Hey guys, still trying to see if I can make it on Saturday for the meet up @ RCTC. Not sure if my part time gig will have me starting this weekend, but if not I'll be good to go!

Also, yesterday was awesome to get out and hit... was playing on indoor clay in Silver Spring last night and it actually felt humid in the bubble!

When I asked if anyone wanted to hit, I should've specified (after work, around 630pm). You guys were out there at 1pm, I'm jealous.

When I finally got off work I was ready to go, but it must have rained because the courts at my condo had huge puddles. Needless to say I was disapointed... I also realized that I couldn't move my arms due to Kendo practice on Sunday, so either way it was lose-lose for me.

I'll try again after work today, otherwise I apologize in advance for my poor performance this coming Saturday.

    Wow Kendo!

I told you Shintan, i felt the force of a samurai! I just thought it would be Shin since he has Japanese in him (I think).. who knew the "great Haru- White Ninja" was amongst you.

    Wow....Kendo.......

Very nice... You are definitely more Japanese than I am already. I've never tried Kendo, Judo, Sumo...all the national sports from there...hahahaha

You might need to fatten up for that one. On the other hand, I think Zap should try Sumo.

Ugh. I made a "Haru" comment and couldn't put PurePrestige in the joke. Now see... PP you need to get that weight back. All those jokes to waste.

The Aspen Hill club in SS. 4 indoor clay and 6 indoor hard. The hard courts are really nice but are always packed with clinics/league play

I remember my early junior days playing there. The indoor courts were praticulary bouncy. However that was more than a decade ago.

Can you tell me, are the past state junior champions plaques still displayed?

Not too sure if the plaques are still up but I'm sure I can check.

Yes, the indoor hard courts are pretty fast there and while alot of hard flat and heavy underspin tends to skip through the court... heavy shots have a tendancy to take off like superballs if you hit em well enough!

I got your message. I will let you know the final count, as perhaps some people can't make it due to the change of location. Waiting to see. Either or, we may still have room. However since its indoors i have to keep a cap.

I do and I'd be happy to hit sometime. However, if your going to the competitive class, you are a couple of levels above me, so it might be a little boring for you.

no way at all!!!!!! I'm not even close to being good enough for that class, I just go to learn from the experts. Most of the time I'm trying to stay outta their way.

I saw that you work in DC, I'm down there at the pentagon, how much does that commute suck!! I take the MARC as much as possible.

I take the MARC everyday, then a bus from Union Station to my office (20th and C). Yea, the commute gets old. I like living a little further out though. If I can get up to telecommuting like three days a week, I'll move to the other side of the bay :)
