Sup - how much for a video session? I was hoping we could do video footage in the clinic, but doesn't seem like it's happening since this is the last session.

Also - Dogfish tonight? Gotta do it. I think my honey-do list is a mile long for my "day-off" tomorrow, so I can probably make it up on brownie points ;)

Ugh - galley food again.... :-?

I always knew I had the potential to do this, but you can't just commit to frames that aren't quite soulmate material

Should they let the guy that signed with memphis be allowed to go to kentucy?

I say if they are freshamn and signed because of the coach then yes.

I hate to say, but its looking like UNC vs UConn. Nova and MSU's runs are ending.

And if Ty Lawsons toe stays unstubbed then i think UNC is slighty better and should win over UConn.

I KNEW IT!!!! humidity over sharp instrument??? hrmmmm....
    -------------------------------
by the way.. WHERE THE HECK DID THE SUN GO????????????????? You were totally right about that. I have been sad, depressed, crying, listening to the Cure, wearing all black... this was totally depressing weather to return to.
Bailey has it sooooo good down there!
    --------------------------------
p.s. - if we play ball, i am NOT guarding HW! when i play these days, i always get stuck at center guarding the 275lb guy that plays like Ricky Williams at UT running through the hole. At S&H, a guy lowered his shoulder and knocked me back 5ft, and I had a WATERBOY moment. I got pizzed off and charged at him like a bull. (or an air conditioning unit) I still think there are offensive fouls, but in street ball, it is hard to argue that. but that is why i belong on the perimeter shooting airballs and setting picks.
oh, i have an infusion ball.. it suXXs.
    ---------------------------------
i just bought a bunch of Nike stuff to cheer me up. i got a SCUBA SHIRT!!!!!
    ----------------------------------
ok, back to crying.... sniff. i miss you Gina!!!! :)

i can't guard HW either. the rule is no fouls but that means you dont foul. no knocking anyone. where i used to ball everyone played nice and fair. when i did fall they would grab my arm before i even hit the ground and pull me back up. good times.

People playing nice in streetball? Where was this?

One dude got mad at me for taking a charge once. I fouled him a few times and he was all about to fight so I basically just stood there on defense and didn't move - he ran right into me. Then he got mad. ????????

Yup. Count Drakulie's condo is as dark as Gina's cave she keeps inviting you to visit. No spotlight and with 7 people in the living room, it got a bit hot. So one poke.. and I mean poke like Shcmad's timid voice.. and pop goes the weasel. It's not my style to break strings.

It's totally depressing to come back from sunny Florida. I warned you, hoping it would keep you from going Sylvia Plathe on us. My recommendation is to book a flight with your better half soon. It helps ease the pain. I'm thinking of surprising Drak without warning but I'm afraid of finding out why Bailey humps the cat (bailey is a girl.. the cat is a boy) *insert pics of Panterka*.

I'm still downloading pics and video from the trip. I'm sure Shcmad's and PP's right forearm *or left if they are talented* are tired with anticipation. So give me some time.

You want to do one tonight?

I'm in the process of buying a camera just like Drak's, so we can see your knee bend, head holding still and man boob bounce all in slow motion. Should be a thing of beauty, cause his camera made me look fat. I've eaten nothing but celery and some rice for 2 days now.

I have a class right after you guys. I can make dogfish but around 9:15 or so. Maybe too late for you guys.

I'm up for the vid session for tonight.

Don't know if the others are. It would be cool if we did vid on the first clinic session then at the end for comparison.

OK Zap. No fouls? How is that possible?

You dont go out looking to fould somebody, but its basketball contact happens. Just call the fould and check it up top. This no fould rule sounds like a bunch bizznatches practicing thier harlem globe trotter skills.

Usually when I would show up and play pick up ball, I would always be the last dude picked. Then the most out of shape suckiest dude on the other team would assume I was the most out of shape suckiest dude on my team and procede to guard me.

I would beast a couple rebounds get a few putbacks before somebody on my team finally would pass me the ball. The i would precede to blast buy the guy who was guarding me because of my superiorathleticism. The somebody else would attempt to guard me. Usually a smaller faster type of guy. Thats when I post up and destroy him.

    Basketball is fun

I remember doing a tennis video session with Sup... but then nothing. No video, no analysis, no mention of it, just dissappeared.

BTW - Thinking of moving to Spain. Who in the TWMAC was telling me they used to live in Spain and missed playing on clay courts? Nitefly?

Yo was stationed there (Rota) for 3 years. Our son was born there. Played on hard and clay courts. Beautiful country. Highly recommend. You would tower over most Spaniards, except for the Gasol family. Watch out for the macho thing.

I've always thought the Letter of Intent was a farce; kids go to play for coaches, and if the coach leaves before the kid plays for him or her, the letter should be legally binding.

So, even though it hurts my alma mater in this case, yes, they should be free to follow Calamari to Kaintuck or to go elsewhere if they so choose.

IIRC - I think the tennis club near UMD has red clay, but I think you have to be a member. Red clay would be cool.

I guess you're not old enough. I used to hate hard-tru, but I like it now since it's easier on my knees. Takes a little getting used to, but with a bit of good footwork and preparation, moveing hard-tru is no problem. For whatever reason, I could never really slide though.....

Tell her I envy her and you, you dog. :)

Yup, there's good surf, great sangria and other assorted wines and sherries, tremendous paella, beautiful flamenco dancers...man, you'll have a ball.

Again, watch out for the Gasol family and the super macho guys. They'll try to steal your wife away right under your eyes.

    Sup,

PP has told me that if you don't change the TMAC meet to the weekend of the April 11th, he will proceed to "kick your butt 6-0" and then he says he'll also bring out a crowbar just in case you threaten him.

    last clinic
thanks for all the hitting this winter guys!
i think i will be better this year because of it.
hopefully no more losing to someone's grandma cuz i double fault
and hit 10ft long on short balls.
i just have to keep trying to remove the wristiness from my
forehand. such a hard habit to break.

i am #10 on ACTA right now.. so i hope to finish higher at the end of the year. Auzzie shoulda joined it. For $20 you could have played AWAY guy and all the other acta freaks!!!

wut happened to my boy, rafaaaaaaa?!?!?!???! too much South Beach maybe? i hope i get to see that match. spoiler, oops!

I need tips MAC peeps. or I have to retire from any kind of matchplay, sets, tiebreaks, what have you. I am too high strung to play good tennis in these situations!

Anyone got good tips to slow down and calm down...?
Basically I either get nervous and tense up which prevents me from hitting spin = ball goes out. OR I try to hit too much topspin and i do a mini windshield wiper and I graze the ball with the strings and it goes no where. or a shank of course, my specialty.

...is it legal to be on valium during matchplay? I'm pretty sure I would play decent if that had me chilled out.

You can join ACTA anytime right? How did you move up all that way? What do you get if you are in the top ten?? The chance to deny anyone else's challenge requests

When are we going to hit? Saturday perhaps?

BTW loaded up one of my Gammas with lead... I don't know why I always do this to my frames when I get bored. Anyway ended up beating my hitting partner 2 and 2, but it just wasn't quite right. Too hard to maneuver.

Also, today was my first time playing in the Asics Challengers. The newer models seem to have a slimmer and longer last than the first generations. Still have good cushioning, they are quick, and offer great stability, but the upper of the shoe (right where the shoe laces end) pinches my toe. I hope they loosen up a bit.

    auzzz,
yeah you can join ACTA anytime.
you only keep a ranking if you pay before April 1, so some people dropped out.
i am sure i will get lots of challenges soon! but i hope to have a surprise or 2 for them. (underhand serves, hustle shot, rafa forehand, kick serve?)
i should be able to play this weekend. can you play sat or sun? i'm still trying to figure out the rest of my plans for the weekend.

i am liking the white/pink 1.1 ballistecs... better than the 1.3s..anybody else???? dunno if they are decent shoes though.

What racquet are you using now? How many times a week do you play? When you "release the cheese" does it smell like soy sauce?

I won't be there but for a couple private lessons during the today.

I won't be there at all tomorrow. Will be outside giving a lesson in this artic temp of 62. Call or text me if you want to meet up.

Stuff = better know how. Drakulie has two racquets that are as heavy as a log. The magic man put it around his grip (above and below) and boy did it change the feel of the sw. So I did my research and looked up USRSA articles. Im no lead tape fanatic like PurePrestige, but... the stuff is really being used out on the tour and college.

I've met bigger tennis stars and no effect.

However, I went "shcmad to safin" stoopid when I saw boom boom. I couldn't talk. Drak had to walk me up and ask for my autograph stuff for me. LOL. Thanks Drak.

I was like that kid from "Christmas story" .. .when he met Santa Claus.

He's intense, looks you right in the eye and is a big dude. Taller than TheJRK.

I saw him as a kid when he played legg mason. I was "shcmad to safin" stoopid then too.
