    TheJRK and Shcmad,

Thanks for coming out to the clinic. Shcmad why you hit so hard .. and flat.. our poor nets took a lot of abuse! TheJRK, you really hit well with that Prince. Smooth as butter.

I was also happy to hit a couple serves against you TheJRK. The first one *cough ace* was nice, but the others helped me get feedback from you. My serve is getting faster again! Progress!

Your captain Amy and fellow clinic player Cari may have something to offer you if there was a mistake.

Speaking of Cari. She has a lesson in about a hour! Have to get on the road!

Wow, when did the list blow up? Last I saw, we had about 4 peeps coming. Good work, Lady Topaz. :)
P.S. I wanna play some dubs; need to practice my new serve-and-volley strategy, hahaha.
SPOILER ALERT: I will be wearing pink, and apparel duplication apparently bothers Mr. JRK. Hmmmm. Thought that was a feminine thing. Won't bother me a bit if you also wear pink, although you will look better in it than I will. Play better in it, too, for that matter. That doesn't bother me, either.

Skunk texted me, I don't think she will be able to make it.

I haven't heard back from Dave yet.

I won't be wearing the pink shirt on Saturday so we are good to go. :)

The clinic was great and the hit afterwards was good too. That one Korean lady can hit pretty well... I think she burned Shcmad a few times, LOL.

Nice serving on your part... fast, heavy ball, probably in the low 100's. It was difficult for me to return. I'm used to being the big server, I don't have much practice returning big serves.

BTW, I was dreaming about that Prince racket all night... if you can swing a deal on that bad boy, I'd get a few of them. :)

Ok, you know what, I'm not going to reserve a 3rd court. If we find we need one, we can more than likely walk over and pay for one when we get there.

    See everyone tomorrow.

Court reservation is confirmed. They had three other courts available at that time, as well, if we need to pick up a third.

Because these are reserved, please be on time. Thanks.

I'd like to thank Sup (Waste Management & Recycling Enterprises) for yesterday's clinic. My body took a toll from all the side-to-side drills. It's hurting even when I'm sitted still. Btw, Sup, you have a tendency to sideswipe at the ball when it comes to impersonating my swing coz I never do that. Plus, when do you ever see me overrotating after a forehand? LOL.

JRK, you hit well with the Davydenko frame. I can foresee a switch in racquet companies in the near future. Btw, that Korean lady ain't got nothin' on me! I was just letting her hit a few winners to boost her confidence. LOL.

Thanks for reserving the courts, Topiary. Will get there on time (barring unforeseen circumstances -- such as the time when it took me 50 minutes to drive 2 miles due to nighttime road work on 66)

Glad to see the JJjoshes and PPL on the list. I guess this will be my last hit with them before I head back to school.

Sup Price: $118, the pro tour version $115, and the ignite: $130

Like I told Dats with the T320s,... "why don't you test drive it a while.. before you pull the trigger".

Though you really did hit smoothly, no brash epileptic seizure or shcmad kind of convulsions... you hit with some authority as well and deep!

Probably cause the racquet has such a smooth HUGE sweet spot. Open string pattern as well.

The same PRO version of the racquet:

Seems to have a tighter pattern

    Head Size:
    100 sq. in. / 645 sq. cm.
Length: 27 inches / 69 cm Strung Weight: 12.1oz / 343g Balance: 7pts Head Light Swingweight: 324 Stiffness: 65 Beam Width: 18-20-18 mm Tapered Beam Composition: Carbon Wave Matrix Constructions Power Level: Low Swing Speed: Fast Grip Type: DuraPro+ String Pattern:

Why not also try the Prince EXO3 Ignite Team.. okay maybe its me who wants to test it out.. just for kicks.. but still. Doesn't look like a 95.

Oooh yeah, that's the one. With the first hit I would've thought the flex on that thing was 35. It felt like I was catching the ball in a net and just flinging back. "Test drive" meh, the wife spends $300 a pop on her hair every 2 months. I think I can get some rackets that will last me longer than that. ;)

I like that bag too... I was actually looking to get a new bag. I was checking out the new Head bags since that's all I have... but if I had some new Prince rackets, well then I'd have more options to choose from. :)

I saw you got the new yellow 1.3s now I think I'll pick up those red and black vapors so we don't end up wearing the same shoes at the same time.

watching davydenko hit backhands makes me want to get one o' them jobbies! send it to bosworth to make em 28" long!

i went out to hit yesterday and my racquets felt like foreign objects. could've been dead strings, but i think it is the YY disease corrupting my brain. they felt like strangers. hrmmm. might have to order a used one for an extended demo.

Too late. Put my order in this morning for the black vapor. I wouldn't fight the "hope Sup doesn't get that nike" battle. I would just go with the "I hope Sup doesn't wear that nike out" fight.

I am itching for the new vapors Fed is wearing now. Heard they are coming out soon!

Seriously though, I was just about to order those shoes. :|

You know, I think Drakulie may have one of your old disco shirts. The infamous " cloak of invincibility". All of his guests must wear his other shirt.. the orange "ruffle of doom" shirt. Only TheJRS got away without actually putting it on.. but I'm sure you wouldn't cry and say "they will revoke my hood card" if you do!

    1. How did you find a pict of both Common and Serena surfing?
    2. Why are both Common and Serena surfing.... together? :(
    3. Yes Serena, I am looking at your titles... ;)

Man, this Sat morning mini-meet is heating up. Wish I could make it.

JRK - the key to not dressing like Sup is just to buy last Season's Nike stuff. Sup just keeps that stuff in the back of his Nike warehouse and doesn't wear it.

NooooOOOOoooOO!!! Just kidding, I wasn't going to get any of those shirts. I'm not gonna get any shoes just yet. I'll buy the turquoise polka-dot polo and the yellow one, and maybe the blue one (doh, it's not available until 28 Aug)... okay maybe I'll get the black one too. And that's it... and a lead tape reel, and a roll of Wilson overgrips.

How long would it take you to get that Prince racket?

Another site in the mid west section of the US has the blue polo. That's where I got mine! TW doesn't carry it right now.

If you tell me to order the Prince, I think about 48 hours after I call it in.

Do you want me to order it? And the bag? And the monfils hair gel?

Wow! You are serious. All from what.. 12 shots with the stick. Try it out tomorrow. I know the grip is small. Just put more overgrips on it.

    The 12 pack bag = $45
    The 6 pack bag = $39

p.s. I need to send it back to CA soon.

first i want to say sorry for waking up ppl.

second i played like doo doo today. no serve. no groundstrokes. it was grea to meet xisbum finally though! despite what he says, his fashion sense is better than mine. also nice to see all the other mac members. for me especially it was a treat to hit with mrHan. i remember the last time and it was so long ago. hitting with him, he wasnt even trying. a few times he would take the short ball and crush it around 90mph. i wish i had video of it.

so topaz is the new sup:)

Since so many of you were so dazzled by my use of the list function (which I actually learned from Alice, BTW!), I shall summarize today's meet accordingly:

    • Zapvor not only showed, but he was ON TIME.
    • He also followed MrHan around like a puppy. Man crush!
    • Speaking of MrHan, I would like it be known that I did actually return one of his serves...once...into the court...that we were playing on. Let's not talk about the other serves, ok?
    • MrHan, what flavors cookies do I owe you?
    • Schmad and JRK played the 'heavies', and also the peacemakers since they played dubs with the guys on one of our courts, instead of kicking their arses off! ;)
    • I had a very nice warmup with Shcmad.
    • And then played a set with Xisbum...he won 6-2, but jeez...that score could have been much closer if I wouldn't make stupid mistakes. Grrr. But very nice playing Xis...I was pooped after that. Don't let any of this 'knee injury' nonsense fool you...he was practically skipping from corner to corner on the court!
    • JRK and Xisbum made the most colorful doubles team ever in the history of the universe.
    • MrsJJJosh...one of these days you and I will actually get to play!
    • When I left (I called 'no mas' at 11:30 so I wouldn't be too tired for my match this afternoon)...Shcmad, Zap, JJJosh, and MrsJJJJosh were *still* playing!!! The energizer bunnies!
    • I lost my match, but played really well! Especially for me in doubles! I guess a two and a half warm up with TWMAC is going to have to be mandatory for all my matches!
    • Too bad Sup did not join us after teaching his ninja tennis clinic.
    • Did I miss anything?
    • Too bad.
    • I'm done.
