Hey Sup, I believe Reston may be having some tournaments on the 19th but I could be wrong. Make sure you check with RA. Otherwise between the tournament, RA pro's and everyone else it may be a little crowded.

Also, can you put me on the list as pending?

MrHan, you should know be better than that. I dont leap before I look. I checked with Rob before I even made the initial post. Hence the pricing. He had checked with Mary. I think the reston tournament you are talking about is at Lake Newport or any of the other hard courts available.

I'll put you down as a maybe! Awesome!

i'm not willing to take any pictures next to the grill if it's taller than i am or if i'm in a ditch next to the grill. i insist that the grills used for this meet are no taller than this:

    JRstriker is confirmed!

I would like to do some Jerk Chicken. I hope peeps like it hot!

I also have a charcoal grill - BUT - I can't get it to the picnic area unless someone has an pick-up truck. It's too big and dirty to fit into the Civic.

I also have frames for warming trays and a few warming pans. I may just grill up the chicken beforehand then stick it in the warmers while we are playing.

I'll be there, but I'm not sure if I'll ba able to bring Baby Bri - Dee's sister is going to watch her that morning in MD since I'm playing tennis and Dee will also be busy that morning.

Here is the address and directions to the courts (http://www.restontennis.org/Facilities.html):

    11550 Glade Dr
    Reston, VA 20191

I-495 to Rt 267 West (Dulles Toll Rd) to Reston Pkwy South, turn left onto Reston Pkwy, go 1.7 miles and turn left onto South Lakes Dr, go 1 mile and turn right onto Soapstone Dr. Go 1/2 mile and turn right onto Glade, courts are on your right.

Here's the mapquest map to the Glade Courts: http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.ad...=11550+Glade+Dr&city=Reston&state=va&zipcode=

I talked to the association. We are officially reserved for 4 courts 10-1pm. There will be a sign for us, so nobody can argue. They said we are okay with a bbq, since we are far enough away from a residential home.

Alcohol is probably no big deal, just don't go be doing TFM keg stands, with one hand on the nozzle and the other on a half eaten piece of chicken.

This is turning into a gourmet BBQ!

JRSTriker, I'm trying t find a truck for you to bring your grill. I have a new Mercedes ML 350 4matic out front. Dealer is trying to pursuade me to buy with a gracious "take it home, see if you like it", while the C is in the shop. Saying all this, no way i would put a bbq in there.

Does someone have one they can bring?

What about drinks and a cooler? Beer? Sake? Something.. *drool*

will there be a 24/7 guard of the alcohol?? maybe tfm can stand out front as a "you must be this tall to drink" type of measuring stick... oh and to hand out pink ribbon to the drinkers.

Yeah, the BBQ is something that your wouldn't want to put inside a Benz.

We may also want to try and organize the cooking.

It's a standard 22 inch weber with a attached table and gas lighting system: http://www.weber.com/bbq/pub/grill/2007/charcoal/performer.aspx

It will grill most things, but you can't do a bunch of burgers and a whole rack of ribs at the same time.

So how you liking the ML?

We'll figure something out. I'm sure TFM is handy in the trade of grilling with minimal space. I also figure, start cooking the things that take the longest first and the fastest later. 1pm -ish is good eating time.

ML is okay. I'm not *drooling* over it. Want to go check out the bmw 1 series.

Hmmm..... Read a review of the 1 series and wasn't too impressed. Sounded like you could get larger 3 series in the same price range.

hey i'm in.. the food menu broke my back.. who needs out of town friends when you have a heaping pile of food.. if it's bbq, i can do a BITA chicken, it's my bbq specialty.. pretty much shove a 1/2 empty beer can in a chicken's ass and let it sit.. thus beer in the ass, BITA, chicken.

Just a thought. Some one will need to bring plates, napkins, and plastic forks, spoons and knives. Also, are peeps kicking in a little for charcoal? I'll need to pick up a 20 lb bag of natural, hardwood, lump from BBQ Galore.

    Hey Shin,

Are you at yakota? Do the girls (local) still wait outside the gate to get on base for the weekend.

i always thought it funny how you could go to the gate find a cute girl with her weekend bag. Walk up to her and ask her if she had any friends as well (you know for your friends). then if her friends were not hot enough move down the fence row till you found one with friends that were acceptable.

just regular local girls that want to get on base and party for the weekend. Ive never been there but played softball with at least 10 guys that say that was the scenario.

Bases ligour seems to be way cheaper than local econmies over seas.

Yea but you can still go eat some food bro and enjoy yo self. I'm sure someone wil want to argue line calls and you can help them.

After all the winner will recieve a 5lb tub of JO. so the emotions will be running high for sure.
