all of my zumba is paying off!
    i destroyed auzzie today.
he might be going back to school
to get a degree in cryptography...
    because he couldn't decipher the
    BLACK CODE!
    wooooooooooooooooT

ok, truth is i played decently and won a few points.
and my footwork, speed, and endurance was all
slightly improved over my lazy, fat, beer drinkin
    summer daze.
    backhand was excellent
    inside out forehand was money
crosscourt forehands just meh but slightly better than my usual meh
serves and volleys... double meh (i blame goofy head handle shape)

black code leaves marks on the ball like a stencil would..
    weird.. but it plays well.

thanks for hitting auzzie... the winds died down and the sunset with full moon was a great environment to show of my exquisite array of shots and exemplary sportsmanship! my XxXtremes started to feel like sledgehammer after a while.. dunno how long we played.. but my arm was saying... nO MaS!

If I were you, I would definitely get a reel of BlackCode or something textured along the same lines (Focus Hex or Cyclone) and just let the spin fly. You def hit well today!

    thanks auz...
i owed you a decent hitting day after a few of the horrible ones lately.
i felt so good about it i went out and bought 2 cases of dogfish beer.

auz had some thunderous backhands with the hornets but a little less control than when he uses his 18oz donnay. but it sure will provide him with a platform to tinker with.

i am done. got my racquets, got my shoes, got my string (soon).... this is it until 2020. read my lips.. no new racquets!

Back to USTA Tennis... 8.5 mixed....

Thankfully I played yesterday, because in the first few points it looked like I only half forgot how to play dubs. Lost first set 2-6.

Started remembering how to play in the second set and went up 3-0, but obviously I forgot how to win a set as we lost that one 4-6.

Of course we were champions of the third set practice match where we bageled them ;)

Had some tough opponents. The guy was solid, hit lots o' spin and had a nice kicker. His partner was sharp too with deadly volleys and slices.

Tough match... maybe we'll do better next time.

p.s i'll just fast forward to the results:

sap: never makes it beyond 1st stop. eats all his food rations and decides to head home

jrk: after b!tch!ng about sap eating all the food, he decides to carry on with alcohol alone. stops after 1 more rest stop and goes home to wife and kids

dats: goes nuts and decides to leave entire group to explore on his own. ~fast forward 60years~ NY Times has article that reads: full bearded cave man discovered on appalachian trail, turns out to be 90yr old white male. lived off of old tennis videos and a black and white cell phone from 2002"

sup: we still can't divulge any of sup's stories

    Nice stories Sappy.

I know who I'm going to cut up like a tahntan now to stay warm. Pack light.

p.s. the trail is no joke. you can get seriously lost. Don't forget the bears. If we go I'm hoping Jrk brings Duke. Bears don't run fast with snacks in its mouth.

i made it back from the mountains of WV.
my marinated "bo bit tet" steaks on friday night were like eating soy sauce flavored ice cubes.
my tent was surprisingly warm, even though it was crazy cold the first night.
some guy was just sleeping in the back of his pickup truck. that was badazz.
didnt see any bears or rattlesnakes. lame!
climbed 2 "mountains".... it was surprisingly exhausting and i was thrilled that it was only 70 deg and no humidity. don't think i would've made it in august.
i was sweating like auzzie half way up and the weather was perfect.
i am now a happy camper and going to be fighting sap for the rei clearance goodies!

    p.s. - my phone is from 1998 i think! its a classic, like a prostaff 6.0 85!!!

p.s.s. - wut frames u got now auz? your gonna need a 28pack tennis bag just to lug those around soon!

I bought 2 pure storm tour plus frames this morning. But warming up for our dubs match today, the strings shredded?!? Just strung it this morning too!! Must have gotten a bad set of hex. Anyway, pulled out donnays; then JRS and I proceeded to destroy the other team.

Tons of fun tonight, JRS. Thanks for inviting me.

NICE!!!! Is it the Maxim Touch Classic (good stuff) or the crappy version that they tried to roll out as "improved" Maxim Touch???

I have two sets of Big Ace I'd Like to trade.

    Maybe 1.5 at resisting waffles.

BTW- Looks like I'm subbing for the Conejo Monday night. I also signed up for night owl at FRC.

I'd be down for lunch Tues.

did someone call my name? it's hard to hear with the noise my right arm is making after hitting with my APDC's yesterday. they should be named ACDC's instead.

Need confirmation on if Dats has the good or crappy MT. Anyway, Auzzie gave a Big Ace / MT hybrid a thumbs up so I'll have more orders in the future to give that a try.

I'm down with Bethesda Lunch Tues.

6 days after quitting my job and I get a new job offer... so much for trying to retire early like Sup.

Anyone want to hit this week? You'll have to show me what a racket looks like first since I haven't played since Jesus left Cicero.

Lunch was good fellas. The bartender was not. The bar I'm at now is properly trained. When the empty glass thuds the bar I should be served a new cold brew. Let's not mistake that thud for a drunk head thud on the bar.

Anyways, as usual, the company was good.

p.s. Schapp I ordered the stick.

Also fellas, no mention of Sup's plans. Regarding anything. It's for my protection.. just like when the clunker enters the tunnel in one end..and exits the sports car in another. Code talking you all should know.

    1...2....3...

Whatever Sup, Have fun in Vegas. Remember to place my Super Bowl bet @ the sportsbook.

    Schwing about the stick.

I won't tell anyone you have access to a guy who has 52 brand new St. Vincents, don't worry - How did he get them al to wiegh 15 ounces?
