Yeah, I wasn't sure if that was lead or not. With that much, she *must* be counter balancing in the handle!

    Toldya she had a reduction!

Yes. It was the first one I demoed in my most recent demoing frenzy. I really liked it. Seemed to have a nice blend of both power and control. It was great on serves.

Trust me, it can make a huge difference.

I play there every Monday, and I know the director pretty well. My guess would be no on the Saturday socials, but I don't know for sure. Skyline has Friday socials, right Sup?

PS...I have no idea who I would dress up as?!?

I've hit with the MG Radical Pro... I really liked it and almost bought a few until I demo'd the Prestige. Not as much plow-through as the Prestige but a lot better than the other MG Radicals (which I also demo'd).

The strange thing is... my serve was not as "snappy" using that racket. I never figured out why (the extra weight maybe) but when I served with that racket I always felt like I had to try hard (which is something I'm not used to with serving).

Drak's camera is so awesome, it makes me hit dead center with the KPS88 every time!!! My eyes are even on the ball! Wonders never cease!!!

This is just one frame from a series...again, very very cool with the settings on the camera.

    Here's an actual video.

And that, boys, is how you toss the ball on your serve! At least I get one thing right! ;)

PS...Sup, I can see what you mean by still having some 'fry pan' elements in my serve.

PPS...Haha, wish I knew what I was saying! My lips are moving, albeit, in slow motion!

Here's another just for fun. And, just fyi, this is not actually taken with a camcorder, but a camera. Not sure if that will make a difference?

There is a bit of time at the end of this one, and I think it is neat how you can see the ball enter the court behind me, and the guy's FH.

what a strange trip it has been?!?!?!?!?

Anyone seeing that dude throw a hissy fit while playing Nadal? Smash your rackets all you want, that's not going to help you against Raffa man....

  16. i wonder how these play on the courts:

Oh, don't be jealous...I seem to remember some massive kickers coming off of that racquet, and I'm pretty sure I wasn't hitting them!

To anyone watching the Murray match, does it look to you like he is annoyed and almost bored that he has to play against this guy?

Yup. 37.50 per session (non-member). You just wont get the free clinic discount.

3 slots are booked. Vitaly, JRS and Magma. The 4th is open which TheJRK has.

I wanted a solid fourth, but the timing didnt work out.

No, just annoyed to be spoiled by results that happened while I was asleep. It is too much to expect people to read the VERY LARGE instructions on the forum, I know.

So the club I play at sometimes has famous sports faces visit. Most just workout, hit some tennis balls (somdev) and others.. well...

They imitate PP. The washington capitals players came in to play tennis. Fleischman and this guy...

    Milan Jarcina (6'4 233lbs).

The reason I noticed him on court #3 was because he hit his first serve so hard that it echoed. I had to admire how such a big guy, who obviously never took a tennis lesson, was hitting it so hard.

    2 things I learned.

1- I'm now convinced if anyone was that big they could hit that big of a serve without being given a lesson.

2- Unlike PP, this guy had a more reliable second serve. LOL. Check it out!

    Go Caps, Caps, Caps, Caps!

Would you say those serves have "frying pan" elements?? And when was Somdev at S&H?

I wonder if my wife will come to get beers and crab soup?

Now if that was the case, he would just show up at the bar right afterwards. He is eager to display his plastic man abilities on the court.

Yup. He has plenty of frying pan elements.

Somdev and Treat Huey (who was watching you guys at the Turkey Bowl) are there every school break. With Somdev now on tour, you wont see him there much.

Topaz has a picture with Somdev and herself.

holy crap 6 foot 4 and 233. i'm with you Sup - if i were that big i would be serving 130 easy. second serves. with a frying pan grip. kickers too. with dead balls. eating a twinkie.

auzzie - yes i got your email. thanks for the reminder. i gotta call my buddy and see if he found court time.

is anyone else convinced that nadal just upped his game about 2 or 3 notches? his flatter forehand is just plain nasty. looks a lot like federer's when he goes for the winner. and now his serve is a certifiable weapon and he gets easy points off it. still early in the tourney but nadal at the moment looks a whole lot more impressive than fed and i'm a fed fan.

  46. i like that guy's 2nd serve! woooo

i would heckle him like i did to LaVar Arrington! (and then run)

those skate shoes look pretty comfy and some are like 40 bucks.. they have all sorts of colors...
i need HW (my fashion advisor) to give his opinion though.
i know they aren't Lacoste or Diadora... but try to be open minded! :)

Hehe. Glad you agree. So I hope your boy turns up like Rocky IVs Russian dude. "I will break you".

I am off tomorrow night it looks. So TFM, you want to hit?

Nadal looks good... BUT.... the court surface change is perfect for him. Ball is sitting up. I swear the ATP needs to change their name to "We love clay courters". All the surfaces except the USO seems to slow down.

Today's tennis is to overpowered, people taller than 6'1" should have to serve underhand......with a wooden racket ;)

I don't think it would matter unless you made some gesture like Sebastian Bach.

I went over to their court cause I forgot the office keys on the bench. I was really hoping I could get a pic or autograph. They had 3-4 czech entourage with them. All except Flieschman barely spoke english. Or it at least sounded like czech.

Think .. that guy from the Bond Movies "jaws" and happy gilmore. I could barely understand him either.

    JRS,

I've always been curious. Are your siblings taller? With your long legs (or illusion due to your short nair shorts), I figured maybe you got the short end of the stick per se.
