    So, what are you planning on putting in there? If you have gut, I'd go w/ 54lb gut mains & 50-52lb poly crosses, depending on the poly. That 4G you had in your racquet felt nice. Maybe 50lb 4G crosses.

    If all poly, then no more than 52lbs. Your probably better w/ 50 in a full poly.

    Of course, thats assuming your machine & mine are putting out the same numbers.

    Haha - too late Mikeler! He's been using full poly for 2-1/2 years plus another year of kevlar/poly hybrid! Of course, he hasn't always played 1-2 matches EVERY DAY for 3 years...just last 2. So...I wonder where that tender arm came from huh?? haha

    McLovin, I said to Downs earlier this afternoon that he should string the Pacific up at 54/51.5 or 53.5/51 gut poly hybrid. So today, after happy hour with Downs (before his 10pm match), I picked up one of his Bab PSGT- (get it? haha) to string it up and let him try a hybrid of Pacific Classic 17 at 57/54.5 Lux 1.22.

    haha...yes, paulman and i discussed stringing setups and tennis for a few hours over beer and wings...i love full poly setups...but i want to move away from it...if i can! i love the control...i need it...but i would love to use a gut/poly setup though...

    but i'm going to let paulman figure out what i need...i trust him!

    40 pounds full bed tour bite. think i'm using full bed focus hex at the moment at 46 pounds. definitely a lot more arm comfy than full poly in the 50's or higher. i haven't tried lower than 40 but i am not against it. i need even softer.

    Well, I have some Co. Focus and Focus Hex Soft we could trade. I believe we talked about some 4G you had?

    Also, I have a line on Pacific Classic that comes to ~ $24 per set if interested.

    i'm too used to full poly...it's been hard to change...

    haha...definitely didn't have 4 beers -- but it went well...it was just:

    [IMG]

    we shall see...your setup was really sweet! paulman suggested timo in the crosses, so i'll give that a try for now...hmm, i don't have any more 4g -- maybe we were talking about trading for some luxilon fluoro? i have one set of pacific classic now to try...i'll put half of it in my pure storm tour, and the other in the pacific...and compare and contrast...how many hours do you get out of your gut / poly setup?

    Yes, you're correct, it was Fluoro. I must have been confusing it w/ the 4G you had in your PST (at least I think it was 4G that I hit with).

    I get approx 6-8 singles matches, then I cut it out. Other than clay, I've yet to break that setup, and I could easily play longer with it, but I've just developed a rhythm where every 3 weeks I rotate racquets.

    First thought when I saw what the eyeglasses can do: cool!

    Then I went into 'downs' accident thinking mode:

    - the right side is so blinded that I can see a whole population bumping into everything on their right. "Sorry accidentally ran over the curve again"
    - one thing to keep my cell phone in my pocket, another thing to stick it near my head for that long. When will they disapprove cell phones don't cause cancer?
    "By accident I.. Wait I can't remember..."
    -I don't think I own a pair of sunglasses I haven't scratched or broken. These things look as flimsy as your acl. " I accidentally put on my glass in one piece and took them off in two"

    had to send my demos back... due to sh1tt3 weather the test was inconclusive.
    i might buy a cheap blxprotour but in the meantime i just removed all the lead from the head of my blxproopens and put it all in the handle. they feel 7pts HL now and easier to swing. maybe this will be good enough. ill let u know in may when it is warm enough to play outside. farklez.

    since JRS wouldn't buy my racquets i guess i gotta stick with them a bit longer! :twisted:
    besides i thought we were pretty even hitting the other day until he picked up the blxproopen and proceeded to crush every ball in sight so i guess they might not be the worst racquets in the world. i've just gotta dial the specs in for maximum dats krushing poWa!

    one a H street or the one in tacoma? if H street. bring cash.. $20max, don't tip, expect rude service.. fried fish is decent, wings are okay, you can tell they fry their stuff in the shieeeeetest oil possible as it taste good. also pack heat... expect to get mugged but it's okay, you can only lose max $20

    No, you said the most he could lose was $20. But you also implied his life might be at risk (hence packing heat & expecting to get mugged). So using the Transitive property:

    If:
    most you can lose = $20
    And:
    can also lose life
    Therefore:
    life < $20

    Hold on here...the whole thing is an 'assumption of risk'. You stated that the most he had at risk was $20, and in that same statement indicated that his life was at risk as well (why else would he need to pack heat?). So if his life is at risk, and the most he can lose is $20, then his life is worth less than $20. It's simple logic...

    Thinking about H Street one.

    actually I have been known to eat more than 6 glazed donut's at KKD's before. So in fact, to some, my life is worth less than $20.

    Note to self: I'll tell the folks at Horace that my name is Sap and I won't tip.

    Is it a base class or an interface?
    So:
    Code:
    public interface PackingHeat {

        public Boolean isFullyAutomatic();

        public Boolean canBeConcealed();

        public Boolean isLegal();
    }
    Code:
    public class NorthEast implements PackingHeat {
        ...
    }
    Or:
    Code:
    public abstract class PackingHeat {

        public abstract Boolean isFullyAutomatic();

        public abstract Boolean canBeConcealed();

        public Boolean isLegal() { return true; }
    }
    Code:
    public class NorthEast extends PackingHeat {
        public Boolean isLegal() { return false; }
        ...
    }

    driven through NE while going to NRH and i want to try the following:
    Chinito's:
    http://www.yelp.com/biz/chinitos-burritos-washington

    Tried Toki's: Don't bother. Way over-rated and over priced. Took my $25 as easily as the meter maid on my expired meter yesterday. Soup was not rich and dumplings smells like a dirty litter box.

    H and Pizza:
    http://www.yelp.com/biz/h-and-pizza-washington

    Not quite in NE but in NW:
    Jumbo Pizza.

    with the recently H street gentrification, it's becoming more and more of an interface... depending on time of the day, the later it is, the methods below would simply return true per the islegal method

    public abstract Boolean isFullyAutomatic();

    public abstract Boolean canBeConcealed();

    but isLegal() should always return false but i'd sugesst randomize it with a 99.999999999999% return false.

    same logic goes for class IsWearingNorthFace

    I wrote a VBA/Excel program one time with another guy doing all the fancy equations for some engineering software. I knew one day he would get curious and want to see what was going on "underneath the covers". So of course I made all the variables in the program some version of his name followed by various sexual references.

    I also made an Excel truth detector for one of my fellow engineers. He had to answer an embarassing question YES or he could not get into Excel at all. He knew enough how to get in and change the message to something referencing what a stud he is. What he did not know is that macro got attached to every file he created, so he sent an attachment to a large company that got there IT people all fired up thinking it was a virus!

    If TChem is around you can ask him around for Happy Hour as well, since he lives around there.

    Speaking of the area, I got a slice of Palisade's Pizza last week while driving home. Gotta admit, I was drawn in by the flashy neon lights in the storefront. (don't look into the light... ahem...) It's not as bad as a slice of Generic Jerry's, although I thought the dough was alittle tough and i had to use a napkin to soak up all oil on top.

    Ren's is not bad but the only gripe i have with them is that they charge for almost every single item that should be standard in a bowl of Ramen.

    I should go and make Ramen since it's a cold day. I think tmonk posted a link back on a recipe. the link had pig feet in there compared to mine's is a combo or pork neck and back bone. Secret is just time.
