Sup - looks like the JRS household has planz friday night. Sorry. No can do.

But can you hook a bro up with his BG fix - 2 packets please. I've heard that the larger guage string imparts more spin. Is that true?

TFM - can your arm handle a hybrid?

Sap - was putting the smack down on me and the pick-up lefty we played with last night. Sap actually looked like a solid player. For some reason he remembered he was the happy hour specialist when he played with me. I think its a C-O-N-spiracy. ;)

Playing dubs was alot of fun. Plenty of insults flying around - like that scummy TFM who would drop shot me - knowing I played a hard 3-setter the day before *shakes fist*

Of well, followed up that dubs with a 5-7, 4-6 mixed dubs loss. First set, I served for the set and lost my serve. Second set, I served to tie it up and lost my serve. Ugh!!!

Just an idea. If we do a TWMAC hit soon, the winners should pick the avatars for the losers. And the losers have to keep that avatar until the next meet. LOL!

Is that right?! A good idea. If that's the case, I won't tank games to keep it close. I'll just go for the kill.

To make matters worse for you JRS, I'll have Zap organize the next meet afterwards *crickets chirp*. You'll regret your idea.

    *yawn*

dunkin donuts coffee has to be the worst coffee ever. i wonder sometimes if they even put coffee in there or if it's some mock-coffee or faux-coffee. it's pretty good and terrible.

sold my sticks and tennis bag last night and managed to only lose a couple of bucks in the whole process. no soup for Sup. there was ZERO profit involved. so it wound up being like a demo. yay Sup Enterprises "Giving Tennis Players Grief Since 2007"

are we hitting today? what's for lunch? anybody ever hit with a Yonex Ti-80?

That sucks TFM. Wow. .. your selling price (44% discount) is cheaper than Shcmad's excuses for Safin's playing.

Business tycoon you're not. Valued TWMAC member yes (disclaimer: when you don't mcbail).

Demo the Yonex, and I can swing you a Yonex.

    LMAO

i like this avatar for SchlongStroker --

Also Sappy had moments yesterday where he looked pretty damn good. a couple of rallies with Schlongstroker it looked like the Sap was the one dictating. on a couple of lobs that he chased (?!) down, he didn't overhit and played a safe return back. WTF was that all about?! and at least when he was paired up with me i counted only one double fault. i think he got tired of me berating him and decided to not funk up so i would shut up. with enough nagging and yelling - he could wind up being quite a good player.

oh and as for Schlong and the droppers -- he tells me yesterday that he's still a bit sore and tired from the 3 setter with his league nemesis. that's like when you were kids and you told your brother to stay on his side of the backseat in the car. i drop shotted the mofo as many times as i could. and then giggle and laugh. it's really the best part of tennis. the giggling.

Ehhhhh.... maybe not such a good idea. But I could tolerate that avatar for say..... two weeks.

Sup - see my question on the Blue Gear?

TFM - I think Dunkin justs burns thier old donuts and then brews your drink with the ashes. That's the only way you can F-up coffee that way.

oh yeah -- Sup -- got permission from the little woman to play tomorrow. assuming two things of course. 1 - that you don't mind me showing up and half azzing it around the court and being a bad influence on the other classmates. and 2 -- that the other classmates won't mind me being the proverbial 5th wheel. especially when this 5th wheel is bigger and fatter than the 4 good wheels already on the car.

dats -- are you gonna be at the clinic tomorrow? if my ankle holds up i wanna come out. bring them plz. i know they aren't the manly 12 ounce versions but you've leaded them up to manly levels i bet.

schlong -- i'm not sure my snip snip surgery is even as involved as what super smash brothers makes it out to be. and i don't think there's any drilling or super moves involved.

DVI -- who's isner and who's andreev? and how would we break down your two games?

    JRK vs DVI

    Serve -- JRK
    Forehand -- DVI
    Backhand -- DVI
    Volleys -- JRK
    Speed -- DVI
    Gumbyness -- JRK
    Drinking Ability -- Push

Tough call. I'm curious to see who's cuisine reigns supreme. Post scores and results please.

^^ cmon, lets just end this whole thing!

i have no idea about the exact number of days. i'm dying though. i've resorted to drinking coffee now that i'm losing the caffeine from the soda. and starting this friday, $1.19 for a fish fillet sandwich at mcds!!!

work is exhausting. i just want to go and play tennis.

We can't...Sup will never, ever let us live it down!

I've thrown sweets away every day so far this week, including today...donuts, all kinds of green St. Paddy's Day treats, and today a cupcake.

I want to know why Easter is more than 40 days from Ash Wednesday! We're getting screwed!!!!!!

i've found the key to winning. play with lesser players. maybe i'll change my birth certificate and roam in the age 60+ female tennis circuit like topaz..

p.s tfm told me you roam with the older women crowd. i was there. and you gave him cookies

sappy - don't make fun of the elderly. sometimes in the leagues you run into some ancient players. as in older than your grandparents old. every now and again they surprise you with how fit they are and usually with how consistent they are but if you hit it outside their wheelhouse, you will see glaciers moving faster. the sadistic ******* i am likes to hit twist serves and lob them. a lot. muahahahahaa. sappy you should play leagues.

muahahahahaa. that would work too. sappy kinda looks like a doughy sextuagenarian. and he would have so much in common with them.

old lady: oh my joints ache and it takes me half an hour to get out of bed.
sappy: me too! pass me the metamucil betty. FML.

auz: i am just staying close to home today and it was great the JRK lives close to me and willing to come out to my courts. my joints can not take the auzzie onslaught today.

p.s. - although my courts are in surprisingly good shape AND there is a wall to hit against, they are in the slums of Baileys.
(little kids throwing glass bottles at each other and their moms are actually nearby but not watching. you can hear the glass smashing and the moms don't even turn around.)
i hope there is nothing weird like that today... cuz their is a nice picnic area and 2 courts for a TWMAC meet one day if it meets with JRK approval!

    l8r!

Join the knee crowd, bro. It ain't a fun group.

I have a bracket - at home. I have my alma mater, Memphis, playing and beating, uh, Wake Forest in the Final Four and Pitt beating Oklahoma. Then I have Pitt winning the thing, forever relegating my Tigers to the perpetual runnersup division.

So I have a 1 seed, two 2 seeds and a 4 seed getting to the finals. Last year was a fluke.

    What do you have?

i think i have some sort of crippling bone disease.
first my knee hurt, then my ankle..
so i put braces on both knees and one ankle and was doing
    ok UNTIL
    my back totally gives out.
    it hurts like helllllllllllllllllllllll

at least with the back, i know massive amounts of ibuprofen usually calms it down. (how the hell did i become elderly??? man, when it hits you, it hits you HARD!!!)
i'm thinking Roger Teeter is my only hope:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pnyVntk_YFY

p.s. - sup, i definitely have some technical deficiency when i try to hit a cross court forehand. i grip the racquet way to tight and the rest is like trying to flip a pancake instead of hit a ball. NEEDS FIXIN!

it was good to see JRK hit the ball HARD today.. hardly any forehand slice junk. but overall, our games would not have done well down w/ Auzzie.

Xis, i got Pitt, Oklahoma, Memphis, Louisville. i have Oklahoma winning it over Louisville just because Blake Griffin is my favorite player. plays all out.. all the time. but my picks never pan out...

Yeah, it was good hitting with DVI outside of the Thursday clinic. There were a few times I hit a $hitty shot and I swear I heard Sup yelling at me "stay sideways!"

DVI did very well to just block my serve back and let me cream it into the net or hit it long. He also drop-shotted me about 79 times. I think the courts at my condo are made of Nerf material, I swear I could just jump up and land on my neck and I would be fine.

DVI - Remember the @sshole who was driving without his lights? After I dropped you off, I pulled out of your neighborhood and that dude was at the next intersection pulled over by the po-po, hahaha!!! And he still had his lights off, LMAO!!!

Well I got in a good 3.5 hours of tennis today. My legs and energy level need to get back into playing shape. Felt slow and lazy.

Sup, Still like the Gammas, but I noticed today that the tension seriously dropped, then I noticed what looked like a piece of fuzz, so I scratched at it and it was the outer layer of the string. Then sure enough the strings broke. That mysterious weisscannon string wouldn't happen to be a multifilament, would it? Multis seem to last me 2.5 hours on average. They feel great for the hour or two, but that's all I get :(

if you leave a crumble trail of buffet offerings they'll come.

p.s I'm no good as JRS can attest. I only got 2 games in while playing with tfm b/c i got sick of his b!tching. it's like he's becoming more womanly everyday.. and he didn't even have the operation yet.

couple more pics for tfm then i'm out
