Puma is actually the german word for cougar. Which leads me to believe that Rudolf Dassler was a real ladies man :)

i had to look up canadian doubles are well.. upon further reading, it seems that the closer you get to china the more ppl you shove on the same court. so my estimation for chinese doubles would consist of 100 ppl in one service box serving to 90ppl in the other service box while everything else is considered out

A co-worker of mine has an extra ticket for the Yankees-Orioles game tonight if anyone is interested... I think he said $70, they are 15 rows up from 1st base. Someone bailed on him last minute so he's asking around. He's from NY and a really cool guy (except for being a Yankees fan). It's him and 2 other guys I work with that are going.

Post here if you are interested.

I kinda get the joke and all, but overall this was a very poor attempt :)

A guy I worked with at andrews is looking for a job. System admin type with a TS. He lives in springfiled VA. So DC area is doable for him. If any of you dudes got somehting and can score a few thousand recruitment bonus to hook him up ill gladly pass on your info to him..

    TWMAC stringing experts -

My friend wants to try some Blue Gear that I have at home. I have a whole reel, so I don't mind cutting him some so he can try it out.

I want to make sure that he has enough string so the guy who strings his rackets has enough to work with AND also avoid any mistakes that might waste string.

    Soooooooo.......

-How much should I cut for my friend?
-How much extra should I add on (let's say he needs X feet of string, should I add 3 feet more to make sure the string has enough for tie offs etc.)
-Any other newbie things I should avoid?

    Thanks.

Let me know what racquet he has and I'll tell you what USRSA recommends to cut.

    -or-

40 feet and if he screws up all of TWMAC gets one serve of butts up at him.. from the service line!

Any advice? Measure twice, cut once and be sure to roll it up nicely for him so it doesn't get tangled up.

Well, I was thinking of playing a tournament this weekend, but after doing my bills...decided on a big, fat 'no'. (srsly, why so expensive?)

So, put me down for Saturday! :) Xisbum, you want a rematch? JRK, you want to finish our set?

head.com has the required string measurements for all their models, so maybe check online for your friend's racquet's specs? ...of course, i am the original poster child for "How To F*** Up Your Racquet In 4 Easy Steps," so whatever. in fact, i left behind my cursed racquet on the court after playing last week. again.

x, i'm sorry for myself that i can't play doubles with you & cindy & magma. but i have to play ladder matches at my club all week. i'm actually sitting on top of my club's singles ladder (i know, i know. take all the time you need to laugh...to give you an idea of the level of "play": i had to explain to one of my opponents how 40-40 is often called "deuce" in tennis. really.). so i have to respond to challanges this week. because if i refuse, i have to forfeit my spot.

Striker. I would say do what Han said. 40 feet will just about everything but a big bubba. Alot of string packs now are 39 feet. so somewhere around there and yul be fine.

LOL!!!!! I don't think he does his own stringing, but I want to give him a taste of BG since he broke his Gamma rough the last time we played.

Good idea. I think it's a Wilson though. I'll have to find out which one.

    Thanks H-Dub.

    40ft it is!

I would like to play at least one set of singles...don't care who I play against (though, if it is JRK, he has to serve left handed!).

This is assuming I don't have clinic, too. But yes, the weather looks absolutely beautiful for the whole weekend, yay!

I'm done with ACTA - I'm trying to get a refund.

I only played two matches in the spring and right now I won't have time for much weekend tennis since school is starting back up.

Shcmad. Will go see Nando today. wearing red jacket and black cap.

Anyone taping off of direct tv or the internet. hope maybe I can see Ppl and I in the stands.

p.s. ask ppl why he kept taking crotch shots (1 ft ) away from bolelli. very disturbing. people kept asking him why.

I like those. Tastefully done. Black with some nice accents and the Temco "Bo" on the tongue.

I'd wear those in a heartbeat.

Waiting for Nando match to start. His shirt has some funky animal like print on the back.

Ppl has run off to chase tramp stamps. I did fill his belly full of miller draft before he left.

    p.s. Im in for Friday.

^^^Those shoes have been hurting feet for years. Agassi did fine with Nike. he then started using Adidas, and his back began looking like a folded up lawn chair>> didn't last two years wearing those.

Maybe people will think "Why is Nando not practicing and just hanging out with Steve Toyota in the grounds?"

Let me guess...PPL was taking crotch shots because Bollelli is...tall?

Nice misdirection. You are Steve Toyota cause he was korean...south korean.

Bolleli had a racquet with a code on the throat. Ppl needed a pic. it was embarrasing to see bolleli watch as Ppl took what appeared as crotch shots...for I kid you not.... a whole set.
