Right on, brother. I can DIG it. Nice color, too. I can just feel that power just before the shift from second to third, my favorite gear BTW. And American, too. Most excellent choice. Come on up; there's a week-long NTRP tournament coming up (Oct. 29-Nov. 4), and I can enter us at 4.0, right ;-)? Deadline is Wednesday. Wanted to play singles, but not that sure of the ankle yet.

if I must guess, and Sup mentions fast. My vote goes to a Space Shuttle.
If Sup races me with this on the road, I can certainly hang with him from 0-30, but he'll certainly beat me on the 1/4 mile and beyond.

i heard that I have to drink at least a 6 pack in order to fully enjoy Jumbo Slice. I better stay away then as I do not endorse drinking and barfing.

sup, nice ride! Congrads! Did you get the 1 SS or the 2 SS model?
Does it still require Prem Gas, nowadays? I think the ZL1 model does.
    Nice choice of color too!

Downs, how did you make out at FRC's Night Owl? Any gas left in the tank when 10pm rolled around? Lol

I passed out really good after I sweated out 10 pounds of water weight hitting with you! Haha

Made a donation to the Goodwill on Glebe. If you go there you'll think you're in a tennis shop.

Gave away all my tennis clothes except one pair of shorts and one t-shirt. That was 10 pairs of shorts and matching shirts.

Gave away 7 pairs of tennis shoes, kept one pair of older Ballistecs.

Still kept all of my rackets though.

Sup, your car looks like a red X to me. At least the color is right.

Nice ride... we also got a new car in anticipation of baby #2.

Bring it home from the dealership and the wife says, "reminds me of the Washington Redskins..."

why YES, i do remember my krappy kar going insane and turning wilson blvd into a drag strip. almost ran over a person in a wheelchair and killed me, my wife, and unborn child in the process.
    thanks for the reminder Downs!
geez... i'm fired up now.. come to taliban courts
and i krush u like i used to do to auzzie!
(which means i might get to 5-4 and doing fist pumps and dances on the court and then i lose... but still... i will call it a crushing win.)

Dats - That was YOUR car?? How in the hell did you get it upside down like that?

On a side note... after the earthquake I walked from the JEH building all the way to Court House and got a beer at Four Courts. In a suit and tie. While carrying my briefcase.

jrk... take a car, any car... and step on the accelerator and dont let off.. then pick from going A) straight (running over humans in crosswalk), B) straight but avoid humans (fly at 100mph down into rosslyn and hitting god knows what), or C) turn right going about 45mph and hope to smash into a curb and that it helps slow car down... (instead car continues to accelerate as you run over curb.. over 2 small trees... and flips upside down onto somebody's double parked car.)

i picked C! was hoping for less impacts but glad the car didnt kill anybody. ended up in a prime spot to pick up some coffee & beignets though!

wut car did u get JRK? my dad just got a redskins colored subaru outback. i'm not diggin it though. u got bmw x5 in vermillion red?

Seriously though, my next car is going to be something fast... probably the R-Type... Volvo...

    i sold my RDIS200s and yy 9pack bag!!!! :)
now i just gotta find a box big enough to ship them to texas! oy

trying out my hybrid BLXPRO tomorrow to see if i can just keep using them.
it does feel like a pillow now instead of a brick but not sure how it will affect my 9.0ukrainerating game.

good news is if even if they don't work out i can now pick up my auzzie-beaters... the IG SPEEDs. (as soon as tw puts them on clearance... cmon already!)

hrmmm all this new car buying makes me want another vehicle.
i'd like somethin used and somethin i can get dirty and don't care if it gets a dent.
if somebody offered me one of these for dirt cheap.. id prolly take it:

My best friend had one of these. We had some some awesome adventures in that truck. I remembered we hit a deer once off of Avery Road off in Rockville/Derwood area when we were in HS. Instead of leaving it on the road, we lifted the roadkill onto the back of the cab and hulled it for his dad to turn to deer burgers that night. Good old 90's.

Weather nice today. Anyone hitting? Probably one of the last days this year in the 70's. Better enjoy it.

btw, has anyone hit with the PK Ki5x before? Looks like a sweet racquet.
zap: does your shop sell PK's? Funny, in canto, PK means something else.

CB -- you earn points with me for eating roadkill. i can't say i've ever eaten anything i've run over before. i think it's my loss.

HW -- they have some sort of cosplay dating and it's rated 18+. i have no idea what that even means but it sounds intriguing. you should go. i think if you put on a fake mustache and drill sergeant hat you could go as:
