Highly doubt it's Rafa's. Unless he finally switched, the Cortex piece on that frame is real - not painted on...

Lol! I'm not in hiding, just sold my soul to my 7.0 mixed captain! And still playing singles league AND I have my first 8.0 mixed match tomorrow? Any words of wisdom (other than stay out of the way of my 4.5 partner?).

And...I am right now, wearing my first pair of Asics. Love them! They were on liquidation and I might have to pick up more...they are the red/white gel resolutions.

I did send a message to MrsJRK.

I would love to play next weekend, plus I think we have a bit of a break in our matches...will check the schedule. Plus I'm not on deck for any more matches for my MD team, which will help out my availability too.

    Hey guys,

I am just wondering if any of you know a shop in our area where I can get the pallets on my Head Prestige Mid changed. Mine cracked where the staples were to secure the butt cap...

    Thanks in advance!

Sorry I don't know of one, but it's not hard to do. I can help, if you'd like. Takes a total of 30 minutes and that's due to waiting for the epoxy to dry for the butt cap as I don't use staples to staple it back on. Never needed staples once I started using epoxy.

JRs, glad I...errrr...my minions could help! Now let's change out those L3 pallets for the L5 ones I have for you. Give me a holla!

Hope you do well! 8.0 is probably gonna be a great time!

I just bought some Asics kicks for my mom, and then went to try on the new Res3's for myself, but they didn't have my size! So bummed...

We need to Photoshop an Umpah-Lumpa with a tennis racket to represent Paulman's minions. LOL!

Actually, I think I have a photo of Paulman's minions right here:

In addition to finding string an racket deals, the also do racket and string play-tests.

BTW- Topaz, I would never sign my soul over for a captain unless they could guarrentee that they could make me a 5.0 player ;)

We won! And it was my first match in my Asics, so I'm officially undefeated in my Asics! The match was a lot of fun, and they came after me a lot but I was ready...most of the time! How did you guys do?

Striker...we are a victim of our own success! We are doing really well and are trying to sneak into first place so that we go straight to districts and don't have to do playoffs. So, we are having lots of practices and are really working on pairings. It is a bit stressful at times but it really is a nice team.

We swept all three courts. But midway through the second set of my match, my back tightened up. Almost couldn't move or serve finishing up. Thank god we were able to pull it out in 2 sets.

    Congrats on your win!

JRs getting another backup for a frame he's played over a year or two is not a disease... Now, what I have is a disease. Downs, Auzzie, et al... Should I add your name to that list Zap?

What is your flavor this week or month? Apparently my many minions out there can help...

haha...yonex vcore 95D is my flavor of the week (dat's it's a pretty good stick - although, it's more of a blend of the rds 001 mid and the rds 100 mid -- flexier than the rdis 100 line -- has some mass behind it too)...i'm happy with it...for now...locking it in...my final answer...

Not sure those POGLBs with all that lead are actually heavier than the Vcore 95D Downs was hitting with. He was definitely swinging out a bit more with those Vcores than the last few times he was hitting with the POGLBs...

Bummer. It was just total serve domination. I thought I heard the ball scream in pain. I think even Auzzie said he felt sorry for us, and he was your partner - LOL!

ooooh vcore95d, oooh me want to tryz it!

who will have the vcore98d for this weekends hit? c'mon! still time to order from the Bird or MW!
    i should have
    rdis100mp,
    rdis200,
    prestigepro (no mp avail), and
    igspeed18x20
    by thursday or fri.
stringing up fresh youtek XxXtreme too
(with lead removed from head and only tail weighted to 11.75oz. see if it helps me serve with it... dunno)
first i hope that racquets actually ship.
then i hope for a week of dry 70F weather starting in 72hours!
then i hope that we can all get together and determine which racquet the dats should play with this season. the video evidence is pretty compelling that it should be the igSpeed, but i want to grow my hair long, speak spanish, and run around the court like Monaco and hit backhands like Nalbandian, so the YY force in me is still strong!
(however the chicken dance i do when lobbing over auz is probably more reminiscent of djoker at us open)

so come on out saturday to Wakefield for the great Dats Demo Day!
dunno wut time yet.. depends on sappy' brunch schedule!

p.s. - have u seen the new YY yellow/black shoes??? wish i had RDS001 mps to use while rockin them kicks! 8.0 fo sho!

    that place seems awfully pet-unfriendly!
    check this line:
Pets are prohibited in the entire Virginia portion of Assateague Island, even in your car.

geez... i go camping to escape The Man, not be even more restricted!
('Cause I'm as free as a bird now
And this bird, you'll can not change)

i sort of want to go back to the place i went last fall cause it was such a blast. but i also want to try new places too. conflicted.. just like YYvsHead
    aaaargh

Dats, Sap: I've camped on the National side of Assateague Island many times with the family before. Will probably go again this year during mid May.

It's pretty good there. Not sure about pets but nobody really bothers you there. Campsite is right near the beach. Sandy area, so bring sand spikes for your tents. Mosquitoes are not a huge problem if you go early like May but the weather during that time is usually pretty cold and windy. We don't have time to go nowhere else, so I can't compare with other places...

Sweet! I can't do it tomorrow but maybe Wednesday after work I can probably come by and swap it for you. I'll bring a couple tools needed, epoxy, and the L5 pallets. That is, if you care to see it done. Otherwise, I'll just swap it at home and get it back to you another time.

The whole Virginia Side of Assateague Island is a wildlife refuge. Thats why they dont allow pets over there at all.

But I would agree it aint the best spot for pets.

I'm in South Florida at the moment. I'm renting a 2 bedroom for a bit at a tennis club. The plan was to stay here for a short time and fly off after the Sony Ericsson but plans have changed. I am having way to much fun.

The real surprise is that the fun doesn't include as much drinking as I would think. Let's be real. I still love my beer and cocktails, but I've been having a blast doing a bunch of new things.

Couple of those things (will download pics if available):

    -Saw space shuttle launch
-went on a canoe trip and saw gators. Canoe partner fell in and I had to go in after her. (pics of that trip are in the belly of a gator I suppose).
-Saw the caps play the panthers. Got on the jumbo tron.
-Had dinner and small chat with a WTA top player *insert HW comment*
-Visited some really cool bars in Miami, Hollywood, Fort Lauderdale, Boca...etc.
-Took a trip on a friends yacht. That boat was huge. Three stories and there was a dinner party on it. It was privately owned. Will go back.
-Chilled on an awesome beach with margaritas and food being served to my beach chair. I don't think I can beer cooler and bag lunch it anymore.
-Gambled at Hard Rock. The feeling of having 2 aces before the flop is orgasmic.
-Attended a wine and spirits convention. Tequilla!
-Went to some pro tennis tournaments and events.
-Played a little bit of tennis. My wrist has been hurting and have been diagnosed with something they call the opposite of tennis elbow. I forget the name at the moment. Something like carpal tunnel syndrome.
    -made some pretty/special friends.

    Next is:
    -Key West
    -Sony Ericsson
    -Cruise to the bahamas
    -U2 concert
    -Southern California, Memphis and Nashville.
-Travel abroad maybe? I'm not sure anymore. I really am having a blast.

Oh picked up some nicknames (I could be blindfolded and know where I am now):

-Kid (early morning on a tennis court)
-Good Times (around young friends at building I'm staying at)
-Crazy (early evening phone calls to go out)
-Benecio Del Torro *no idea.. you know drunk people* (late night with some blind and delusional tennis players at a poker table)
-Snuffleuffleguess (sp) (apparently I shouldn't exist with the amount of shots and drinks I do...so I must be at my local watering hole)
-Vampire (yup.. party friends and I are out late and I don't get tired often)

I think I may be back in DC for a visit during easter. Not 100% sure it will happen, just waiting for my mom's guilt trip.

*yawn* just getting up.. have court time to test out the wrist.

Hope everyone is doing well. Thanks for the texts and emails. I do get a kick out of them.

Sidetrack .. HW .. since you have "the rock" as your avatar. Have you seen that movie Faster yet? It's pretty darn good.

There is someone here who wants to take me out for snowcrabs. I have only eaten blue crabs. What should i expect. Do I practice my fake smile now?

ps. I really have seen little to no asians down here. There was this old guy by the club pool the other day. Last asian I've seen in maybe 2 weeks now.

Is this place the opposite of Las Vegas *joke*

Should I make this a drinking game? See an asian, take a shot? Would that result in a lot of sober nights?
