wookie! don't you have a village of baby wookies to take care of?

i'm older now. i can't be swapping out racquets like underwear. or having racquet threesomes or foursomes or fivesomes anymore. i'm a one racquet kinda guy now. i let downs and coolblue and auzzie and schap to carry on the tradition.

but oh the stories i could tell . . .

made white wine shrimp and tilapia fish stew last night. effing yum.

it plays really solid....kind of stiffer than the numbers say...i don't think that length is too terribly cumbersome...but it's a great baseline stick...

I really like the specs. I better stay away. tmonk will get on me if I don't commit to a racquet soon. I gotta be committed.

You guys are such a bad influence. Two demos on the way. I'm on break (as soon as I take this d*mn pharmacology exam)...I'm entitled.

    Right?

    AQ, what do you use?

I presume you're talking about racquets.

I'm a one racquet kinda gal. Always have been.

I play with a Wilson nCode n5 Force 98, strung up with Sensation @ 55lbs. It's not leaded up or customized in any way. Nope, kinda like me: a plain jane who's never had any plastic surgery. :p

Don't know what I'll do when they both break. They don't make 'em anymore (I broke down and bought a spare when I heard they were breaking the mold)...and the few other sticks I've tried (usually because a friend raved over it)...just didn't do it for me. The few who've swung my racquet think it on the heavy side but invariably compliment its fairly large sweet spot and forgiving nature. I have never, knock on wood, had any wrist, elbow, arm or shoulder issues. At this stage in my (old) age, with that track record, I'd be a fool to fool around on my love.

Haha, yes...racquets. And you are not a plain jane...I have a picture to prove it!

I'm tempted by the reports of some extra pop with the new PD. And I threw a Yonex in there on the repeated recommendations of a friend. WTH.

I hope I hate both of them. I can't afford new sticks!

It is good that you've found The One. :) Some of us continue the search!

Going to Lakeside Inn at south lake shopping center around 8, then heading downtown.

Just put dinner on the grill: pork tenderloin, marinated for 30 minutes in Dale's sauce, plus a Tbsp of Tiger Sauce, then coated with rib rub and a touch of white pepper. Got the grill up to 500 degrees, dumped a cup of soaked apple chips on the coals, put on the tenderloins, split into 4 pieces. Temp dropped immediately to 350, cut back the air, smoke is pouring out like a chimney. I'll check the meat temp in about 20 minutes, after the smoke has died down.

Opened a nice bottle of an Aussie Shiraz, started the asparagus spears.

    Good eatin' tonight!!

the problem as i see it is that you guys didn't have zapvor organize your little get together. he would've gotten you center court at legg mason and bottle service.

also i had this nasty purple toenail on the piggie that went to the market i think. been thinking it was gonna fall off months ago. last night i had enough and thought i'd cut it out myself. after a little bit it starts to fall off on it's own. and underneath it? kindof a baby toenail. so it was a full size toenail with a baby toenail underneath. i think my wife nearly threw up.

taking paulman out of a match with a leg injury is probably worth about $10. taking auzzie out of a match by breaking both his ankles is more difficult and worth about $100. i tore sappy's calf muscle and i did it for free.

Is the auzzie value so high beciase he always wearing the atmoic ankle braces on both legs? If so we need to up that so I'll pull a Vilma and chuck in 10gs to anyone who takes out brett favre. and 25gs to anyone who gets me naked pictures of jenn sterger.

I dont play in tournaments unless they garunteed 3 matches in a stadium court that seats 5k + spectators, but I dont want any spectators thier. Just an empty stadium.

tennismonkey, I'm quite taken aback and fortunate you'd think I'd be worth $10. But honestly, that's a cheap shot - it wouldn't take any skill to give me a leg injury. You wouldn't even need to try...lol I could really just stand there, lean on my bad leg at an angle and the knee might pop...

i believe after you tore your calf you walked yourself to a chinese buffet and after 10 plates - you then took yourself to the emergency room. true story.

    Suitcase packed.

I shall return in about a month perhaps.

Thanks dats for the hit. The skyline folks for being super cool. Sappy for being an old fart but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he tried. Paulman and downs, next time for sure (my people will call your people). Jrk, nice catching up with you, like old times....texts and missed calls...the mrs looks great (saw her at skyline). Topaz was hitting on the court next to me and dats (wave goodbye). Jrprostaff, enjoy florida on your business trip. Shcmad, enjoy Michigan, hopefully she doesn't make you wear a kato outfit while you drive and she sits in rear. Pure prestige....I don't know how to say goodbye in Bigfoot. I know how to say it in wookie 'growl waffles gone'. Tennis monkey, may your toenail grow back, and 'may you die and go to heaven half an hour before the devil realizes your dead'.

P.s. I was freezing this entire trip.

Besides, I ran him so much one day he was coughing his lungs out. Now that's a real injury, woth at least a C note.

I thought you'd take care of both ankles that last time we played- running me ragged all over the court!

P.s. found my own keeper 18 main strings O3 frame. this could be the one!
What's the bounty if anyone can catch the king of scamperability!

P.s. anyone want to ship me a stringer?!?
