I am. Down in Chapel Hill and a fellow kind TTer has set up a mixed doubles hit this evening. I hope I don't embarrass the TWMAC. :p

No. And bah! We got rained out. Some rather serious thunderstorms through this area, including a tornado in an area just south of here. We'll stay home...and watch the original Willy Wonka. Depp's version was just too dark for my teeny ones.

But on the foodie front, we had crocked-potted local ribs, with local corn and some homemade CI-recipe tabbouleh. Tomorrow night's agenda: another CI-recipe of Fideua (a Spanish shrimp/pasta dish). Better darn be good for the $15 in shrimp it's costing me.

Tried to cheat and buy a "triple" chocolate mousse cake from The Whole Foods down here. No comparison. None. Now I'm spoiled, dammit. But my own f-n cookin'.

Bought a bottle of wine to use for a chicken recipe but I only needed 1/4 cup. Drank the rest by myself and now I'm finding it increasingly difficult to shoot people on BF3. So now I'm just driving the Humvee around trying to run people over.

Now Sap and I must kill you Dats. Only 3 people may know of tarpit courts at any given time.

I can't hit that early but I could hit around 6-ish. Did that place have lights?

Is it because of the cost? For e 4 example ft.lesley right accross theriver has 4 courts, well maintained, lit,and free all the time.

sap, you know me too well! I am a cheap-ash. I rather spend my clams on chasing food trucks rather than decent courts. Even though EPTC has well maintained courts, but at $9/hr. for outside courts, I can look for alternatives.

Is Ft Lesley full all the time?

back to under 3 sticks in the house.
the xi has left the house. from now on, only thinner frames. miss the racquet already. its the most stable yonex I've played with.
    what's for lunch?

does anyone know if I can use jb weld in a grill? will it poison everyone in the house? got a rusted piece that need to replaced in the gas grill. I was thinking about using jb instead welding.

that's the problem. I don't want to get one.. I get too clumsy near intense fires. since heat is not an issue, just jb it. its stronger than super glue.

Basura's Drunken Noodles are good... I get scared driving around Tyson's during lunch. It's like crazy drivers x1000 during lunchtime. Is Fuddruckers still there? I remember going there after my client site engagements back then.

Oh yeah, if you in Tyson's, go down 2 exits to the Gallows Road Exit and you have to try the Chili Chicken at Great Wall Asian Grocery Store. It's one of those 3 entrees + rice + soup in a box for $6. If you like spicy flavor, it's like really good there. But it sells out pretty fast and there's a 10 minute wait till the next batch. But the dish has chicken bone though.

Yup, one dubs match and one singles match. Both timed out. I don't make anything easy on myself!

    Seriously!

Gamma X-2 I think. Whatever the previous version of the current one is, because it came with 12 sets of strings instead of 6.

I ordered it, however, from a retailer named after a famous South American river.

Then from TW I ordered 2 Dunlop 4D 200 Tours @ $69 each.. like why would you pay $80 more per frame to get the Biomimetic version?

And I also ordered a reel of Sheep Micro 17 and a starting clamp.

It has been an expensive day.

I have an AG 200 as well. I decided I wanted something heavier to force me to actually play tennis properly instead of whipping my arm around.

Borrowed a 200T from a friend a couple of months ago and played with it a lot, ultimately decided that I loved it and got a few.

And the reasoning behind the stringing machine is that - I played with a $4 set 17 gauge synthetic gut that I liked way more than an expensive Luxilon/Natural Gut setup so I was like "whatever I'm getting a machine"

I haven't strung since I was in high school but I love working with my hands and I'm excited to get back into it.

welcome to the world of stringing. btw, Lil BoPeep 17g strings gets really slippery. If you doing it the first time on a x2 (I think it's a dropweight), be sure to go around, at least, twice on the clutch/tensioner. And the slippery resin sticks to your tensioner and clamps. Be sure to clean it with rubbing alochol before your next string job.

zap, i thought you told us that you're broke? Is there some kind of funds you are elluding from your fellow TWMAC's? Or is it from the proceeds from the shampoo and hot dog business?

    Cool

I will probably practice w/ some of the free strings that Gamma throws in, like 12 sets or something with the X2

Thanks for the tip sappy. I'll have to give these a shot. Prob can do pizza and burger, but might be a bit for for just coffee.

Taqueria Nacional was good but a bit pricey for the portions. 3 tacos, yucca fries and mexican coke - $15

    hah

i mean no one is checking up on me, as long as I get my cases done no one really cares - our work week is 37.5 hours and we just do it in whatever configuration we want. i'm not tenured enough to take my computer home and work from there, though. and all of our stuff is on an intranet that I can't access from my own computer.
