Only thing I'm battling are diapers and wet burps. LOL!

Those were some epic Star Craft beat downs you put on me Sappy. Gave me just enough hope, stomped me but left just enough of my units to toy with. I think I could hear the lulz coming from down the hall.

Sure, send it to me. We may be able to match up some time.

BTW I still have to get a lunch in with you and TM sometime.

Man, played BF3 lsat night for the first time in a long while. All new maps, I didn't know where the hell I was going. Got only one kill but it was a doozy... I shot the pilot out of the little bird, LoL.

Nice! How is that new Aftermath map pack? I'm thinking of getting it, I skipped the Armored kill map pack.

Aftermath is pretty fun, the maps seem to be geared towards CQB more since they are so dense, no real long lines of sight to snipe people, at least not like Caspian Border etc. The cities seem to have more detail and hiding places though. Usually I can figure out where I'm being shot from but on most of these maps it's almost impossible to tell with all of the destruction and rubble laying around.

I like Armored kill too though since I like huge maps... oddly enough I don't ever use any vehicles but I do like laying land mines everywhere, ha.

Great playing with Sap and Coolblue today!!!
I stayed up til 4am watching racquet review videos on youtube and woke up at noon.

I just put in a demo order for a Vcore Tour 89!!! Why do I do this?
I like serving with the igSpeeds.. and I keep the ball in play ok with them.. which is a big deal for me, but i just feel like they play boardy and and no plowthrough.
If I can serve with the Vcore89, I think I might just switch. I dunno. Why don't I just admit that I wish I had the hand/eye coordination of Hewitt and that I refuse to believe that my wristy-azz forehand and lack of any strength or technique makes it impossible for me to play with midsize racquets?
Well, I won't sell the Speeds, but might just add a vcore into the bag when the wife aint lookin!
I was watching me play a few points against Drakulie with the Vcore95D and i think my backhand and serve look good. The forehand looks wimpy and wristy, but i think i can fix that with a 1/2 grip! Yeah, thats the ticket!!!
I guess this is what I do every winter when there are only 3 hours of daylight and the rest of the day and all night I stare at the computer thinking I know how to play tennis. Then comes the spring 10months from now and I play some old lady and lose and decide to go back to tweener stick!
This is my life... guess Ill just embrace it and enjoy my distorted reality.
    Werd.
P.S. - still full from HALF of that burrito. pedro needs to cut back on the salsa though! ruined my white adidas jacket too. now it looks like camouflage hunting jacket after salsa and guacamole explosion on it.
    good times... good times!

thanks sap and dats for hitting today. great to confirm that I have successfully went back to my 13oz racquet again.
speaking of 13 oz's, I accidentally inhaled half of the other Pedro special while driving home. wifey was not happy when she unwrapped. I tried to explain I accidentally took sap or dat's half. upon examining the prehistoric teeth marks on the delicious burrito, I was quickly busted...

+1 beers for u cb! Thx!
I think I've made big strides on fixing my serve...just took 10 years to do it. But my "kicker" shouldn't be faster than my 1st serve. Good news is they usually go in and i have good racquet speed up to the ball. Just not brushing up on he ball but i guess who cares. It surprises people when you miss the first serve so they take a few steps up and then i blast one! Muahahaha...still i wish i had a huge loopy kick serve. Sigh. Prolly a vcore89 will fix it!

P.s. -finished off my burrito and immed. passed out in my chair. Woke up to buble singing on my tv. Very scary...har!

It's going down Sunday morning, although it may just be a fun hitting session as Downs' shoulder is questionable (I believe Sunday will be his 6th day of hitting in 5 days).

I count this as a default win. Next time we play, let's do it in Reston. Your courts are awesome but the traffic is not fun.

April or May, I'll unveil "drop volley serve and volley on breakpoint part 2, this time its personal" :)

I love the clay but if I can save a 1 hour drive each way, hard courts it is! I don't mind paying for clay though. Any clay courts near where you work?

Mikeler, I'm a Reston resident. There are, I believe, a total of 8 (possibly 10) Reston Har-Tru clay courts with lights. 4 on Glade are about a mile from my place.

Ah yes, the Super Model Diet. I could use bit of that kick start my weight loss, but after the new year so it doesn't affect my Florida trip later this week.

You shouldn't have issues playing on the RA courts as they're not locked or anything. A court monitor (Manny) usually drives around to check to see if those playing have their RA pool/tennis passes. You'll have to pay him $5 per person to stay and play for that occasion. 99% sure he won't insist that one of you have to be a Reston resident. Pay the man $5 each and you should be good to go...

The other RA clay courts are up near Wiehle Ave closer to where Auzzie used to live...

Thanks again for hitting! It was definitely a lot of fun -- McLovin, like Auzzie, loves to make you hit "one more ball" -- over and over...I definitely need to play more singles, so let me know when you're back!

Auzzie, TWMAC meet at your home courts? Just book the flights for everyone and we'll show up at the airport...

Are they Har-Tru? How close to Tysons Corner?

    That is the goal. :)

We had so many long points in our last match. All I remember is we had 1 game that probably had 12 deuce points. Super physical match but those are the types I like being a clay court monkey.

Pman. IIRC - I thought at least one person had to have a Reston Tennis Assoc. membership?

As a Herndon resident who used to pay the Reston tennis membership fee, I'm pretty sure at least one person needs a Reston Tennis pass. The guest of the member may pay $5 if Manny drops by.

    -------

BTW- had a good tennis clinic last night. Felt like master of the Dojo. Overhead was on.

The tennis pro who runs the program is trying to recruit me hard for USTA, but people don't understand that I'm being serious when I say I'm not sure I'll be able to play USTA in the spring due to the kiddos.

wow.. just woke up from a burrito food coma from friday.

what's for lunch today? think we are getting papa johns. boohoo to the foreskins. tho the cowgirls made it interesting by keeping the race close. so next week the foreskins will loose to the eagles, cowgirls will go down as well leaving giants as the lone leader going into the playoffs.

    that is all..

    back to eating.

Yeah that's what the RA site and policy says but I've witnessed Manny not enforcing that rule before. Anyhow, if I'm around I can certainly have Mikeler and McLovin be my "guests" or they could always tell Manny that "PaulMan was hitting with us but he had to leave early..." haha

Thanks PaulMan. I usually try and get up there end of May or beginning of June hoping that it is still not summertime there like it is in Florida. One of these days I would like to see those cherry blossoms in April though.
