    I got busy too. No sweat.

    Cherry blossoms come out late march/april. It's tricky though. The can bloom then a storm pulls off all the blossoms the next day.

    just sent a note to my mixed captain, volunteering myself out of an 8.0 roster spot...

    Time to train for the tour.

    JOlly and I will be holding high-end training clinics for 3.0's and below that want to learn the art of 100+ MPH serves, heavy racquet customizations, open level tourneys.

    The clinics will be free but a donation must be made to the "Center Court Fund"

    Guest speakers will include:
    Auzzie, via Skype, giving lessons on tweener frames and 2hbh's
    Downs, via, the 'burg giving lessons on masonry sand and how to run around your fh in order to hit blistering bh's
    TFM - via satellite feed live from 7-11, he will be introducing the holy grail to racquet matching and how to hit a "wicked" kicka....

    Refrehments will be served by _______________ (H-wood insert food location here)

    Inquire within.

    Thanks for coming out.

    paulman aka "barefoot" - good doubles last night! there were all kinds of ridiculous shots being hit...i think that's probably the highest quality doubles we've had in a while...i STILL don't understand how you make those slippers work....haha, but somehow you're moving as good as ever...

    defending champs don't go down easily :)

    You would chose the tour over an 8.0 team:confused::confused:

    Dont you know any throphy you win on Tour is just a paperweight. The glory is all in getting random poeple to worship you on some web forum by posting videos of highly edited clips. Actual results dont matter.

    And as far as refreshments I have no clue, I could make some crab dip I guess and bring some natty bo's. Sappy could probably go on yelp and give you the closest places with the best reviews.

    Hahaha! It was definitely some fun competitive doubles tennis! Maybe it's a little harder for you to understand FiveFingers dealio because of your orthotics??

    yelp asks me for restaurant recs near it

    actually i don't like yelp much. i think their business model has gone way down to the realm of shady reviews. in short a biz can pay yelp to keep the good reviews on the top. i find chowhound to be a much better site.

    Burgerflipper has said the same about yelp from personal experience with his business. Seems like yelp shakes down business to pay them to keep the good reviews up.

    Note to self - search for chowhound app.......

    Thats pretty cool Zap. When its gets warmer again Id Be down to huck them a couple more bucks again. I enjoyed myslef that day.

    Maybe next time Ill string up my Hammer 5.5 stretch with the 15mm round beam, and my Power RD super mid 28incher that weighs 12.5 ounces. Biggest lunker racket ever made I think.

    sappy... check CL for BoH tickets.. its sunday night homie.

    auz - the bill for shattering my wrist is almost in the mail.. just need to figure out what country you are in.

    i wonder if i should demo Ezone100, Pure Drive light, Radical OS, or maybe Dora the Explorer is the best for twisted wrister serve. sigh... i should stick to video games. maybe i'm left handed at tennis and just never used it. hrmmm
    im turrible.

    is this what my serve looks like auz?

    no big deal, tomorrow perhaps?

    I would have thought the multi mains would feel good for your wrist...
    I guarantee you, if you simplify your strokes and serve, your wrist won't have to deal with the stress of having to be forced into some inhumane angles and dispositions!
    And you were destroying me with the RDiS200 and the TI.S2 on the weekend- probably more so with the Ti.S2!

    where is it? i might be down. best thing is to stroll up 5mins late to the show and follow the smell of desperation. <- also my plan of attack for buffets and women.. not necessarily in that order.. but perhaps so..

    ok, u guys heard it here first. mr. auz admits defeat. yup yup.
    time to invest in 6 more DORAS and get the TW matching service
    because high caliber players need exact specifications on their equipment!

    (the multi mains in rdis200 did seem to allow me to hit crosscourt forehands a little better. more dwell/feel.. but them strangz started shiften around pretty quick. yuck.)
    ((ooooh and i think i hit 2 volleys IN for a change))

    It must be a slow day.

    No talk of shrimp scamerability or classic frames or hotdogs or mayo or broads or weather or food or shampoo or football or how the cowboys chocked again or how the eagles also suck or how bad the redskins are or how awesome tebow is or how awesome five finger shoe are even though they are shoes and shoes or feet dont have fingers.

    What gives?

    Some lesbians love scouts. Hollywood has a scout. Jesus may love Tebow more than shcmad hits flat. I saw one Asian yesterday at the dolphins game. Making my "drink when you see an Asian" game a flop at the tailgate party.

    So I was hitting today and decided to sport the two hander. The convo went like this:

    Hitting partner: wtf
    Tennis pro walking by: wtf
    Honey badger: wtf
    Sup: can we drink beer now?

    Dats. You have a twin here. He's dating the Miami dolphins cheerleader of the week. Tatiana.

    Poker question. someone calls raise, but stacks his chips on another's bet...does he/she: lose the bet, lose the hand, cannot raise more than what can be determined is a raise, none of the above, all the above, or explain to topaz until sappy realizes he actually won the hand.

    P.s. It's nice down here. Flip flop and shorts weather.

    Dats,

    Do you remember Rocio when you were here last? Didn't you play guitar for her? Tall columbian, tanned, good game....plays for the team that Hollywood is attracted to? She just won bronze at the 30's mixed nationals. Her partner could of been a genetic clone if you combined sappy, tm and schmad into one Asian clone.

    sounds good.. post pics of this delicacy!

    oddly i've been mixing in a 1HBH and when i have a little time, i absolutely MURDER crosscourt winner with it. probably should try mixing in more slices and then blast one of those occasionally just to mix things up. i have that freedom playing at 2.5 level these days!

    if some dood is dating a Miami cheerleader, he don't look like me. i am PHAT as SHNIT!
    too much beer! ask the auz-man. we've hit a few times while he is back in the states and it is so embarrassing. to hit a forehand i actually have to hold back part of my floppy belly with my off hand. ruins my timing. and then when we play games he just chips and charges, drop shots while doing his best to keep from laughing as i take a few heavy steps to reach the ball by the 4th bounce. sigh...

    FARK! COLD AS BEZALLZ HERE!

    i don't remember any tall, bronze, columbian tennis girls down there... or else i'd still be down there! although i tried my best to keep hanging out with panterka by losing my wallet and missing my flight. that was pretty kool!
    ~~~~~
    sap, the concert was O.F.F.T.H.E.H.O.O.K ! stayed outside in the cold for 2 hours after and met the band and got autographs etc.... dunno if it was worth permanent frostbite, but at least the dooods were cool. hungover all day though. oooops!
    You officially stole my scamper. My legs feel like lead weights, and you seem like you have wings.
    Good to see you getting back into the swing of things, who would have thought footwork is so important for hitting tennis balls :shock:
    sap, i think the costco in slc has even cheaper tickets...hmm - but they might only have the big resorts (park city and the canyons), where my friends and i will be for most of the time...
    just a couple of bucks, i'd go with canyon sports. i think i've been to costco you speak of and the lift tix are a multidays for park city only. IMO other resorts are better. i will be spending 1 day in park city 2012 tho.
