Then again almost every Nadal shot could be a moonball.

Just saying, it I want to watch moonball rallies, I can go watch USTA league or tennismonkey all day ;)

Also don't think that moonball did much for her vs Shriekpova.

Crisifield seafood. Get the bisque soup to start off. Everything is greasy seafood goodness! Though their raw oysters I heard were really good.

I've had lunch with you there. I think you sister in law went. Nice girl. I recall meeting her for the first time at the Reston meet up. She comes out of the car and then grabs your kid:

    Me: oh hi mrs. Tennismonkey
Girl: oh heck no. *shifting kid quickly to other arm* that's his wife [nervous laugh]
Mrs tennismonkey: *polite geisha like wave*

P.s. this is back when you little kid was Godzilla in pic sizes and gerber baby material.

    /the end

went to crisfield a year ago. i hope they are still around. it still looks like it probably looked in 1950. the beer was still served in really small child glasses. but most importantly the bisque was still so thick you could plant a spoon in it like you were claiming it for england.

the tennismonkey is mormon. i have many wives. it's not all that great. i just have more women telling me what to do and why i'm not doing what i'm doing correctly.

if any of you are single in the TWMAC -- stay single forever. marriage and kids? overrated. drinking/partying/eating out/sleeping in? highly underrated.

Topaz, you and I should still be able to play 3.5. LOL.....

I have a pair in the closet (regular Speed Pro) that are next in the rotation. When I first put them on (to ensure they fit), they felt very, very comfortable.

My 1st pair of Prestige Pros wore out & I sent them back (6 month durability). They sent me back a pair of Speed Pro Lites (orange & black). I haven't put them into the rotation yet either, but like the original Speed Pros, they felt real comfy.

Fit was dead on for both.

    Not a fan.

Fot one they call them speed pro. Diadora made the speed pro and it was awesome. This head shoe is no speed pro.

But I get it its only 50 bucks. If you dont like them you can always give them to some homeless bumb.

Im really happy with my gel solution speeds, and the Lotto Raptors have not let me down.

I really intriqued by the New Balance 996's as well. Seem like they would be a good fit for me.

interesting site AQ/topaz. i should theoretically be allowed to play 4.0 in maryland where i am a 3.82. in nova i am a 4.03. also the ratings across the board for competition in maryland is much much lower than nova. which confirms what i think most of us see on the courts.

what's for lunch? it's friday and i want something super yum.

Sappy, CB, TM, Paulman - any suggestions for good sites for buying phone chargers? My original HTC charger fell apart and the cheap fakes my wife bought on amazon didn't even bother to steal the specs for a real micro-usb cord from the factories where they make the real chargers - they work, but the micor-usb adapter is a bit too small to get a reliable connection.

Trying to avoid paying an arm and a leg to sprint ($30-$40) for a charger? Get serious!

wookie -- i've bought a dozen or so generic chargers from the bay of fleas. for iphone and for android. they have all worked great and most are only a few bucks. i usually order many extras for my large mormon clan.

system of a downs -- i bought a blx tour 95 (2012) version and i'm looking at the blx six one team (16x18 ) as well. lighter, closer to even balance sticks. switched to semi-western fh. it feels weird but effective.

i'm off to lunch - i'm thinking indian today on metal prison trays.

    TMonk,

Your game reminds me very much of TF (God rest his soul)M's.

He used to be super sweet with some TFIghts he had. Maybe try those 315 LTD's. They got open and tight patterns. Matched withing 4gs and silicone in the handle. How can you go wrong with that. And its a bonus knowing I can swing them to comapre to mother of all sticks the techinwood400 or 365s. I cant remember who much they weigh, but its alot.

hw -- funny you mention the new tfights. they look intriguing. plus it might be the same mold as them old school janks. but i'm not a big fan of buying sticks full price. so i may wait a bit. i'm still trying sub 11 ounce wilsons at the moment.

lunch was kraze hawaiian burger with pineapple, sweet potato fries, strawberry milk shake. no JO but that woulda been sweet with the fries.

I can get you pics and specs of his racquet right now? Drakulie strung them up and has pics. Want them or maybe you can do a search?

If I steal his glasses, they are worth way more than a week of beer.

I'm stuck in traffic. I feel like Im back in DC! This is what you get when you ask a Fort Lauderdale local for a short cut.. next time ask a Miami local. FML!

I took some more time to look at this...is this something someone just put together? Because it doesn't seem to make sense. If I'm 3.41 I should still be a 3.5, right? (I only looked at the VA list, I did do better in MD).

And some people had the same number but different ratings. One 3.44 was a 3.5, and another 3.44 was a 4.0.

    *scratching head*

Damned Hoyas; ruined one side of my bracket, where I had them going to the Final Four. Who the heck is Florida Gulf Coast? Sounds like a tennis club.

But are you talking about the 996's? Or previous models.

Like Domino's Pizza. NB knows they have been less than spectacular and are now trying to resolve these issues. Give them a chance man.
