Welker is w/ Denver, its a lot easier to root for him...

As far as the Steelers, I find it hard to root for anyone on that team besides Polamalu & Miller, and I'm still a semi-fan. Those guys show up week in & week out and get the job done. No excessive celebration just because they did their job. Everyone else...eh.

I was starting to think Mclovin mentality was black and white..

    Then he said semi-fan..

Seinfeld: Look to the cookie [black and white cookie].

p.s. Mclovin, the yonex you owned is on its way. First modification will be putting on a leather grip. Then maybe cheering for Welker.. wait.. nevermind.

Once.. in the woods of endor... on a very very hot day.. I saw a battle I have yet to see matched.

Wookie vs Conejo. I couldn't cheer for one in praticular.

The amount of grunting and running was epic. The amount of yelps and screeches entertaining. The change over time long. The amount of sweat left on the court could of watered farm land for a day. In the end the conejo won. However, the wookie took revenge at Siloh. We all know what happened next.. YOTW.
