Our group does a demonstration every year at the Cherry Blossom festival, but I have yet to go. I'm usually on vacation somewhere during that weekend.

Sup said he ran into her too and when she said "hello" he was like "Who the hell is this?" I think her hair is actually shorter than mine now.

Sup - I'll be at Skyline tonight... I was in Dahlgren giving GI Joe demonstrations all day and by the time I got home I just went into a coma.

    TheJRK,

    Just got finished watching "G.I.Joe".

In one pic I'll give you my review:

The guy who played "duke" wasn't so grand. Even Sappy would of pulled off a better action hero. Also the US. President had an English accent! Wtf!

TheJRK = plastic man ..aka explosive expert.

p.s. Q as my witness yesterday, I took the radar gun out to test my serve average. 109 on 20 serves with a top of 115. All IN! Gym is helping out and Drak's baseball wisdom as well.

GI Joe was the dumbest movie I've seen in YEARS. God awful...

-Duke sucked as a actor. Guy was baaaddd.
-A white homeless kid in Tokyo?? Yeah right...
-The same white homeless kid was discovered by a Shaolin Monk who spoke Chinese and has a monastary in Tokyo? For those who didn't know, they were speaking Chinese in Japan for that entire scene. Shaolin monks don't train ninjas. Duh!!

ha.. following Sappy's other posts. Be original jughead! LOL.

I almost smacked Q.. cause he was taking video/pics! When we finished and he got nothing.. I asked.

Sup: Did you press the record button?
Q: There was a record button?
Sup: Dude! Yes. The camera isnt even ON! You said you knew how to record.
Q: I just said I would record.. right? Wait.. man.. my bad
Sup: grrrr. We'll your my witness.

I'll try again today or tomorrow. You should come out and record as well. It's been a while since I've seen your huge serve hit the fences.. too bad it doesn't bounce into the court before hand... lol.. just kidding.. kinda.

p.s. Steroids are good .. no? Nadal said so.. no?

Yes. My pantry door goes to my local italian restaurant. If you listen to TheJRK, my medicine cabinet goes to a MLB trainers office.

    Dats,

Do you practice at Kenmore during the day? I've been going almost every other day and I never see you there. You only go there for matches and to sell kids your happy stuff in ziplock bags?

Just jokin.' I think 6:30 at Kenmore sounds good. I don't recall them having lights though.

Naaah, I don't like the radar gun, plus it hurts my arm to serve my usual 120mph bombs. ;)

PP bought 2 MGPPs? WTF?!?! I was trying to sell both of those for $160... or one for $90. They better not have been 4 5/8 grip.

Dude, my leg is dead to me and almost falling off, but I still hobble out there to play. Come out to our mini-meet Saturday at Wakefield Park; we'll team up as Team Gimp and take on all comers.

Actually, I used Susan B's; liked the clanking sound better than the crinkling sound. Notice past tense, since that was in my younger (much) days. ;)

Not off tomorrow, but am off a week from tomorrow. Might see you Sunday morning again. Today, I'm going straight from the office to hit my 300 practice serves - 100 flat, 100 slice, 100 futile attempts at topspin/kick/WTF.

    Chao.

Why don't you just come to the clinic? It really helps your game and technique. Hitting a thousand balls helps me more than playing matches... and I actually get tired (disclaimer: I do get tired while playing Auzzie).

You're better than the guys in the clinic so you wouldn't have to worry about being the "sucky" one. :)

Sadly, I really don't have extra dough to spend. And I wouldn't want Sup to give me a "college student discount" cuz he's already done plenty of favors for me.

    Dats!

One of the contractors at the club worked security for Legg Mason. His job... drug testing the players. According to the rules he has to approach them as they leave the court! He told he how he had to ask Hewitt.. who then went on to shower, eat lunch, talk a bit .. before finally taking the test. Apparently there is a time rule. Anyways.. thought it was cool that he got to meet your fav player.

He also just got asked to work at the US Open! I asked if he needed help or if I could go. He said yeah. Want to join. You can hold Hewitt down while I grab his racquets! Only if you hold Fed down while I grab his!

    Vamos JMDP! phew..

    ^^^Thanks JRS.

You know, the Toshibas have come up several times in my research. I started by looking at the 505, then found the 305, and now your links have the 355, which is basically exactly what I'm looking for.

Hmmm, hope the price stays down for a while. I'm thinking I don't need it this semester (since my class is completely online), but starting next semester I'll be on campus for classes.

Speaking of cool technology...all of my grant writing last school year finally paid off, and my classroom will now have one of these cool babies!

    Dats,

How did you like the Lux Original? I strung up my APDC back in the day with it.. and never felt right. Since you like the Enduro Pro.. which is a cheaper version of the Lux Power (?).. which I string with now.. wondering if you liked the Original?

As far as I can tell, the 355 is fairly inexpensive to start, so if you wait the price should drop. They may have a better version out by the time you buy. It's not a sale or anything as far as I know. Performance many not be the best, but it's got all the needed basics.

That smart board is pretty cool.

Sup - Do the Nadal polka-dot polos fit the same as the pink FO Nadal polo?

p.s. Do you think I should try using a Alu/Maxim Touch hybrid? Do you think that will take my current average serve speed from the 120s to the 130s?

    • Courts 3/4
    • Bring a few bucks to cover court costs
    • Some tennis balls would be good, too

I'm wondering if I should try to get us a 3rd court?

    We have:

    Schmad
    Magmasilk
    JRK
    JJJosh
    MrsJJJosh
    PPL
    MrHan (?)
    Zapvor (?)
    Skunk (? - haven't heard back)
JRK's friend (have you heard back?)

Hmmm, you know what, I'll call and see if I can get a 3rd, and ask them if it is ok if I cancel it tomorrow morning.
