zapvor sighting last week....
After playing have you tried wiping off the handle with a damp towel (no pun intended)? It tends to bring back the tack (no rhyme intended) for your next match. I like to get at least a couple matches out of a new overgrip!
Regarding Power Cord, how long do you leave it on your racquet before it goes dead and you have to cut it out? Thanks!
PS >>> I commented on your posts on some Golden Set threads.
YEP! Absolutely, coz that's a GOOD deal!
thanks i will probably get it tonight
i am disappointed in you downs. you are losing to 2.5 ladies now was that the new control you hit with?
haha...she will be a 5.0...and there was no losing! haha...just hitting a lot of balls with a new racquet...i don't know if i love that stick...it works? -ish?
Haha I know it was fun to watch.
you should get the 8+ for 59
I ended up making a reservation @ black salt
white salt is wayy better
Thx for the tip. Will try that.
Powercord gives me at least a good 6 hrs play before going to dead. Really comfy feeling and has good power too. Its not textured so it's not going to give much spin.
I can't get out of the cyclone 18g fix. Its like $2 a set on sale at tw on a wednesday sale.
The one at macarthur blvd? Then afrerwards mussels down the street? Or sushi down the street at kotobuki or the more formal place upstairs?
Has zap transcended to shoes now?
Ya I don't get that extremely cheap price... TW must prolly have tons of stock or sompin.
I can't believe you self rated at 4.0. If you focused only on singles then you could play 5.0 for many years.
some place I have an account with, but I think if I say here I'll get in trouble, so nope. The CC III is 59, and its a much better shoe
my first season of usta i was a totally different player...i never competed - just hit...i went 1-3 and the only guy i beat (and it was barely), just got bumped up from 3.5...haha, it was ugly...it took me about a year to figure out how to win...
i didnt like the fit of the cc3 =/
I just blasted flat and kick serves at everyone and ran around backhand at all times. Pretty much owned 3.5's. 4.0's took advantage.
Now that i have a more reliable BH my shoulder is toast and I cant serve. If I ever played USTA again they would probably force me to start back at 4.0. Dont enjoy doubles enough to play doubles and no team would put have me play singles.
So I pretty much just hit with people from time to time.
did you feel it ran large?
Its Adidas of course you didn't like the fit.
Somebody send me a pair of the new Diadora Speed Pros so I can compare to the original speed pros. Which were easliy the greatest shoe i've ever worn on a tennis court.
Gel Solution speeds are close and the Lotto Raptors were pretty good.
But Adidas shoes just don't work for me.
No on Adidas....
no it felt real narrow and tight
what? i love adidas. i havent tried the diadoras yet though. i did like the gel resolutions
New to this thread and live in Springfield. I have been on and off with my tennis since high school. Just got the tennis bug again and signed up for USTA for the first time. Thought I'd introduce myself and I'm a Nike guy when it comes to shoes.
Which solution speeds?
I really love the Asics Gel Solution Speed 2 Bk/Red/Yl 10.5
I wonder if they would fit tighter with a 10, as I need to wear 2 pairs of socks with the 10.5
welcome to tennis again.
are you a ringer 4.0 or 4.5? lol
if so i know a few teams that would love you, captained by the winning-est team in this area.
