PPL -- thanks for the fun last night. your game keeps improving everytime i see you. you should consider a clinic or two with the Sup. i sadly am not a wealth of information on how to play properly. the only things i can show you are how to not move your feet and not bend your knees. you know the essentials of lazy fat old man tennis.

auzzie -- that tomic kid is fantastic. he's been tearing up the juniors for awhile now and i think he's got potential in the men's tour. i felt bad for his opponent in the first round. must suck to be a grown man losing to kid.

zapvor -- you shouldn't make fun. that nobody who nalbandian lost to . . . looks kinda like you. lu is that you?

Sup -- if you're in the market for a CHEAP HD camcorder. there's one on sale today on woot.com -- it's only on sale today til midnight or when they run out of stock. video is stored on SD cards up to 8GB. an 8GB SD card will give you roughly 200 minute of 720P high def video. and you can swap out SD cards as needed.

He has kinda fallen off the last couple sets, but I still like his game. Reminds me a little of Murray. Simple, solid tennis.

Hey Zap. Some small words of advice. Some peeps don't stay up and watch the matches until the next day. So to announce a big upset.. may get some peeps UPSET. So keep it down low for at least 24 hours.

    TFM,

Thanks for the camera advice. I'm in the midst of borrowing a mama jamma HD camera and got some industry catalogs that I'm looking through. Mind if I send you some emails for advice?

Also any other recommendations? Doesn't have to be cheap.

    Thanks
    Sup

You know, I keep looking at the pictures, and I wasn't sure if what I was seeing was lead tape or not. When hitting with Drak over the weekend, we talked about putting lead on the handle, to make it more headlight, as it is already slighty head heavy. I've talked with Sup about that, too, just not sure that I need/want any modifications right now. First things first, my two racquets need to be matched to each other.

Well then...you should buy what Drak has, very very nice camera. He shot some stuff of Bailey and another dog running around the yard, and you could see such incredible detail in her body as she was running, and all the hair of the other dog's tail kind of fanning out. I hope he is able to post some of it, it looked very very cool.

In my videos he was also able to go frame by frame, so we could see exactly where I was making contact with the ball on the racquet, as well as a bunch of stuff on the serve. Very powerful teaching tool.

PS...my avatar is from one frame in a whole series of Ryan and me jumping up and down, being silly! I think I have all of it now, just need to pull it off of the disc we burned.

Sup -- yeps email away. on the consumer end of the spectrum i prefer canon. their optics (lens) are better and they almost always take better looking video.

Sup/Zap/anyone -- you got any hook ups on Yonex racquets? or Tecnifibres?

Topaz -- oh rly? i'm trying to get my hands on a used or demo 2008 RDS001 MP. you know cuz i'm cheap and i figure most people will be wanting the new RDIS sticks coming out and ditching their old yonnies. also because everyone including you seem to have sticks that they are loving but i'm all alone and stickless.

TFM, I will probably be making a decision on frames soon. I have hit a couple times with my HPS 6.1 Euros, and like them. I haven't received my Fischers yet. If I don't want them, I can sell them for DIRT cheap.

*edit* Maybe it would be best for you to get some Yonex frames, so I have more demo options...

Yes, reaaaalllllyyyy! LOL. I only see him on Monday nights though, I'll ask him and see what he says.

As the new ones come out, you might want to also check the classifieds here on TW as people may sell their old ones.

^^is that Dokic??? I liked her better with the big boobs.

Sup, about the camera, give me a call tonight and I'll give you some more info. camera has a lot of neat functions in addition to the high speed. also has high definition video which is amazing, plus other stuff.

Zap, stop being a spolier! :)

    Where'd you guys play at?

I'll play again. Unfortunately the only place I can ever find available court time is at Circle D and it gets real expensive for non-members.

That didnt really bother me all that much on the price at circle d last time. It would get old paying the guest fee twice a week, but twice a moth or less aint bad at all.

Im game this weekend if you guys are.

On a side note, for the next MAC meet we should all dress like a Pro player. It could be like a costume party/tennis meet.

    I call Del Potro.

You're right buddy. You hear of women getting the reductions to help aleviate back pain and what not. But man who woulda thunk it made such a difference. Maybe she is more aerodynamic now though :)

What kind of camera is it? Is it a canon? You know they have the best optics, especially for consumer level stuff. TFM would agree I'm sure of it.

Use canon the official optical devices of the TW MAC. Plus Agassi and that snobby Witch Sharapova

Aww man, I was gonna call DEL PORTO.

Well I guess I have to go with either Bagdathis or Nalbandian because they are almost as fat as I am.

raiden -- we played at the circle D last night. good fun. 1.5 hours between the 2 of us wound up being $36 for me and i think $28 for PPL. i had the $8 guest fee. meh. not the best of rates but with all the aussie open i've been watching - it was worth every penny. on a side note - i will most likely be attending this friday's social at the circle D. i think PPL is in and i likely will be bringing a friend of mine. he's probably 3.5 to 4.0 player.

JRK -- lolololol. good call on Del Potro. i saw him play the other day and EVERYTHING he does looks like a slightly taller version of you. serve, groundies, everything.

hollywood -- not sure i can play this weekend. sure you don't wanna come out friday night social?

oh does anyone know if the annandale sport and health still have their saturday social? i vaguely remember them having something like that.

Hollywood, the camera I use to take all the high speed photos (6o frames per second), and video (up to 1200 frames per second) is a Casio Ex-F1.

Oh, and Dokic needs to get her boobies back. Looks like someone "sucked" the life out of them. :)

I wish I could make the friday social, but I have a USTA match that night.

To hollywood, PPL, et. al, I am available most of the weekend except I have a luncheon to attend saturday between like 11 and 1:30, so I could play in the afternooon or any time sunday.

Lokks like a pretty sweet camera. I didntr think Casio was still around. I used to rock the casio G-Shock watch back in the day. That watch was almost as big as Dokic's old boobies. I think it was actually bigger than her new boobies though.

AlsoHow long can we keep talking about Dokic's old boobies being so great before someone gets amped up?

TFM, I cant do fridays because I bowl. Which basically relegates me to weekend duties for TWMAC Functions. I went to a clinic at the hershey racquet club last night. i hit like raw bunions though. But the facility was nice. But I will say i was kinda used to the Sup clinic with some drills and stuff. This one was basically warm up play singles on half the court. Team up in Dubs and play 10 point tie breaks.

Singles down the line really sucks for me. It turns into a consistency battle and I get bored too quick :)

Also if you want to look like Zapvor I have plenty of XXL extra long basketball shorts (no pocket) you can wear.

Once again, I haven't hit with it, but that is the frame Eugeinus brought out the first time he came to a meet. This could be a good sign, though, because he liked it and he usually plays with the Ti.Rad MP

I still think you should try the KFive...

circle d is in howard county maryland. probably a good trek for you. runs from 7-10:30 ish on friday night. $20 at the door. they break you off into doubles with players of like ability. play for about 40 minutes or so and sit for 15-20 usually. there's a bar so you can have drinks and chips between sessions. all friendly people too.

i think annandale sport and health has one similar to this but it's been a couple of years since i went. i'll call them and see.

hollywood -- i hear zappy doesn't rock the basketball shorts anymore. i hear he has actual tennis duds. but it's still a classic look. otherwise i claim peng shuai as my celebrity tennis player.

JRK -- my buddy has 3 k6.1 teams. i've hit with them and they're solid. i thought the weight was a touch low stock but it's more evenly balanced with weight in the hoop so it hits some heavy groundies. really easy to swing around. not sure how much you like slicing but i've never hit a better nastier slice backhand as i have with this stick. my buddy is 6 foot and 180 and he leads it up heavily -- probably weighs close to 12 ounces.

McLovin, How do you plan to fill out that catsuit?!?

BTW, the HPS so far feels really good. Solid, stable, good spin, great control, power on tap, doesn't seem to have any weaknesses, and I am actually responding well to the added stiffness. I'd say it plays like a ~65 stiffness. I can see why you would like it. Hopefully I continue to like the frame.

its friday night, 3 hours of tennis for $20 bucks. you play for about 30 mins and sit out for 15-20 mins. its not bad, more of a chill environment.

tfm - i'm not a member of circle d either so i paid the same price you did. it does get pricey but yesterday was fun. and i'm not sure if i can make it to the friday social. its one of my friends birthday and she has a party friday night.

its such a good deal, I used to play in some tennis socials when I was younger. I believe I have actually played at the Annandale one before. They are good for working on parts of your game in a non-serious competition environment

i got my shiet sappy. i keep it in the locker at work. no sticks though. i may be remedying that though.

Sup -- very good price for that stick. but then again the new RDIS hasn't come out yet so like Topeezy says - maybe i should bide my time for all the peeps to unload their old sticks.

anyone hit with the microgel radical pro? some guy is selling two of em. specs are about right in my ballpark. i wanted a touch lighter than the microgel prestige pro. plus it gives me 100 square inches for my royal shanky-ness.
