Sweet Ill see you dudes at 1130 on saturday. I can also swing by the bird in the morning if anyone needs some last second equips they dont have.

Auzzie I can bring the new challengers to you. 95 bucks + 6%tax.

Im waiting for the Diadoras and the new Nikes to come out to see what I like. If the doras look a bit more durable on the sole then it will be a no brainer for me. Plus that red will match my RLX Stuff :)

I'm sure we are. Sup would especially love to have a Peroni after the Santa Bowl. It might remind him of homeland.

Merry Christmas to you, Mr.Asian Safin!

No worries. I've already sent someone out to your place to burn your Adidas stuff. It's my profession :)

Yeah, your FH definitely looks more compact than before. I think I like the new one better, but you are still hitting way too hard, IMO. I am pretty sure you've realized it by now since you played in the league this summer....no one hits the ball as hard as you do at your level. I've gotten to know some of top 15 open players in Thailand, they don't even crush the ball like that. Remember...tennis is supposed to be elegant...gentle...all about touch!

Who's hitting the ball on the other side in the new video? Who hit the ball right straight to the back wall? The guy needs to quit.

    Find yourself better partners, dude.

and yeah..I've been asking Sup to come over here so many times. You all should come. Tennis is great here. 10 times easier to find good players in here than US. My club is almost like a tennis academy. I just met Paradorn yesterday there as well. I am still waiting!

I saw the picture you took with Paradorn. Nice picture! Were you on your toes when you took it? Because you don't look that short compared to his 6' 2" frame. By the way, next time take a picture with his wife. Oh, the things I would do to her...

I think the camera is playing tricks on you. It makes everyone look like they're hitting the crap out of the ball, but it's not true. I try to build points and go for consistency these days. :) But, it's not working very well.

Anyway, I can't stop laughing after reading the bold caption above. Can you guess who's on the other end of the video? You guessed it right. That's PP. HAHAHA.

^omg yea....where do i begin. that guy we hit with is just....i mean he didn't get a single ball in for over the 4 hours we were hitting for. shanks everywhere. he shows up in a bandana and gets out his k90 like he's federer on steroids or something and just...i think we tried filming him but when the lens opened the camera said'that's just too ugly i can't' so we didn't film him

I am 5' 10". Only 4 inches...so it's about right in the picture I think. The guy was tall and got a big chest!! Yeah, I didn't have much time to talk with him because he had to go, but next time...I will ask him how to get your hands on Miss Universe.

I knew it was PP. I was just joking!

Oh sure you knew it was PP. Buwahaha.

Tell Paradorn I'll teach him how to hit a backhand if he gives me 10 minutes (not even that) with Miss Universe 2005.

Very funnah, the ball that hit the back tarp was an air ball going out from shcmad or zap, I don't remember which. I just whaled on the fly ball to get it back since the camera was rolling.

Also Shc's and Zap's let's not go into what my k90 did to you guys in the tiebreakers.

Actually...the ball wasn't going out. It was mishit slightly but definitely not going out.

Also, PP... Let's not talk about what happened the last two times we played tiebreaks in Burrows and outdoor courts.

    You kids...."Chill out!"

I actually want you guys to remain that (more than 50% of balls going long) way...otherwise, it's not "YOU".

Please, don't get better! That's my wish for Santa.

Do you live in Columbia? The CA facilities screw you if you aren't a resident in the area or a member. I'm a resident there but I still pay $75/month just to have full access to all the facilities there.

Also, where are you guys playing on Saturday?

There are no indoor tennis walls in Columbia. Although one of their clubs has racquetball courts that I used as a hitting wall.

Is the skyline club in VA? I won't be available saturday anyways, but I was curious.

Columbia Association finds ways to take your money in whatever way they can. Don't waste your time with them. That's my advice.

No good tennis walls as far as I know in Howard County. I used to drive down to Glen Burnie just to hit with the wall. There are also some decent players around 3.5-4.5. You can just take route 100 all the way, then get off at route 176.

good fun PPL. there were no beatdowns. unless you count how i won't be able to get my fat lazy azz out of bed tomorro morning for the santa bowl.

PPL is a good new addition to the crew. while he's a bit shorter than the average bear he's also faster than i am unless i'm trying to push my way ahead to the buffet. hits a nice sharp angled forehand and a pretty reliable backhand. definitely worth the trip to howard county for warm up for tomorrow.

    see you all tomorrow!

oh raiden -- we never got to hit but hoco isn't too big of a drive for me. let's hit sometime.

CA outdoor courts do, but they are locked in the winter.

Vantage Point Rd. in Columbia off Little Patuxent has a little park with a hitting wall. It is small and kinda sucks though.

Fairland Park straight down Rt. 29 has a hitting wall, I believe.

Definitely. I will finally be available to play on some weekends (weeknights are difficult to find available courts). What time of day is your preference, and I'll try to get something scheduled.

Hey Raiden, nice to see you dropping by here finally! Hopefully you can get down to a meet sometime! Don't let TFM scare you off!!!

Got to hit for two hours today in a friend's 'tennis party' that I had kind of forgotten about, but remembered at the last moment! And, I have one thing to say...

    I LOVE MY RACQUET!!!

    :)

Played four sets of doubles...won 3, lost 1, but this was far from serious tennis, but still, felt good to knock the dust off a bit and get ready for tomorrow! Rowr! I think I did something really bad though...you aren't actually allowed to reach over the net to hit the ball, are you??? It was one of those slow, floaty balls...I was at net...and I whacked it for a winner, but I did reach over the net, breaking the plane. We all just kind of laughed about it, since it was social tennis, but I want to be sure of the rule come USTA time.

We also got yelled at for talking too loud after the matches by a 'tennis mom'. Seriously, I'm not kidding you. Evidently her precious child was preparing for a very important tournament tomorrow! I guess they will be playing in complete silence? So, I just made sure I whispered really, really loudly after that! :)

*sending good vibes to McLovin* Hope we get a match report!!!

See some of you guys tomorrow! Eye of the tiger!!

Something about a thread with over 16,000 posts turns me off a little. It just seems like it would be difficult to track all the posts. I'd like to make an appearance at one of the MAC events, so I'll be keeping my eyes open for when something comes up when I'm available.

What racquet do you play with that you love so much? Is this new or something you've had for a while?

Heh, heh...awww, don't let that scare you away! I'll try 'alert' you to meet-ups as well when we have them coming up.

I just switched to the Wilson kTour. I had demoed quite a few, and really liked the older nTour (as well as the nTour Two), except it felt 'bulky' on serve. Demoed the kTour, and the slight difference in weight distribution seems to have made a difference. For me, it is just a very comfortable racquet from every part of the court. The 'control' part of the racquet is also a very welcome factor! Every time I hit with it, I like it more and more.

    Here she is!

ehhh, Microgel Extreme Pro. Was hoping to like that one as well... No dice.

    McLovin, Whats the report?!?

I myself have a bit of a conundrum: Do I get the MComp knowing I play well with it, or do I take a chance on that Seles frame I have been oggling for a while now that is undemoable.
