Predictions for Oscar’s Tuesday revelation: (1) POG, or (2) PS 6.0, or (3) Croatian Sensation visits him in Miami, or (4) he persuades her to wear Adidas, or (5) they get matching bandannas :)

It looks like the chance of rain is diminishing as we speak. 30% chance on Saturday and 10% chance on Sunday. Weather.com says it's only gonna rain tomorrow afternoon.

Just take Nutley St. until you see the Pan Am Shopping Center. That's gonna be Lee Highway intersecting Nutley. Make a left on that road and go about 4-5 miles, and Jefferson Park will be on your left, so make a left turn at one of the traffic lights. You'll recognize the park because there's a miniature golf course visible from the road.

    Ckuo,

Pleaseeee...You and I both know I don't hit the ball hard. I'm like a Santoro.

    KoreanHB,

Don't worry about it too much. I'm pretty sure you'll turn out to be a fine player.

To Anybody coming to tomorrow's meet,

I can get a ride to the park, but I need a ride from the park back to home. I live in Fairfax, near Costco. So, if any of you is willing to help me out, I'll buy you a Slurpee!

Thanks patrick, I'd very much appreciate that.

As for the head count, it 'should' be about 6 people in total, but last time, quite a few people showed up without notice!

hey, it was nice meeting all of you. I had a great time. I got really hungry and tired at the end and had to leave. should've had lunch before, my mistake.
I'm down for next week unless my schedule changes. It's probably my last time for a while because I am going on a vacation at the end of the month.

2nd Meet of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter.

We were fortunate that the weather turned out to be better than what we expected. A couple days earlier, the weather channel was forecasting rain for today; however, today was very sunny. In fact, a little too sunny! It was a little windy as well, but we, the Mid-Atlantic chapter guys, are so talented that the elements don't bother us that much. ;)

Bad Dog, our personal professional photographer, couldn't come this time. But, luckily, I had a camera with me.

From left to right: Patrick922, Zapvor, MrHan, Ckuo. Notice someting special? We all have some asian blood, no? :) KoreanHB and ShcMad (me) are not in the picture since KoreanHB was running a little late, and I had to be the photographer for today so no pictures of me today!

Another picture of today's group. MrHan being a little too nice towards Ckuo.

Han preparing for a Blake-style forehand.

Look how high he holds the grip. It reminds me of Coria. But, look how synchronized those two guys look. And, look at the forehand finishes. Almost identical. Scary stuff.

    One-handed backhand finish.

Nice contact point. Out in front.

    Nice follow-through, Mr. Pancho Gonzalez.

    Deadly backhand.

Good defensive shot......20ft. behind the baseline that is! Just kidding.

Ckuo showing off his Western grip forehand...even though he claims he uses a mild semi-western.

KoreanHB has textbook strokes. Very nice form. I like how good his groundstrokes look.

Here's a very short video I took with my camera after everyone left except Ckuo and me. Notice how we are not able to keep a rally going! haha. Anyways, I'm sorry ladies I have no pictures of me today. ;)

It's a shame other members weren't able to show up, such as Sup2DresQ, JRstriker, PurePrestige, Bad Dog, among others, but I hope they can do so next time. But, overall, we had a nice hitting session.

KoreanHB kept saying he wasn't good but he is EASILY an NTRP 4.0 at least. I know that's his trick to keep opponents off guard and then kick their butts. Nice try KoreanHB! MrHan is the asian version of James Blake, except he actually can serve nice and hard. Patrick has a smooth-looking game with exceptional touch, and the guy is a class act. Zapvor is one of the best doubles partner I've had! Ckuo tries to hit the crap out of the ball and outhit me on every occasion! Notice how I said 'tries' ;)

Anyways, gentleman, it was a pleasure to hit with yall. I probably should have put some sunscreen because my face is burning red right now. I'm looking forward to meeting you all in the future again.

Don't give us a hard time. We were trying our best. Our quality of tennis obviously deteriorates after 3 hrs of playing unless you're Davydenko.

I'm sure you can keep the ball in with that scary-looking Western forehand grip.

And, yes, we did have good rallies WHEN NOT BEING FILMED. It's called chokeage.

i have to admit playing with a wooden racquet is a very good experience. considering that is only my second time hitting with a wooden racquet it felt pretty good.
