Hmm...is that the speed of zapvor's serve or his walk?

First of all, you don't look terrible.

Secondly, even if they looked terrible, I would not take them down just because you told me. You isn't the boss of me. HA!

EDIT: seriously, man, I don't see how it looks ugly. It looks perfectly fine IMO.

Your parks are way better than in Long Beach. Sometimes we have to ask a homeless guy if we hit on his court because he had set up a tent inside.

Since you are begging to me instead of demanding it, I took them down.

The camera is just a cheap one that I bought a long time ago. It can take still pictures pretty OK, but it's not good for actions shots at all. Especially, when all the MAC members have such good racquet head-speed. ;)

thank you:) yea i look awful lol. my serve is so ugly! you were so right too. what am i doing the bend thing for? its probably slowing my serve down lol. i would never demand anything from you shcmad. you are a good guy. thanks for the split software and match too!

i dont know looking at the pictures like i can see how the body is all in focus and stuff but the arm or whatever is blurry from the motion. i wish i had a digital camera. haha yea most of MAC members have good racket head speed. where are the pics of you serving? i wanna compare

Well, first of all, as I said countless times, your serve doesn't look awful. A lot of top pros arch their back during their service motion. Especially, on their 2nd serves. Look at Davydenko as an example.

And, you're welcome about the Saf Fed AO match DVD. I hope you don't have trouble joining the 4 files. And, sorry that it's such a large file. hehe.

As talented as I am, I can't take pictures of myself serving while serving. haha. Seriously, I should have asked you to snap a couple pics of me serving, but I didn't coz I didn't wanna get embarassed by looking at my bad form. HAH!

I'm telling you buddy, put on the Wrist Assist, and your game will improve dramatically. (Brad Gilbert voice). haha ok that was totally random. Seriously, don't change your serve motion.

i really had no idea i was arching it so much. i didnt want to believe you when you told me. geez...i am going to hurt my back if i keep it up. pureprestige doesnt do the arch and hes clocking more than twice as fast as me lol.

the large file is fine because i have the discs, so i will always have the match even if i delete it off my computer ^_^

oh yea. even safin cant tape himself while hes serving. i dont know. i just wanted to see to compare. because i dont know how you do that twist spin thing. i am pretty sure my dad has a camera that we never use. i will have to bring it next time. lol yea where did Brad G come from? thanks for the pics now i can start to see what i need to do to fix it.

PurePrestige is 6' 3", so he can do whatever he wants and gets away with it. Plus, he never arches his back as much as us when he serves. Different people have different ways.

In the next MAC meet, either Sup2DresQ or I will try to film your serve. My camera can hold about 3 minutes of footage if its memory is empty. But, by lookin at the pictures, I don't see much wrong with your service motion.

I was quoting Brad Gilbert cuz I'm so sick of seeing the Wrist Assist commercial on TV. I wonder if that thing really works. If it does work, you and I should buy some. haha.

i need to ask pureprestige for some tips. you should ask him instead of me i think.heh.

i think my motion is all messed up. like in the pics you see my tossing arm is way off to the side (not pointing up) and my racket arm is like all i dont even know, compared to pureprestige he has that trophy position all perfect. i definitely need to fix my motion. maybe sup2 will give me some tips. he helped me with my forehand and backhand today! i havent even thanked him here. thanks sup2dresq!

wrist assist...hmm i dont know too much about it. whats it do?

If you have a question for PurePrestige, you ask him. I'm so sick of him!

Anyways, I think Soup is a great guy who's willing to help anybody. He's very good at giving technical tips and can analyze people's games very well.

The Wrist Assist basically makes your wrist stay fixed and close to the racquet, so that your strokes become as compact as possible. I have no idea if that junx works. But, according to Brad, it's the "best 69 bucks you'll ever spend" haha.

Ok, I'm out bro. Good night.

Well most stuff here are pretty much "watered down". You really gotta have some good connection to get the good stuff. I can't believe it I bought 2 bags from a guy named Miguel and I won't even feel a jolt errrrrrr I mean yeah we don't have that much tennis players here.

    Thanks, soup.

You shouldn't be bummed out coz you hit very well given the circumstances. I was worried that you might be overplaying a little and worsening the condition. Especially when you tried to ace the little guy time after time. :D

PurePrestige is using a Liquidmetal Prestige Mid here.
Of course I am using a KFactor 90 now because its more a tweener compared to the mid, but the mid was fun to try a few serves with.

    Pulled a Serena? LOL :D

That 120 was pretty impressive. I am not sure if I ever faced a serve that big- probably could not even get a racquet on it unless it was hit right at me.

KFactor is definitely a more powerful racquet, tho mine was feeling kinda off that day and too springy to really pound serves in. Kfactor really shows its power in groundstrokes, not so much serves. Though it has a smaller grip size which might have something to do with me hitting bombs, as well as the lower tension.

The prestige is king for slapping big flat serves, ala Scud. I had 6g of lead at 3&9 and 3g at 12 on it. It was definitely faster for the serves because its the one that clocked 120mph when Soup was on the far side of the court. Its got uhh Pro Hurricane Tour/ Gamma Asterisk at 60/58. So a decent setup for serving.

So Prestige is better for serving raw power. Though, I only served with my arm, if I actually had a service motion with some legs I wonder what i could serve up to.

I remember hitting at Cal State-Long Beach awhile ago. Those weren't too bad as I recall.

The mid atlantic courts in the pics look like they have been resurfaced not that long ago- probably less than a year? The only thing I don't like is the courts do not have dividers in between and there is not enough room in between courts. They could easily use another 5 feet.

I feel like the content of yesterday wasn't enough. Besides, there were no action shots of Sup2Dresq or me unfortunately. So, here's a small something to add to yesterday's update.

Here's a short video of me looking tired and pissed off. Well, after yesterday's 6-hour meeting, who wouldn't feel the consequences today? Watching this will make you feel a lot better about your game, zapvor. ;)

About 3 years ago. We went to CSULB because it was basically a couple minute drive from a friend's house. Yeah they were just decent courts but at least we didn't have to ask any hobos to leave! :)

Is it me or did you just speak of yourself in third person? Ala Jimmy from that Seinfeld episode. LOL.

You hit well with the K90's. Send me an email Sup2dresq@aim.com and we can talk about my sets of K90's and bag.

Zapvor - go for the TW 6 pack bag. It goes for about $20. That's what I store my two PDR's and my one junky back-up racket in, plus I have plenty of space for all the other junk I throw into my tennis bag.
