Monkey, only thing was there were some really dead spots on the upper hoop with the Gold. Just every now & then while having quick exchanges in dubs, you think you'd stuck a volley but instead it was just off the sweet spot & instead of a lil less pace, it was like no pace - dead. Really odd & frustrating.

zap, can I use a twmac coupon for this? :)

    question..
trying to hybrid hexy fiber/ rip control. trying to lower the power of hexy.
    should I do rip/hexy or hexy/rip?

and what's the deal with folks having tension more on the cross than the mains?

disappointed in TWMAC. u tellin me nobody wants to buy my BLXPROs or RDIS200s for cheeeeeeep? geez.
i should have just tried restringing the BLXPROs with a hybrid cuz i like them it is just that its been crushin my wrist. i shouldve brought them out to try one last time against sappy. i just brought the rdis200s and man he was blowin me off the court when we were just rallying. but somehow we play a set and i think i might have bageled him. but the rdis200s had no power (except for one accidental 2nd serve i blasted @120mph down the t..oooops) and the strings sorta felt like p000p. dunno.

hey sap, u shoulda seen the dog after u left. he found a 60lb male chocolate lab and humped the bejeeezuz out of it. meanwhile a 130lb great dane was there.. beautiful dog... and it tried to tell my dog to cut it out and my dog, probably in fear for his life, goes totally CUJO on it and causes a big scene in the dogpark. it was so embarrassing and i had to take him outta there. he had this big grin on his face on the way home there. he is like a honeybadger. he just dont effin care!

I would have, but I am now a one racquet guy!

You should go with multi mains and poly crosses in the BLXs

I'm not much of a businessman, but seems to me if you want to sell something, you shouldn't go around telling everyone what's wrong with your product. Just sayin'. 8)

did the army 10 miler today as some lady's replcament. looking at her stats from the last 4 years, i'm sure i've done her justice by adding an additional 3-4 min/mile to her normal pace. gotz lots of looks with such a low number at the line. sure ppl were like what is this fattie doing in this wave. however did reward myself with a farmer's daughter from h and pizza promptly after.

That looks tasty! Saw that pizza on the Wash Post Express or something. Was it worth it.

Well, did day 1 of the Mclean Racket and Health Club Member/Guest tourney.

Don't think I embarrassed myself, but me and my partner didn't win any matches either. We played 2 1/2 matches (pro-set 10) and it seems like we would just lose momentum at 5 or 6 all. My partner was a really nice guy. It was fun, but I'm still not close to Shiloh champion form.

Also need a new string job - Lux M2 picked the perfect time to go super-dead. Might need to drop the poly for the time being. Might need to look at Rip Control.

by proxy. yes. some poor fool paid me for my number and the privilege of running as the great tennismonkey - TM (patent pending).

i think i want somebody to run a marathon now as me. all the glory. none of the annoying sweating and training.

congrads sap and tm for finishing. Those are the times from start to end, right?

My right arm has officially fell off after my first full time hit with my near 13 oz sticks. After 2 hours of hitting, I think my shoulders has separated from the rest of my body. I went home and shed 1.5 oz of lead. Now down to 11.5 only.

Ouch! The dangers of lead addiction.

Well I finally switched up my tennis clinic from the 3.0-3.5 group to the 4.0-4.5 group. Our instructors ran some conditioning drills that would have made Sup proud. Swear I nearly passed out following a 10 ball drill that ended each round with plyometric pushups.

Highlight of the night- Hitting on ace on the instructor during a drill. First serve of the night, boom, down the "T". Sort of made up for all that torture.

Hoping to get back into league next spring, but we'll see.

Sup car update. New car smell, cop attracting color, 400+ horsepower, manual transmission, and 2 doors. The complete opposite of my intended jeep selection.

    Trying to post a pic.

sounds like that might be the next meeting spot.
Can we sit there? Looks like it's around Metro Center.
My legs are killing me too now. That's what I get for not being on the tennis court in over 6 months. I am really getting old.

This, plus some new K-Swiss Tubes Monfils Mids, got my sorry azz ankle back on the court yesterday after 3 months on the sidelines - and it didn't explode. Sad to give up my beloved ASICS, especially the colors, but any sacrifice to get back on the court. Hope this is a long-term solution. *crossing fingers*

Hey, Sup, when you gonna drive up in those new wheels and have some real BBQ?
