No - cellulitis is a "diffuse, acute infection of the skin and subcu tissue"

Red, swelling, hot and painful - red streaking beyond wound equals spreading. Mine was from a cat bite (like kitty keyboards, but don't tell Sapient)

Do you have a Mosby's medical dictionary yet? Get one, they are wonderful and invaluable.

Maxium Touch is a multi, slightly different feel than a SG. Get cheap, to offset the cost of the 1/2 set of gut. Doesn't matter which.

Nope, no Mosby's, but I will put it on the list! I do have a *huge* book of nursing care plans that I picked up for super cheap (like, 3 bucks) from another student.

A cat bite? Sheesh, Sup will have a field day with that one! Probably ask you if you were wearing Adidas when you got the bite.

PS...I loved that diner! Need a reason to go back...hmmm, I could *make* it be on my way to/fro my mom's in PA! Might need an emergency dessert stop!

Before you go crazy with the wish list, wait just a bit, because you will probably have a "required" list of books once you get close to clinicals. I would be surprised if Mosby was not on it, but don't buy until they say. The school could pick a different one.

Sorry TWMAC for the medical timeout, but you guys have gotten some good info. as an aside. :)

That's ok, they won't mind...it isn't like they don't post pages of expensive cars, wolf t-shirts, and what not!

The care plan book is Mosby, actually! I'm a long way off from clinicals, unfortunately. Heh, heh, I wanna get in there and do stuff already! And just think, I have the whole TWMAC to practice on! :)

    Quickfire Sup response:

-shell, the state dept. has no knowledge of you dunlop ways. this message will self destruct.

-shell, were you wearing adidas when the deadly cat attacked? evil attracts evil...oppopsites don't attract unless your a magnet.

-All this medical talk. Itchy? Red? Swollen? Are we talking about Zap's friday nights again? *insert pic of shampoo and hot dogs*

-topaz, practice makes perfect. just hang around the adidas wearing members for ankle practice. Ice ice ice...baby.

-I ate too much tonight. Sup loves pasta.

-Its getting cold outside. I dream of warm Florida weather.

^^^Read Shell's signature. You don't need a dept. for that.

Maybe there was too much wine with that pasta.

    RICE, not just ice!

Hopefully you picked up on the Mission Impossible quote. Or would that humor be a 'mission impossible' on you?

RT. Zap is a cool guy. If I still worked around that way I would meet you around there sometime. But alas I dont work down that way anymore.

We dont have any guys in Bowie to my knowledge. We got Columbia, Odenton, and Hanover covered I believe. A couple guys in Towson.

I self taught myself as well. Except you seemed to grasp it a bit better.

    Sup,

I thought of Zapvor as well when I saw the video. I guess it the skinny asian thing.

    Xis,

That Lotto hat is sweet dude. I may have to send out some feelers if any of my service friends are in Europe somewhere and can Military Postal back here.

JRK. When you going to Rota? You can be the TWMAC Lotto Hook up :)

Yea the top dude has the ones I got. The middle dude has this years color. With the greenish color to go with Xis' Hat.

I may cop a pair of nikes again one day. I dont have anj hatred towrad the company like I do Adidas/reebok. I just like the more obscure/less popular brands for some reason lately.

    TheJRK,

How bout them cowboys! Just a little lemon in your wound.. take come for your midnight cocktail.

p.s. Thank goodness the skins won. Losing to the rams is like losing to Sappy. Based on the score, the Skins are a 3.0..

Also thanks Sappy for inviting everyone and their brother to join the league. Seriously.. did your mailman not want to play? When I had to go looking for a backup for some players, the pickings were as slim as the buffet after your done with it. Kudos commish! Also didn't help my opponent scored 200+ pts. *insert cat with keyboard*

Haha, where were you last week when the Skins lost and the Cowboys won??? Final score 9-7??? You could put those bamas that are in your Thursday night clinic on the Skins team, they probably would put more points on the board.

On a Skins related note... there are 2 Redskins cheerleaders that live in my building... I was talking to them and they told me they make $75 dollars a game (WTF?)... should make Topaz feel better. <prepares to put Topaz on ignore list to avoid soapbox post regarding teacher pay etc.> ;)

On a good note, I won both my FF league games. Frank Gore and Chris Johnson as my RBs = 177pts, Opponent = 80pts, JRK for the win! And I still have Dallas Clark to play on Monday (just so I can run up the score).

Forgot to mention, good hitting with Sappy and Dats on Saturday, even though Dats "Iron Chef'd" his thumb off the night before, he still hung in there... then there was lots of blood.

Hey peeps, I'm trying to get a hit in on Thursday, any takers, suggestions?

Only $75/game? There has to be other perks..... well I guess maybe free sideline tickets might do it for hard core fans.

FWIW - The VP of Communications at one place I worked was a former Skins Cheerleader. I was a bit shocked that she brought her photo album from her skins cheerleader days into the office.

What's up with TWMAC members and knives????

Sup - Clinic is at 6pm - right?????

I'll see what I can do.

The wife is on travel this week and I have to pick up the kiddo and drop her at the Baby sitter's. Doing this and getting to Skyline on time may require either a Star Trek Transporter or Time Machine........

Last I checked you don't get over-hyped. Anyone can just go to TFM's posts to justify. Now say JRS starting calling you the next buddha of tennis.... then yeah. Poll time.

However, no doubt you are the zen of buffets and messing up a thread poll.

TFM still holds the title of Master of Pasta disaster. Your account of his second stomach unfolding in Adams Morgan makes him Lore.

sappy isn't really a destroyer of buffets. sure he eats a bit more than the average panda bear but not redonkulous amounts of food. like a panda bear he tends to graze all day long.

me - i can probably ingest my baby boy's weight in pasta. if i'm only a little hungry - i could probably eat PPL's weight in pasta. if i wanted to commit suicide, i'd eat JRstriker's weight in pasta.

coincidentally - wookie has become supersized since joining us in bethesda. mobility isn't as good as last year, but his power and touch are all a lot better. not sure which version of wookie is best though. supersized or mighty mugg?

But you are so wise in the ways of happy hour and sport authority string jobs. How can a mere mortal man like yourself build an android as worthy as Thumber. Like that old tv show .. small wonder.

Like that tv show. Coincidentally, that little boy in the show reminds me of PurePrestige.

No, it's the 105 version I want... it's still $130. I'm not sure why TW doesn't put that bad-mama-jama on sale.

And yes, I can be the TWMAC Lotto distributor while I'm in Spain. I already found like 10 tennis shops and like 20 tennis clubs within 20 min of Rota. I'm sure everyone over there is just hanging out in Lotto gear, sipping on sangria.

Dial down the jealous meter; they sent the wrong size shorts, so I have to send them back. But now they don't have my size listed. Bummer.

Ordering some generic Lotto shorts (black and white) to tide me over. Heard from the detail guy yet? That might be our best bet to get exactly what we want.

The shirts are really, really sweet.
