Had fun watching tennis at the CitiOpen last night.

Dolgopolov is interesting...plays ADHD tennis. He dug himself out of a hole to beat Blake, who from time to time showed flashes of his former self. Dolgo eventually destroyed him on his BH side though.

Sloane Stephens lost, but man, what a forehand!!! She needs a serve, though...very erratic and lots of double faults. Rybarikova was steadier on both sides. I hope Stephens continues to work hard though...she's small, but full of potential.

Vania King and Anastasia P. had a knock-em out, drag-down match...about three hours long. Pavy pulled it out, but this was the best tennis I saw last night. Creative points, good hands at net (particularly by King) and blasting power shots (mostly by Pavy). Pavy goes for it too much too soon, but wow, great shots, and she had the more dominant serve.

Querry/Anderson was snooze worthy...that was sangria time. Fish/Malisse was not great tennis either, though Malisse's BH slice was nasty, and it was interesting watching what Fish would do with it...either slice it back or try to come over it with his two hander.

I saw only the end of the Haas match...his match with Mardy Fish should be good.

You have a TI 70?? The red one? What head size? Good frame, and probably best serving Yonex I've ever hit.
I need 28 inch frames for best playing results! My one POGLB isn't going to last me. Maybe I'll find 27.5 frames and add a half an inch if no good 28 inch frames turn up.

Is that the Chang version? cracked both on the bridge back when (during serving and forehand). thank goodness for prince warranty. I got a graphite II laying away at my relatives house if anyone is interested.

Nah man I miss typed that I got a 50. Was looking at 70's some dude on the bay has a brand new 70 MP long up there. A little expensive though. Ended up getting two of the newer version Ti-80's

I guess if Kraijek used them they had to serve serve good.

There aint much out there in 28 inch category. You got the Kniessels that were out about 3 years ago. My My RD power 10 super mids, the aforementioned POGLB, and not much that I know of.

I greatly admire Fed for his skill and class, but even I have to smile at young Andrew's performance today. Jolly good show, old boy, jolly good. :)

It is actually the Graphite Longbody. Kinda close to the Chang MP but 100 sq in head size. Is the Graphite II a longbody?? Is that the 14x18 string pattern frame?
Yeah your Ti.50 was really fun to hit with. The Ti.70 MP was essentially the same frame as the Ti.80 but it had 18 main string pattern and was 27.5. Ti.80 is an awesome stick. I think TMonk might have used it for a while, and I know Downs owned it for like 3 weeks.

i think i've own almost every frame, for some period of time...

tmonk -- are you ready for your auzzie-like demo days? where we bring 50 racquets to the court? although, auzzie and i would do that in the 20 degree weather in the middle of winter...good times! also, good win on saturday!

ankles are still there...i think the more i use them, the better...tmonk and i both won in singles league! and we both played WTT (on opposite teams), then i played 8.5 combo today...busy weekend of tennis!

3.5 and 4.0 singles (lord help me, I'm captaining)
    women's combo 6.5, 7.5 (with AP), and 8.5 (with a 5.0...who isn't very available...oh well)

Mixed combo TBA...I don't seem to have a 7.5 team. Hmmm....

JW told me he had a marathon weekend of tennis too. I hate all these weekend matches since I work so much on the weekend. I'd rather do a random Wednesday night at 10pm! That works much better for me! :)

Not sure if anyone remembered this cartoon? Only cartoon that gave me the creepies:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jDKyL6y7FZ8

Brought out the VHS and watched it again. I wanted to see how bad VHS video will be on an LED TV? Believe it or not, wasn't that bad. And this is over S-Video cable.

I was pretty much forced to watch GEM cause MASK showed right after. Had to share a TV with my sis. I had some pretty weird dreams of girly rockstairs in pink pastel clothes. That's pretty much all I remembered.

Speaking of shows that started with G. Loved GLOW. Not sure if anyone remembered.

tmonk: What happened to "I am a one racquet type of guy?" What racquets are in your list? Trying to get my hands on a used NYC.

Isn't the Captain Power the one where we can buy these laser tag guns and shoot at the TV?

I was all about He-Man when I was little.
