i had the same issue with you. Can't put a splitter on that MOCA adapter.
So what I did is the following:

How many cable lines do you have in your house? Try and use the one that's either shared between ur FIOS cable modem and ur MOCA adapter or the one with the dedicated connection. this way you can get the strongest signal. If it's unclear, give me a call later today and I can explain more indepth.

    This is my set up:

Router (coax) to splitter in basement (A, B) - (coax) to A living room - (coax) to Splitter in living room by TV (A,B) - A (coax) goes to cable box, B (coax) goes to MOCA adapter.

Should work considering what's on the DSL reports website. My splitter is a bit old so I wonder if it has a high enough range. I'll try to give you a ring later.

Just ordered 2 yonex vcore tour 89 racquets. Woot!
If these don't work the next step is gamma big bubba!
Happy new year to me! ... And to twmac, of course!

Its been a long year in which i almost died in a fiery car crash and had family members die and new family members born.
I played some decent tennis before getting fat and then playing crappy tennis.
I might hage FINALLY figured out how to serve in 2012 though so I guess it was a good year!
Hope to see u all on court in 2013 and be able to shake your hand after beating you in the 3rd set tiebreaker!

    Stay thirsty!
    - dats

should work since u have a 4 way. u have a few options:
    - since TV don't require as much bandwidth, u can try getting a 3way splitter and leave more
    signal quality to moca.
    - or call vz and tell them to increase juice by installing a booster. its free and it will improve ur signal. I will lean towards this option and say that u r getting a flaky connection.

new sorento is supposed to be 80 percent new or revised but it doesn't look much different. i got rid of my 2012 sorento last month. if i had to do it over again - i would've picked up the all wheel drive v6 and the third row seats. but that would've jacked up the price another $15k. and it's hard to see why you wanna pay $40k for a nice kia. i'd pick up a 2012 or 2013 sorento with the options you want. i'd sooner buy a car for google maps as i would for pandora internet radio. when they sell a car that lets me surf youpron - then maybe we have something.

Phone + Bluetooth / or Aux-in / or radio adapter = car with Pandora internet radio.

My XM radio trial subscription will run out soon. Some nice channels, but not anything I can get through my phone+bluetooth with pandora or spotify in the car. XM wants to charge something silly for weather+traffic info feed into navigation - eff that.

Got an offer to play 40+ 8.0 mixed. Problem... I'm not 40 yet. I'm sort of flattered that they asked. But then again it made me feel old.

No disrespect. I wouldn't have asked you for a 40+ league.

I've go to wait a few more years. Though I already have to many gray hairs to count. I'm doomed as my dad went gray prematurely. May just have to go bald.

True. That's would just about do the trick, but car companies couldn't charge you extra for fancy electronics.

Guess you could just duct tape an Ipad with 4g to your dashboad ;)

JRK, the music is a bit different these days, but there was one kid tape (yes, a cassette tape at the time) I actually liked when mine were little. It was a Winnie the Pooh album with celtic music. And its never too early to start them on Southpark :) Lastly, be thankful Barney has retired. OTOH, they had Barney targets at the gun range on the base I was living on at the time! Wifey did not like me hanging those on the fridge!

    my playlist for my kid:
    Gangnam Style
    The Lazy Song
    Call me Maybe
    (repeat 1000x)

Has anyone made any translation on what Psy is singing? My 4 yr old knows every word to that song but has no idea what he is singing.

hey JRK. try these. i had these in a lexus rx330 for the kids. bought the set on amazon which came with the headrests dvd players, game controllers, remote controls and wireless headphones. also came with a bunch of games on cd's in chinese if that's your thing. the instructions aren't exactly in engrish but took it to a car audio place and the guy installed it all and hooked it to the car speakers too no problem. the feature you want though is USB port and SD card reader. i never used DVD's. put all the kids movies/videos on a thumb drive or SD card in .avi format. works like a charm.

i'm looking at a mount like these for my car now. lets you mount your ipad or android tablet to the headrest - and then you can get bluetooth headsets for the kids.

Haha... as soon as he started grabbing his collars like that I was thinking "he's going to cross choke himself.." and he did! Obviously he was just messing around to be funny.

Some people are too proud too tap though and end up just going to sleep or getting injured.

I had 5 matches this past weekend and I won 2 via armbar, 2 via triangle, and 1 via arm triangle.

I have dvd players installed in the head rests now... that's what I meant when I said I have to listen to all those cartoons. My daughter is watching the videos but the sound comes through the car speakers since she doesn't like to wear the wireless head sets.

I can quote every Dora episode line by line even though I've never seen one.

ahhh. lo siento JRK. i know the lines to dora the explorer, go diego go, barney, backyardigans, wonder pets, mickey mouse clubhouse, etc. lately my kids are into octonauts and bubble guppies and jake and the neverland pirates. so there's a lot of running around the house with my boy squinting his eyes cuz he's a pirate with an eyepatch.

oh and if your girl is into princess crap -- sofia the first movie is out and the season starts january 11. check local listings. *sigh*

The new MDX has wireless headphones and can split the audio so I don't have to listen to the cartoons. Love it!

Do you like the Barenaked Ladies? If so, this kid's album isn't too bad:

    Yes...

and don't forget Timmy Time, where the animals just make the sound instead of talking. My daughter calls it "Baa Baa".

I think she's watched Sofia the First about 2 thousand times already.

Just sold my PK. so I have a free slot.

    please discuss.

I always buy 3 of the same racket. This time around, I have 4 of the same racket. Just tried the last Genesis multi. It is fantastic, I'll write about it in my thread later.

Ditto. One is my current playing frame, one is freshly strung in the queue to be played w/ next, the 3rd is the one I previously played with, and use it for hitting w/ the high school girls I coach, or when hitting w/ my wife.

    Effectively:

    1 - playing
    2 - fresh strung
    3 - old string

Once "1's" string is dead, I string '3' and it rotates:

    2 - playing
    3 - fresh strung
    1 - old string

Oh, and if I'm playing a tournament, all 3 are freshly strung and I use a new one each match, assuming I win a match...

i concur. once you have identified the racquet that works best for you - having 3 is ideal.

i have had as many as 8 identical sticks and while that seems like it would be great. it's overkill and there are about 5 sticks that never get used.

to me three sticks is perfect. i play about 2-3 times a week. if i play more leagues - i might pick up a 4th.

    what's for lunch?

i had lunch with sapient yesterday.

sap: TM you gotta try this place in silver spring. best japanese ramen noodles you'll ever have. they fly their noodles in from hokkaido. nobody knows about this hole in the wall place. ren's ramen.
TM: wow. sounds great. let's go.

on the way we run into three different groups of people. tell them we are going to a noodle shop but they probably have never heard of it. ALL three tell us they go to ren's ramen all the time.
