came for pics of food and landmarks and beautiful backdrops. leaving satisfied.

see lots of horses but i don't see any being prepared in tasty dishes.

i'd like to request a pic of you serving a tennis ball into the grand canyon.

Nice pics, Sap. Glad to know I'm not the only one who snaps photos of their food.

When I have a bit more time, I'll write on the mind-blowing Asian market I went to down in NC. I could get lost in there. Seriously. I'm determined to gather every wild/exotic recipe/ingredients from my library here at home so next time I go visit Sis, I can go Shopping. Cha-Ching.

Also, finally had the opportunity to checkout an Aldi. Sigh. Wish we had one here.

Hmmm, we have an Aldis not too far away...may I ask why it is so special? Should I make a bit further of a trip to check it out?

Maybe he slept in the city on Thursday night. Still, it must have been tiring running all over looking for a place to charge a dead phone.:rolleyes:

Actually, it was probably more like 7 or 8. Anyway, here are my tasting notes from Thursday night, after Tipsy lost:

Chum-churum brings the best of Pyongyang’s artisanal distilling tradition to the palate. It is well-balanced, slightly oaky, with a slight hint of sugar, and a nose of spice. It’s wonderful chilled and paired with grilled scallops. Just enough heat to stand up to ice and a pleasingly sweet finish.

If you’re so poor, then how come you stay at 7-star hotels in NYC?? I am an abstainer btw and not Austrian.

We usually just bring our own coffee from starbucks to the USO – zap even took a pic of the coffee in front of the nude Ashe statue.

    WTF happened.

I go to take the kiddies upstairs to bed with Vika leading 5*-4 in the third. Come back downstairs, quick internet search...wham, bam. Serena taking out the weak-brained, shrieker.

Ugh...Vika worked *so hard* to get in a winning position. She looked nervous though, and Serena just calmed down and played nice and steady for those last 3 games.

Great match though, and I'm becoming a big fan of Vika's game.

I like her game and her attitude. She always has a smile, win or lose, even when you know she's dying inside. Not as self-absorbed as some others on the tour.

It was a good match. Hope Andy and Djoker both play well tomorrow.

How's school? Sounds like they keep you pretty busy.

Good performance by RGIII - horrible name.

My steelers got stomped by Manning and the Broncos. Getting Manning and trading Tebow is making the Denver front office look like geniuses.

BTW- US Open was pretty good. I'll try to put up some picts later. It was all fun and games until the weather warning.

Good call! Think tornadoes ripped through queens about an hour after I got on the train.

Oh well, at least it wasn't a total loss and the Murray / Tomas match was really good and I actually go some sleep on the train up NYC and the train back to DC.

i thought rg3 was good but if you take away his 18 yard throw to garcon who then ran another 70 yards for the TD -- rg3's numbers looks like:

    19/26 250 yards 1TD 42 yards rushing

and those numbers looks like a super efficient game with no big mistakes but it's not amazing.

LOL. okay i tried. i am trying to think of reasons why we shouldn't be excited because the skins find ways to make you care early and then crush your hopes later. but rg3 in some form or fashion had a hand in 362 yards of offense and those 40 points is about 3 games worth of scoring in years past. skins 10-6 this year.

didn't the foreskins go 5-0 in the beginning of the season last year?? if so, true to foreskin nature, gets a rise when rubbed initially but finishes prematurely.. i'm sure topaz can find a medical term for that.

Reminds me of that Mizuno Pro MV Auzzie had that day. It had like 20 year old string in it. But by far was the spinniest monster racket id ever hit with. I they were 14x16. It was defintaly open but I felt like I was able to control it well as well. No feel to it though, you just had to whip that thing as hard as possible.

why not just skip a cross or 2 on your current stick and bam.. 16 x 17 or skip 4.. bam 16 x 19

    you are welcome.

i've done that by accident a couple of times on my prince racquet before i found out the concept of shared ports. it caused no harm to my racquet

Wilson said that's the point, fewer crosses allow the mains to move more. Bet it's a string breaker. Gonna need a full bed of poly.

Might be able to sort of swing that on a prince with the big ports but I think that might be illegal on a normal stick since rules say the patter has to be consistent.

However you could do something like skipping every other cross.

The Mizuno was strung with 10 year psgd btw, in case you want to replicate. I had such good frames back then! Why did I ever sell those classics???
