that photo is the famous wookie trick. i don't think it's as large as it appears. i'm pretty sure i could handle that sammich.

btw -- on a whim i'm having my sticks strung up with solinco tour bite 17 full bed at 45 pounds and alu power/syn gut hybrid at 50 pounds. anyone try these strings?

Love the tour bite. Our teammate in Luxembourg got me hooked on it. Stringing it nice and low is a good move as it's pretty stiff. Love it!..... when I'm playing.

Nothing like the cheap 2second MS paint. Thats hilarious.

And the guy should have kept using the techifibres, would have saved him some time and money looking for other frames.

    Texalium FTW

Seems like he is settled with one stick now? But he has like 10 of them. Unfortunately, that company is in bankruptcy right now.

what's for lunch folks? I am tempted to run down to Germantown to get noodles.

    Congrats CD!

What's for lunch peoples? I'm eating Ethiopian. Been told I look Ethiopian. No lie, been stopped so many times and people start talking and I'm like, sorry I don't speak your language.

Sappy, like the tennis ninja pics.

Anyway, working at home and watching the kiddo. Hard to type with a 4-year old hanging off your shoulders.

Everything is disconnected and out of place since we're having the house painted. Had to go MacGyver and create a desk out of a small coffee table and my bed.

didn't leave the house. I had leftover lamb burgers from last night. So I made a lamb sammy. I had some leftover arugula and put that on. That combo is pretty good.

Team monkeydowns had a pretty dominate day. Tm went back to a poly and was hitting his slice like he was last winter. We played some extra games after the real match - we won 20 out of 21 games today. Team barely won, 3-2, but a win is a win!

I'm a tennis channel junkie, couldn't do without it. Thanks for the tips. We did the zoo already. Today we went in the Capitol and Union Station. My son could ride the metro all day. Speaking of the metro, the last rail car I got into today was at least 90 degrees. Do they not use AC on the weekends? What gives?

prob caught a bad train. usual if there's a train with no one in during busy times, it usually means there's no AC, a crazy man inside, or there's someone eating kimchi and fish over rice inside.

It was brutal. We screwed up and got on a blue line train at Metro Center before that, so I guess it was our fault. We were rushing and I thought it said Vienna on it but once we hit daylight a few minutes later, I knew we were on the wrong line. There was a motorcycle completely on fire at the Arlington stop that was probably worth the $3.70 mistake though.

True story, over 10 years ago a frantic lady was parking at a meter behind the building I used to work at in Orlando. She was feverishly hunting for change all dressed up and I was chilling on an after lunch stroll. As I was walking by, she had tears in her eyes and she mentioned that she did not want to be late for a job interview. So I gave her the $1.40 in change I had in my pocket and went on my way. The next day, we fly up to Reagan and as some guy is getting off the Metro, he hands me his ticket and says I'll never be here again. I look down and $1.40 is stamped on it. SPOOKY...
