When I worked in the nike outlet, we would get these buses full of Chinese toursits. They would check all tags and if it was actually made in China they would not buy it. My Store manager was a chinese guy and could speak the language. We had a ton of siz 6-8 Jordans on clearance for 10 bucks. manger told the guy he would mark them down to 5 bucks. The guy would still buy them becuase they were made in china. Nike apparently at the time didnt sell the goods in the country so the poeple would not buy somehting they could not buy at home. It doesnt make sense to me, but i saw it too many times.

Bought a pair of Gel Solution Speedsback in the summer. Closest shoe to my beloved Diadora speed pros yet. Super light, but feels supportive at the same time. Its a plush feeling show though. So I guess most would feel it is on the stiffer side. Might have to cop a pair of Black ones that just came out.

Might be getting a job down in Linthicum so I may pick the game back up since there are people down there I can hit with and they have USTA and stuff.

hw -- there are lots of leagues in the hoco area. or you could pick a tennis club and ooh all the housewives and retired ladies with your 120 mph serve. also i don't really know what you meant by the chinese tourists thing. i think you may have left out a wouldn't or won't somewhere. but if you are from china -- why buy something that has been marked up 2000% when you can probably go to the actual factory it was made and buy it for pennies on the dollar.

made some fish stew last night and i made it too salty. i heard about this trick bout putting in raw potato and while it cooks - it absorbs salt. then remove salty potatoes and voila! it worked.

    lunch today is fish stew.

The point is they couldnt get it at the factory for pennies on a dollar. And it is marked up even more over there than here. So they didnt buy anything if it was made in china. Not even 5 dollar Jordans.

hw -- that's weird. is that a chinese government thing or nike exerting ridiculous control to keep prices high and preventing chinese entrepeneurs from selling cheap nikes on ****?

silly american. you don't buy shoes in china. you simply paid some child to do the walking for you until they reach a certain age and/or height (which ever comes first).

What did the TWMAC think of the AO final?

I was kinda meh... I hate seeing a really tight, closely fought match come down to an endurance event. Seems like Murray didn't have anything left in the tank at the end after that Fed 5-setter.

    shaniqua inserts? heck no dood.

djoker and murray have mastered defensive tennis so much that it's nearly impossible to win points. the only possibility is to lose points with errors.

the first two sets was mesmerizing but not especially riveting.

they should bring a USTA 3.0 scrub to mix things up a little. i can promise 30 mins of pure entertainment where djoker chases down my awesome lops into the stand.

That match would have been alot better if it was best of three. Really stopped being interesting after you knew Murray would be gases for the last two sets.

I was watching with my dad. He hates Murray and Djok. But hates murray worse. Once Djok won that 2d set I told him it was over and murray was done.

Then he started holding his hamstring as an excuse.

For the record my dad really likes Nadal and says he has the best "forearm" of all the guys he has watched. And by Forearm he means forehand, not the actual size of his forearm.

Haha... I can't tell you how many people I've met through work, or the military, or whatever... that have told me they play a lot of tennis and that their "forearm" is really good.

but tennis is one of those sports that many many people say they play when shooting the shiz at the water fountain. but the truth is very very few of those people are even 3.0 tennis players.

is it time to go home yet?

True... I did have a guy tell me he was really good at "spiking" the ball. I'm not sure if he meant serving or hitting an overhead.

Dats - took the kiddos over to the gym and trusted the 16 year old girl to not them die while the wife and I worked out. So far so good...

We have one of those super golds gyms with the massive kid play area with a bunch if Wii's and kids movies on TVs - there have been times when Bri was having so much fun with the other kids there, she didn't want to come home - LOL! They've also managed to handle the twins for about an hour or so.

dude, how old is your youngest? i thought they're supposed to be 6months at the youngest? i don't think i could leave my 4month at that daycare... maybe ill bring the monitor and set it up there.. ha! or maybe an electronic gps anklet so i can track her location.
but i have been trying to go to the gym and that would make it easier...
i am still hovering near crappy NFL qb height/weight (and im not quite at the same body fat level as these guys!)
    Dalton, Andy 6'2" 220 lbs
    Gradkowski, Bruce 6'1" 220 lbs

    and not Sampras/Rafter/Nadal 6'1 190lbs

gotta keep hittin that treadmill and trying to play basketball with the eclectic collection of Sudanese and Yemeni (ok, i have no idea where they are from... but thats my guess) high school dudes that run back and forth on the court without a clue on how to set a pick or play defense. but last time i played, i had 0 pts (0for4 shooting), 8 rebounds, 1 block. the block was pretty epic though! but I am obviously too fat and old to play basketball now too. (sigh)

almost got a bite on selling the IG Speed but nobody bumped my thread.. sniff.. cmon.. i wanna try the BLX pro tour! sounds like my game.. PRO effin TOUR pal!

Kids have to be at least 3 months to go to the daycare. Roland did fine. The girl just held him the entire time.

I'm at Djoker status right now. 6' 3" 175 lbs.

I didn't know Djoke was your size.

In high school, sports agents who tried to make you look better for coaches added an inch to your height. I recall one saying its your size with shoes. Wonder if djoke, fed or nadal heights are fudged that way.

Maybe they pull a jrs and measured themselves on a decline with a midget photographer.

what's life if you can't have a hardy laugh at yourself? if you keep it a secret and it donesn't work it out = lose lose. if you don't keep it a secret and it doesn't work out = win, lose, if you don't keep it a secret and it works out = win win.

it's very american to always win win.. in fact it is anti american to willingly choose lose lose.. be american.. win win.. ask yourself what would the eagle do..

The Eagle would soar above all looking for prey (In Zaps case a chic) andponce all over it (in zaps case he would also pounce all over it).

But thats a pretty serious tony robbins speach there man.

no zap. the eagle would update all his eagle buddies as to the happenings of his potential target.... and swoop down to scoop up the prey. when reached critical height (usually 100 ft). it'd then turn to the prey and ask if a date is in the stars. if not, the eagle would smash the prey on the nearest rocky cliff while throwing a middle talon to all his buddies.

I could have kept the dating a ***** (cant say 1esbo anymore) thing to myslef. But then I would feel worse about it. Instead I talk about it and people bust my chops and it makes feel me feel better.

So If ask this chic she says yes. You can let us know. And we can say stuff like "Good job man, just hide the case of head and shuolders and 5lb of bar-s hotdogs"

And if she rejects you we help ease the pain and say stuff like.

"She found the stash didnt she"

Or we can just call her very degrading names that ryme with *****($kank) and hoe. Actually we will probably just call her a ***** ($kank) and a hoe, and say you deserved better anyway.

And we will say these things even if we dont mean it.

So think about that before you go not telling anyone.

I'd be on that except I have played a game in about 2 months. Xbox is just a DVD player/Kids Netflix streamer at this point...

wonder what they will do with XBL when the push out the next console, especially if they are competing vs. Sony or a Valve "steam box" where online mp / match making is free.

Whats she gonna read. A bunch of stuff about hotdogs, Shampoo, various food things, eagles soaring, lesbians, baseball, basketball, and other random stuff.

We dont even know this girl.

If I knew her I would go ahead and hook up with her myself becasue you are taking so damn long to do anything.

I was staioned witht his guy in Hawaii, lets call him Dave. He was only like 19, but developed a crush on this phillipino girl that worked in taco bell. She always wore these black tights that were tight enough to see she had the old school 1950s style panties on. So we started calling her GP for granny panties. This dude would say all the time how he wanted to ask her out. But he never would.

This other dude we worked with lets call him steve got divorced and pretty much started hooking up with any chic that he could. It had been about 3 months of Dave saying he was gonna hook it up so Steve finally said "If dont ask her out or get her number before we leave here today, im gonna hook up with her"

So Dave finally manned up asked her out and hooked it up. I told him him to get her some new draws, but he broke up with her after like a month.

Moral of the story, hook it up with racket chic before somebody else does.

If she says no we we will here for your support.
