The VW won't make it. I am going to take it to the shop tonight and honestly, its COLD outside for me. When the sun drops and it hits 55, I'll be frozen.

On the car note. I already have the benz and a toy that never sees the light of day. I may sell it all and get a honda fit and put a hitch on it.. and drive it crazy around town.. oh wait.. thats not original.. sorry Sap..

I wish there was a car out there I loved.

I kind of dig those smart cars. Maybe I can get that exhaust system that spits out flames!

Oh, btw hows the scout project coming along. Since this afternoon I've been web searching for Bronco restoration companies. Some do an excellent job.. but trying to justify such a car in this area.

Ford Bronco is still my favorite car.. i dont know why.

It may be my fault. Remember how i posted that the only two funds i had that were doing decent were the Latin Fun and Asia Fund.

Apparently the wookie has a good grasp of the globe.. though my Latin fund is still holding *awaits wookie revenge*.

I cant take this drop in buying power. Just awful. But I'm glad the feds aren't bailing out the market.

Can't blame to wookie. I think the house Repubs dissing the bailout bill had a lot to do with it.

I'm betting a bailout is still coming.

    Super-Car suggestion: Mini-clubman?

Sup - I sent you the pics of my sticks (awaits TFM/Sappy joke). The deal is still on... anything over 80% of the original value you keep.

So... let's say anything over $340 (for both rackets) you pocket. :)

Thanks to Hollywood, TFM, and JRK for hitting tonight. It's a shame, that the only shots that work on those courts (because of the lighting) are drop shots/ drop volleys. Sorry to pull your levels down.

Everytime I think I will have some some time to start running and termintaing wires. I have no time. Now Im asking around if anybody knows anybody who can rewire the whole thing. At this point Ill just drop some cash and have it done. Afetr it is wired up it should run fine. Ill give it a tune up. Then Probably replace the top and get a black one. The final touch would be to get it painted. Im leaninig towards desert Camo. But might go towards the new Air Force BDU pattern.

Lets see if Myspace pics link.

Just got home and was waiting for me.

A new Tflash 315, Tfight 320 and 325XL for me to demo. The PJs are freakin sweet on those things. Got an RDS 002 Tour as well. but dont really care about it.

If anyone wants to get a few whacks. just let me know. But it cant be tommorrow or wednesday. thursday it would have to be before the Sup deally at Skyline, or after the Sup Deally.

    Thats the options.

I am waiting on some demoes. JRK had a the light version of the fischers as well as some head-not-so-good frames last night. Light Fischers are not too bad, they are just (broken record, right TFM?) light.

10:30 am @ Quincy is mucho perfecto. I don't own a video camera, and have not programmed that function into my iPhone, so maybe you are just going to have to take pictures in your mind.

Vienna is close to me. What time works for you? Afternoon probably works best for me.

Bowling v. Tennis. I know who is winning that matchup para mi. Have fun on Friday:)

Tennis would normally trump bowling, but when its less tan 60 degrees out? Thats too cold for me bro. plus Harford county isnt filled with a plethora of tennis players. Most of them are stuck up rich kids anyway:)

Are you obliquely referring to the cash payment I made to Sup, courtside, Davydenko-style, during a break in the Simon Cup tournament this past weekend?

That was exclusively for stringing labor. :)

Vitaly - I've got the light versions of the Fischer M-Pro One 98 and the Magnetic Tour... you may likey since you switched to the light Yonex.

I'm off Thursday and Friday if anyone wants to hit grandpa-strokes tennis with me.

it's not going to be less than 60 degrees out... If you believe it, it just may happen- like breaking JRK's serve to send it to a tie-break after he had been serving us off the court all set long. Now I am believing that I will find a bunch of Donnay originals somewhere...

really nice hitting session last night with hollywood, JRK and auzzie. JRprostaf had to bail last night but i hear it may have been family emergency. hope everything is alright JRprostaf.

2 things that may only amuse me:

1 - last night me and JRK are playing doubles against auzzie and the hollywood (auzziewood? hollyzzie?). auzzie hits an approach shot to the JRK and JRK pulls a brilliant lob over auzzie's head. auzzie backs up for the overhead and whiffs and before he even lands on the ground he's scrambling backwards and tries to hit a backhand - whiff again. in the meantime hollywood has already scrambled over to cover the lob and tries to hit a forehand a split second after auzzie's backhand - and he whiffs, too. so 3 swings - 3 strikes. and the sad part was JRk and i were convinced auzzie could've swung one more time. that's gotta set some kinda record.

2 - JRK in his typical box o'chocolates serving mode (you never know what you're gonna get) in that same set of doubles has managed to double fault 3 times in a row so we're down 0-40. i make a snarky comment after his double fault, "you know that second serve bomb ain't exactly a high percentage play." he's like, "yeah but i can usually pull it out with a couple of good serves." JRK then proceeds to hit 3 first serve service winners, another double fault and then an ace and another first serve bomb service winner. nice hold JRK. :)

I've been said to be a miracle worker, but that may be more than I could fetch.

You did your math wrong .. tisk tisk.. that would be $320.00 and still a bit to high. With no Natural gut in the string its a bit tough to rationalize anything higher.

I'll see what i can do with the new price.

I never swung at the ball. After the whiff i gettin ready to but then he ran back and took another swipe, i pulled back as to not hit auzzie. he had a look of determination on his face and I didnt want to get in his way.

Although I truly belive that if i wasnt there he would have taken a third swipe at the ball and probably would have hit a lob winner :)

And JRKs serving is like a pitcher who throws alot of balls, walks a few guys, maybe throws a couple wild pitches. But becasue of this hitters never know what to expect and thats when the dude slips a fastball by ya. It also helps return when you can see the ball before it hits the court. I didnt remeber visibility being that bad when I met Auzzie and Egunies there before.

^^ we started in the afternoon last time, but that first court has a dark corner , and the rest of the lights are too low- right in eyeline- esp. for overheads:)
