•Deidre Pujols, wife of slugger Albert, went on local radio to discuss her husband's move to Los Angeles, and called the Cardinals' initial five-year offer "an insult." Later, she said, "it's just like God put us on a team called the Angels." Albert Pujols declined to comment, saying his speaking voice was embarrassingly high now that his testicles are in his wife’s pocket book.

•High school defensive tackle Tommy Schutt, an ESPNU top 150 recruit, decommitted from Penn State and chose Ohio State instead. "No big reason," said Schutt, "I just thought Urban Meyer had my back. And not in a weird way, like San- well, it doesn't matter. No need to name names. Should've just stopped that sentence right in its tracks. So much to learn. But I guess that's what college is for, isn't it? Unless you're Jerry San- damnit, I've done it again."

Have I mentioned before how awesome this grantland website is?

Bonus points becasue they introduced me to this broads twitter.

if i was stuck on a island with all TWMACers after a plane crash.. i would.

    1. fake my own death by swimming out to the ocean.
    a. observe the rest of TWMACers from a hill top
    b. hide so i can not be killed and consumed

    2. hwood would go crazy after day 5 and kills zap for very little protein

    3. zap would see if anyone wanted to play tennis. he was molested and stoned ti death by hwood
3.a zap's name would live on forever as the first victim

    4. jrk would use his kendo to leave the group after day 3

    5. dats would of left within 1 hr of the plan crash due to it being too main stream

    6. skunk and topaz would prob be kept by sup as his prize. he'd be constantly shifting tent locations cautionous of hwood's whereabouts.
6.a sup would rename them to juliette and kate..without clear explanations.
6.b somehow time shifts and 7 kids were born on the island.

    7. madness drove hwood crazy and he eventually turned into a smoke monster in an attempt to hunt down the rest of the TWMAC crew.

    9. TFM stayed with the group and became a voice of reason and latter finds god.
9.a despite all of TFM's complaints, he ended up with all the children
9.b hwood, now a smoke monster, attempted to snatch the children but was not successful

    10. schmad and PPL were so grateful of their survival, they lived out their lives as partners while aiding sup.

    11. sap find a cave with all TWMAc's name inscribed. however zap was crossed out.

    12. JRK and dats got together and found a sub..
12.a the sub was from the 50s alone with a picture of marty mcfly WTF indeed

    .
    .
    .
    .

    13. sap finds sub as well and leaves with JRK and dats

    14. sup is left on the island with skunk and topaz, starts a colony with electric fences to protect from the smoke monster

    15. tfm raises 7 kids and cursing daily of his fortunes.

    16. PPL and Schmad are rumored to have the cleanest house on all of the island.. .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .

    the end.

hwood -- i've read jenny johnson's stuff before on grantland but her twitter posts are hilarious. she sounds kinda like chelsea handler but funny.

sap you got the makings of a pretty good plot. you should pitch that to ABC. always wondered if Lost was a ripoff of eden no ori - japanese manga. or vice versa.

    lunch people?

Asking this question is like reading the back of a shampoo bottle:

    1. Ask
    2. Rinse
    3. Repeat

Can we make that question a sticky?

I hope so! But I doubt it!

Is that what makes the legs move? Oysters?

I wish I had your ability to commit... I think the other night I went through 6 or 7 frames over the course of three sets of doubles.

Honestly, it is more of me admitting to myself that I am a head case than anything.

All of my frames have the same weight, balance, string, tension, overgrip...hell, they even have the same vibration dampener. This way, when the ball goes out, there is no one to blame but myself.

You don't know how many times in the past I've hit a shot and said "hmm, that might have gone in had a been hitting with frame X". In some ways, I envy your ability to hit the same no matter what frame you pick up.

    Of course.

Its a shame they deleted the Kim Jong-Il thread it was getting ready to get prety funny.

He was the best golfer the world has ever seen

In 1994, Pyongyang media reported that Kim Jong-il shot an amazing 11 holes-in-one to achieve an unprecedented 38-under-par game on a regulation 18-hole golf course - on his first try at golf.

Reports say each of his 17 bodyguards verified the record-breaking feat.

He was pretty much the greatest man to ever walk the face of the earth not named Timothy Richard Jesus Christ Tebow.

•With two games left in the season, Drew Brees is just 304 yards away from breaking Dan Marino's single-season passing yards mark after a 42-20 Saints win over the Vikings. Unfortunately, according to North Korean propaganda pamphlets released after the game, he's still about 4,078,325 yards shy of Kim-Jong Il's all-time record.

57 racquets!?! Are you implying I might be getting a really nice Christmas present this year? Or is it going to be another empty racquet-sized box like the one I opened 3 years ago

sorry I am so demanding especially with these annoying-to-string O3 racquets

haha...it's all good, it's not that terrible to string...i just have to use the brake more than i normally do (which is pretty much never) - you definitely seem to hit better with the new string job!

downs - my wife saw your post of kai rabert. went out and bought ingredients. i made 3 batches yesterday. it's not exactly the same but still ridiculously good. we like it with thai basil added and extra spicy.

finally get to try the black racquet tonight. kinda hoping it plays terrible. i don't wanna like any new racquets.

That blackracket thing sucked. Way too light. I like my TF's. I think I might try to put 3/8 grip back on a couple to see if that gets my kickers like mad again.

I'm glad no others frames Ive tried have been better than my old school original T Fight 325's with texalium 18x20 pattern rules for me.

auzzie -- this week and next week are good for me. let me know if you wanna do some indoor time and i can book a night. unfortunately it's 9-11pm and in the boonies of moco. otherwise we can try next week when i'm off work and we can try during the day somewhere. just strung my sticks too. poly/multi hybrid in one, full rip control in another, weiss cannon i think in another.

hwood -- texalium rocks. i still regret giving up my six perfect t-fight 320s. i'd like to think i'd be a good 4.0 today if i still had those. instead i'm a middle of the road 4.0 and it's obvious why - lack of texalium.

i still think my wrist "might" prefer the shape of an L4 or L5 classic HEAD shape.
    (or it is hopeless)
anybody got L4 or L5 prestige mids or mps they wanna trade for L3 yonex rdis200?
guess it is time to scour the classifieds before the auz-man grabs all the good stuff!!! :)
