Me too. Apparently TC is having a little contractual fight with Verizon and Cablevision.

TC has some sort of contract deal with a cable association to position their programming as part of basic cable but Verizon and Cablevison don't want to do that.

Hope they work it out soon or I may be switching to Direct TV.

Straight set blog has the inside scoop:

I have both Direct TV and Comcast. Wow.. I love my Direct TV for coverage of the US open. Watching whatever match you like is worth the money and pardon from Serena, Donal Young and Mardy Fish only coverage. Also the NFL package is going to be my Sunday savior for Redskin coverage.

    Downs,

Where's my beer... less the cockroach on the bar? LOL.. kidding.

The name Bon Chon sounds eerily familar to me. We may have went there or some other asain sounding place a time or two. This would have been a few years back though.

A quick search of the AMC forms brings up 21 other mentions of this place.

we've covered that topic many moon ago.... it's better than thi exploded chicken you rave..

also... is it sad that i know those chicken was not consumed at bon chon as they don't have a table top like that. nor plate.. and presentation?

also also.. i'm meeting a guy for erasure tickets at the door.. his description is that he's holding a rainbow umbrella. normally i'd say that's cake to spot but in this case i believe it'll be a "drag" to find him.

that's not sad...that's food skill...and yes, i think you told me about bonchon a while...probably while i was stuffing my face with kai rabert -- in which case, i don't remember our conversation...but yes, i agree -- it's better than the exploded chicken dish...

Where is this Bon Chon place. Did we go there before?

I remember going to some place and eating chicken wings cooked by asian people. I was skeptical to say the least. But I remeber regretting us not oredering more of them.

Way better than Kai Rabert, but I have made my feelings about that dish known. It was decent but nothing special.

But them wings ere good. Just cant remeber if was Bon Chon or some other place.

I'm surprised there aren't more Bon Chon chicken places in the area. Tons of Peruvian pollo places, but I'd take Bon Chon over Pollo any time. Too tasty!

Today's tennis schedule makes directtv worth it. No more going by what 'the man' forces me to watch.

Um... yeah. Not the type of dancing JR does on trips to Jamaica.

BTW- Sappy, dropped you a text a while a go. Let's grab some eats soon. Maybe after the 18th?

Or did you learn to tread water as you play tennis? New sport !

    lol I'm glad too!

No, no treading water while playing tennis! Last time hitting in the rain on those clay courts with HW was plenty messy as it was! It would actually be treading in...mud instead? Ehhhh no thanks!

that's rex's game. build hopes all the way up only to crush it in some fantastic and cosmic way.

edit: on the foreskins win.. same thing happened last year. just a matter of time before rex goes jekyll and hyde with more interceptions than completions.

I think I finally got over the federer loss.

I was eating at this place...

Pretty good, but the loss on tv may have negated the good food.

joe's crab shack is a chain. i think it's one step up from red lobster - or where i take my dates when i want a guaranteed hookup.

i went to miami a couple years ago wanting stone crab leg claws but they're only in season certain times of the year. go get some of these and tell me if they're worth the hype. they look awesome.

    Tennis monkey,

I had my first stone crabs during my key west trip. They taste like water downed lobster...and they served it cold. Two steps below blue crabs steamed in beer with j.o..

Though they did serve the claws with a spicy mustard dipping sauce. That stuff was good.

P.s. Are you still hitting with the princes?

big.. hardly. monday finals is where the action is at for NYC.

    1. most ppl with tix can't make it
    2. crop can't make it
    3. monday night football
    4. out of town-ers will have to ditch tix

    http://newyork.craigslist.org/search/tia?query=us+open+26&srchType=A&minAsk=&maxAsk=

tix are going for <100 a pop.. that's an awesome price for a majors final. i'd imagine fed nadal will go for a bit more but still lower than the 225 face value

Agree with Sup about the watered down lobster taste. I had a bunch of stone crabs in SoCal when I visited my parents a couple years ago. Definitely lots of crabmeat since they're big but nothing beats the tasty natural sweetness of blue crabs!

boo to watered down cold lobster taste. yay to spicy mustard dipping sauce though.

still playing with the prince exo3 tours 18 mains. they're good sticks. they have the softest rubberized paint ever though. it'll come off if i rub it with my fingernail too hard or give it a dirty look.

played a dubs tourney over the weekend. we win two matches and get to the finals. lose a very tight 1st set 4-6. my partner having a not so good serving weekend. averaging 2 double faults a service game. in the finals in his two service games he served 7 double faults. we start the second set returning first. we race out to a love-40 lead so three break chances to start off. chasing an overhead he rolls his right ankle (nike shoes btw). it's bad but he figures he can hobble around and i'll cover lobs. two points later he gets wrong footed and rolls his left ankle. stick a fork in him. he's done. we forfeit. game over and my partner hobbles to his car with an ice pack in each shoe. ugh.

Nike shoes as well. Wow. There is a lot...and I mean a lot of adidas around the club. The academy kids, pros and even the old guys are sporting them.

I hate to admit it...but I've been caught looking at the shoes and clothes. I liked the jack sock outfit and Nandos. however....I have not tried anything.

Btw, your doubles style would be king of the grey hair fellowship here. They would envy your crafty shot selection, then ask you when you'll be heading back to your country. Seriously, there is little to no Asians here. Scares me...I may ship Ppl or shcmad here to be the kato of the club.

yeah i felt terrible for my partner. getting beat on the court is one thing. but injuries suck.

so now i'm gearing up for the singles tourney this coming weekend. to prepare i need a lot more cowbell and a younger body. i promised myself i wouldn't play old man slice and dice tennis. i'm going to play young man slice and dice tennis!

I have the prince demo in hand.

Sup can practice with anyone with a 1hbh...but in a match it turns into Sappy's volleys. Decades of a 2hbh have ruined me. So back to the 2hbh. The guys here laugh because they seem to like the 1hbh but when they see the 2hbh they think it's a no brainer. Still sticking with the Wilson 95 blx, but thought why not try my old aeropro and the prince. Means nothing...it's all about training.

Long story,,,yeah the paint looks fragile on the prince.

make the switch sup. adidas is european. everything is classier in europe. cars, women, watches.

nike gets their styling cues from ocean pacific - remember OP from the 80's and 90's.

plus three stripes is classier than a swoosh. plus nike is a greek (european) goddess of victory.

i'm contemplating a switch to PUMA. but i don't think they make tennis shoes. but how can you beat having a puma logo on everything? i know i lost 0-6, 0-6 but i have a fricking puma on my shirt beyotch!

don't know what you mean by asian dood. i'm about as asian as biscuits and gravy.
