What socks do you generally use when you play tennis (brand, cut, color)?
I use Costco Head or Costco Puma socks (black and white)
How comfortable did you find this sock (cushioning)?
I found these socks to be very comfortable. It was not as loose as the Costco ones and not as tight as the Pumas, it was just right in fit. In terms of cushioning, it was not as cushioning as the Head ones (very thick) but much more cushioned than the Pumas. I would rate these socks as pretty good so far for cushioning as my feet do not hurt.
How would you rate the support of this sock?
I would rate the support of this sock an 8/10 as it grabs the arch of my foot giving a snug fit. Also, the sock never bunches up which I find irritating with the Heads.
After washing this sock, how durable did you find it (ie did it hold its shape after washing)?
Having washed it once in a washing machine, it still held its shape and feels the same
What were your thoughts on the cosmetics (look) of this sock?
I liked how it was similar to the Nike Elite look. Now, if TW had more colors and styles they got a keeper! :)
List any additional thoughts on ventilation, material, and fit of this sock
The ventilation works very well as my foot felt very breathable. Material was great in the aspect of comfortability and ventilation, much better than cotton socks imo. The fit of the sock was perfect for my feet. I hope there is no change here! Size 12
Likes and dislikes of the sock
    Likes: cosmetics, fit, ventilation
Dislikes: I usually like to wear thick socks for matches so it felt a little "loose" in my shoes as they are thin
Discuss the overall performance of this sock
The overall performance of this sock was an 8/10 for me. Even with all the likes about it the fact that it was loose in my shoe made me a little slower on the court. As a player with an emphasis on speed, this was a real downside for me. I was wearing Adidas Barricade 8s and the shoes shook around.

Here is video of my playing in them (if you can see it haha)

I've seen worse. Once had a teammate that placed his foot 2-3 inches on the baseline before serving.

    TW Fitsock Crew Sock

What socks do you generally use when you play tennis (brand, cut, color)? Nike Dri-Fit crew black or white, Puma crew socks black
How comfortable did you find this sock (cushioning)?
These socks are really comfortable. It wasnt too thick that i didnt feel the feel the insoles, nor too thin enough that it would rip easily from my aggressive dragging. it's right in the middle for me.
How would you rate the support of this sock?
i feel it has enough support that i dont feel the sock sliding around my foot. it snugs the arches really nicely. 9/10
After washing this sock, how durable did you find it (ie did it hold its shape after washing)?
After i washed it, it retains it's shape. Though the feel wasnt the same as it new. however, the comfort and support wasnt gone by the first wash.
What were your thoughts on the cosmetics (look) of this sock?
When i got it from the package, it's really nice looking. love the cosmetics on the arches. the design is somewhat similar to a Nike Elite sock. but I think this one takes my pick.
List any additional thoughts on ventilation, material, and fit of this sock Ventilation was great, i can feel the cool are entering to the sock and gives a nice cool breeze. The material is comparable to the puma. the fit is perfect. the fit didnt change after the wash.
Likes and dislikes of the sock
    Likes: Ventilation, cosmetics, support
Dislikes: wish the length was a bit shorter. I dont have more of it
Discuss the overall performance of this sock
A nice performance socks. this got my attention. Almost played like my socks that i usually wear. but i think these slightly did better. just wish the length is like the puma because i dont want it too look like i'm wearing a long soccer socks. overall, i'm happy with it wearing these with my pink vapors or any black shoes. these socks shine on them. 9.5/10

For those who got the socks, did both of them have the letter "L" on it?

I went to the website for the socks (http://www.fitsok.com/) and they claim:

    ANATOMICAL FOOT
Left-Right foot construction allows for a precise fit.

Just wondering if the "L" meant left or large, haha. Doesn't look to me like the sock is for a particular foot so just asking.

    Thanks TW!

EDIT: TW's website has some other Fitsoks for sale and it says there that it's the size that's printed on the sock.

There was a "L" on the socks. I thought it was for a specific side. But it has on both.

    JDMasFCK's Review

What socks do you generally use when you play tennis (brand, cut, color)?
I usually use the black quarter cut Nike Dri Fit socks

How comfortable did you find this sock (cushioning)?
These were REALLY comfortable. They are A LOT lighter then the Nike Dri Fit socks. The cushioning was mediocre. I liked how it was cushioned at the forefoot and heel, although a little bit of cushioning would be nice. The fit was perfect.

How would you rate the support of this sock?
I would rate these socks 9/10. They were A LOT lighter then what I was used to but didn't offer as much cushioning as I would have liked. The material used to create the socks helped make it breathable.

After washing this sock, how durable did you find it (ie did it hold its shape after washing)?
It stayed the same after I washed it. It didn't shrink, and the durability stayed the same.

What were your thoughts on the cosmetics (look) of this sock?
The socks looks great! It sort of looks like the Nike Elite socks.

List any additional thoughts on ventilation, material, and fit of this sock
The ventilation was SUPERB! It was really breathable when I wore it and my feet weren't heating up at all. I like how the material was really light which added to the breathability of the socks. The fit was snug, it wasn't too tight or too loose, it was perfect.

Likes and dislikes of the sock
I really like how the socks were light and breathable I also liked the aesthetics of the socks. I dislike how the forefoot and heel had a little bit of cushioning.

Discuss the overall performance of this sock
Overall I would rate these socks 9/10. They are AMAZING in terms of breathability and lightness. The socks remained cool all throughout the day and I didn't experience any discomfort at all. The fit was superb, it wrapped around my foot nicely and it wasn't loose or tight at all. The aesthetics were nice, and I liked how it sort of resembled the Nike Elite socks. The only thing I didn't like about this sock was that it lacked cushioning on the forefoot and heel. I can see that this may cause an issue later down the road since I tend to wear those two places out first. Other than that these are some awesome socks! Great job guys!

    Just got my test socks.....

If it doesn't rain in the AM they will get a workout....if not soon.

Tough competition here for the socks, I rotate 3 pair of Thorlo tennis specific socks exclusively.

Thanks so much for the socks, look forward to a hit with them!

glad i wasn't the only one!

got the sock and wondered how I was going to playtest them since I don't have 2 left feet. after a few seconds, it dawned on me. the L indicates the size.

What socks do you generally use when you play tennis (brand, cut, color)? i wear Head Power Cushion crew socks from Costco (white), Puma quarter high socks from Costco (black or white), adidas ankle high socks from Costco (black or white), Prince tennis socks (white), Nike Dri-Fit socks (white)

How comfortable did you find this sock (cushioning)? extremely comfortable! excellent support, absolutely no bunching, great ventilation, soft feeling likely due to nice tight weave (high thread count?)

How would you rate the support of this sock? The support of the Fitsok is fantastic. it feels like a compression sock which initially concerned me that it might cut off circulation after awhile like a rubber band around the wrist - nothing initially, but after 30 mins, your hand starts to turn blue and purple.

After washing this sock, how durable did you find it (ie did it hold its shape after washing)? washed them 3x. absolutely no pilling yet and they hold shape fine. gotta say that durability is excellent.

What were your thoughts on the cosmetics (look) of this sock? IMO, they look great! additionally, my hitting partner noticed and commented that they looked really good.

List any additional thoughts on ventilation, material, and fit of this sock great ventilation. i generally prefer socks higher in cotton content so was worried i might not like these at all. when i put them on, i noticed they definitely had a different feel than cotton rich socks, but quickly got used to it. also because these had the feel of compression socks, i was a bit concerned that they would feel constricting after awhile. after playing in them for 2 hrs, they felt great. my feet normally don't sweat much anyways, but these socks kept my feet cooler and drier than usual. the compression didn't leave any marks on my lower leg.

Likes and dislikes of the sock love the high quality looks, fit and feel. i did find the sock to be a bit on the thinner side so they weren't as cushioned as i prefer. also, because i generally wear a sock thicker than these, even though i cinched up my laces tighter, my shoes were still a little looser than normal.

Discuss the overall performance of this socka VERY GOOD sock that would be even GREAT if it were thicker under the heel and forefoot to provide more cushioning and comfort. make these changes and i would buy! as is, it's great sock for those who prefer to wear thinner socks.

Thank you, TW, for the opportunity to playtest! :)

What socks do you generally use when you play tennis
I pretty much always use the nike elites. sometimes I will use the run elites if I am just doing a light hit. color does not matter to me so much.

How comfortable did you find this sock (cushioning)?
the sock was pretty comfortable. I played for four hours today, and my feet still felt fresh for the most part as they did in any other sock. the tw fitsock mesh type material allowed for good breath-ability.

How would you rate the support of this sock?
Support was decent, but it was not on par with the elites for me. the elites have that little extra material on the heel which is really nice. If I where to make this my sock of choice for tennis, I would most likely double up and where two pairs to get that extra support.

What were your thoughts on the cosmetics (look) of this sock?
the look of the sock was actually pretty good. kind of mimics the nike elites with the little strip on the back of the foot. black is cool as well as it hides dirt better.

After washing this sock, how durable did you find it (ie did it hold its shape after washing)?
sock seems to be in good shape after washing with warm water in a university industrial washing machine.

List any additional thoughts on ventilation, material, and fit of this sock
ventilation was good, the dryfit type stuff keeps my feet from sweating. the fit of the sock was also perfect.

Likes and dislikes of the sock
likes- lightweight and breathes well. my feet where dry the whole time. dislikes- does not have as much support as the elites. in the heel and bottom area specifically.

Discuss the overall performance of this sock
In conclusion, I would rate this sock an eight out of ten. I would consider making these my go to socks, if they where priced less than elites, as I would buy double the amount, because I would wear two pair for the extra support for tough match play. If I was just doing some light match play, they are pretty good. overall it was a nice sock.

thanks for the opportunity to play test TW. much appreciated.

    Top notch sock!

What socks do you generally use when you play tennis (brand, cut, color)?
    Thorlo crew

How comfortable did you find this sock (cushioning)?
Completely different experience for me from the Thorlo I have worn for likely 10 yr at least. I expected to test em and switch after a couple of points today....kept em on the whole match! Outstanding! These will really shine with a new pair of shoes....and I will likely buy a couple pair to go with my next shoe purchase....black shoes of course!

How would you rate the support of this sock? The support of the Fitsok great. Again very different than what I am used to.

After washing this sock, how durable did you find it
    TBA on this....

What were your thoughts on the cosmetics (look) of this sock? Sharp!

List any additional thoughts on ventilation, material, and fit of this sock
Solid product performed as advertised, nice! Might suggest offering in a lower cut style too, but I would continue to buy as presented.....

Likes and dislikes of the sock love the high quality looks, fit and feel.
No concerns, top notch. These might be pretty cool for my road bike shoes too!!

Discuss the overall performance of this sock.
Very surprised I liked these based on my normal choice of sock.... If TW hits the right price point with these I think you will have a winner! If priced right I will order a couple of pair with my next purchase.

Thank you, TW, for the opportunity to playtest this new product!

    Fitsok Review

What socks do you generally use when you play tennis (brand, cut, color)? I usually play with Nike crew socks with Hanes low cut socks as the first layer. I have also used injinits and wrightsocks as the first layers to prevent blister. The nike crew socks are usually in white or black.

How comfortable did you find this sock (cushioning)? The socks felt a bit stiff putting them on due to the arch support and the engineered heel fit. However, once I put them on I could not take them off. It kept my feet feel cool and dry. I almost did not want to use them for my tennis game. I played three sets today with only these socks and it felt excellent. Definitely would love to buy more.

How would you rate the support of this sock? I have superfeet insoles, but these socks felt very supportive and I did not experience any bunching around the toes which was amazing for me.

After washing this sock, how durable did you find it (ie did it hold its shape after washing)? It felt very durable, and it showed no signs of breaking down.

What were your thoughts on the cosmetics (look) of this sock? It felt very sleek and I did like the TW initial on the back of the socks.

Pros: All around socks that will provide comfort and keep your feet dry. I felt my feet had grip, not the usual sliding in my shoes. Aesthetically, it looks pretty cool. I definitely look forward to buying a couple more socks. No more double layer socks for me!

Cons: It is a bit pricey for a two pack of socks. Other than that, I am excited for the dryer to be finished with my socks so I could wear them again.

    Upon first wear:

This sock is perfectly thin, as in not too thick nor thin. It seems fairly supportive and breathable and a nice changeup from my normal nikes. I will post a full review after getting to play in them! :)

Got mine over the weekend, but I wasn't home so I just opened them today. Taking the day off today since I played 5 matches over the weekend.

First Impressions though; Very nice quality. I'm very impressed. I just slipped them on, and they felt great. Like many review stated, ventilation is great.
    Full review coming tomorrow!

Thanks TW for including me in this.

What socks do you generally use when you play tennis (brand, cut, color)?
I typically play with cotton Nike crew socks (white) and if I'm lucky i can snag a pair of my brother's dri-fits.

How comfortable did you find this sock (cushioning)?
For how thin it was I found it to be more than cushioning enough. I typically find that any lack of comfort from a shoe will simply NOT be remedied by a sock unless it is a thorlo pillow sock.

How would you rate the support of this sock?
Like above, I found it to be fantastically supportive but it wont fix any lack of support from a shoe. But from the socks standpoint it is 10/10

After washing this sock, how durable did you find it (ie did it hold its shape after washing)?
Mine shrunk a little but it comes back to regular size upon wearing it

What were your thoughts on the cosmetics (look) of this sock?
I like the fact that the detail is grey. It makes matching more easy with many shoes. People always ask about what TW stands for... i get to give them the shpeal about how its the greatest site on the net! Expect a few more customers guys ;)

List any additional thoughts on ventilation, material, and fit of this sock
Good price for a premium sock. I hope it withstands the test of time. As a thinner sock, you get the good ventilation that you'd expcet with this one

Likes and dislikes of the sock
My only knock is that TW didn't send me a white one ;) But like I said if it maintains structure and form over many washes it'll be a great addition to my sock drawer.

Discuss the overall performance of this sock
I think I said all i could about a sock haha

THANKS TW. I like the prices you guys put on your home brand products and this is right up there with those sweet $10 heathered shirts you guys sell

    Fitsock Crew Sock Review

What socks do you generally use when you play tennis (brand, cut, color)?
Nike Dri-fit cushion crew (white, black, navy)

How comfortable did you find this sock (cushioning)?
Comfort was good. This is a perfect "thinner" sock for shoes with a tighter fit. Slightly slimmer and less cushioned than the Nike socks I usually wear.

How would you rate the support of this sock?
Normal, wasn't super tight but the shoe does all the work anyway.

After washing this sock, how durable did you find it (ie did it hold its shape after washing)?
Great durability, held its shape and appearance well. Typical of high polyester count socks

Thanks TW and Fitsock for the playtest opportunity

What were your thoughts on the cosmetics (look) of this sock?
Nice looking sock, resembles nike elite socks. only [minor] complaint is that the grey stripes on the top of the can be seen from my shoes when i look down.

List any additional thoughts on ventilation, material, and fit of this sock
Excellent ventilation, noticeably better than Nike Dri-fit cushion crew i'm currently wearing. Fit and material were also great. Cushioning was a little thinner but the tradeoff was that the feet felt cooler.

Likes and dislikes of the sock
I really liked this sock. The toe seam on mine were even less noticeable than the Nikes I currently wear. No real dislikes, maybe they are slightly shorter than the Nike crew socks.

Discuss the overall performance of this sock
Performance was great, put through one wash and they performed just as well the second time. Similar to the Nike Dri-fit crew except that they have better ventilation but slightly less cushion. Will definitely consider purchasing this sock in the future.

How comfortable did you find this sock (cushioning)?
The cushioning was great. I found the cushioning level to be higher than my usual socks.

How would you rate the support of this sock?
The support level was very good. This aspect was also superior to my other socks.

After washing this sock, how durable did you find it (ie did it hold its shape after washing)?
I noticed no difference in shape or performance after washing the sock.

What were your thoughts on the cosmetics (look) of this sock?
I like the cosmetics. The stripe up the back is a nice touch and the TW is understated enough so that it doesn't look cheesy/tacky.

List any additional thoughts on ventilation, material, and fit of this sock
The ventilation wasn't the greatest but it was adequate. I feel like this was the weak point of these socks but it could also be because I'm used to wearing quarter length.

Likes and dislikes of the sock
    Likes: Cosmetics, Durability, Support, Comfort.

Dislikes: Not much other than the ventilation but it's a minor gripe and, as mentioned before, potentially related to being a crew vs. a quarter type.

Discuss the overall performance of this sock
This is an excellent sock overall and I'd definitely recommend it to my friends. I could see these being my go-to winter socks if the price is less than $4 per pair (the 3-pack of the Adidas socks I wear is $11.99 here at TW).

Thanks a lot for the opportunity!

--What socks do you generally use when you play tennis (brand, cut, color)?

I typically use Nike Dri Fit ankle socks (black).

--How comfortable did you find this sock (cushioning)?

I thought this was a very comfortable sock. I like the thin feel that it gives me. It gives me an almost barefoot feel to the shoe which is what is ideal to me!

--How would you rate the support of this sock?

I would give the support a 10/10 rating. In the past I have had some issues of slippage in my shoes with certain sock brands, but definitely not these!

--After washing this sock, how durable did you find it (ie did it hold its shape after washing)?

This is a very durable sock. It holds its shape extremely well, and so far it hasn't "loosened up" at all!

--What were your thoughts on the cosmetics (look) of this sock?

Good looking sock! A bit similar to Nike Elite with the back vertical line, but all in all, very good looking!

--List any additional thoughts on ventilation, material, and fit of this sock

Overall, a very comfortable and lightweight material. Also, very breathable! I have very sweaty feet but these socks help with the ventilation a lot!

--Likes and dislikes of the sock

As stated above, I couldn't really find any dislikes about this sock. Not too thick, and very breathable. That makes for a great sock for me!

**I will definitely be purchasing more. Thanks for the playtest opportunity Tennis Warehouse!

What socks do you generally use when you play tennis (brand, cut, color)?
I typically play with cotton Nike crew socks only white and occasionally elites in blue.

How comfortable did you find this sock (cushioning)?
This sock was very thin but I found it to have lots of cushioning. Not as much as elites but similar to Nike Crews

How would you rate the support of this sock?
I usually don't think that my socks have alot of support but these did and it was my favorite part of them.

After washing this sock, how durable did you find it (ie did it hold its shape after washing)?
The appearance was fine and it didn't seem to lose any cushioning in the wash.

What were your thoughts on the cosmetics (look) of this sock?
I liked the fact that the socks are very suddle but still had the Tw logo. Other than that they looked like a normal sock nothing fancy like elites on it.

List any additional thoughts on ventilation, material, and fit of this sock
Great price for a sock that is made of high quality material. Vented my feet well and my feet sweat a ton.

Likes and dislikes of the sock
The only dislike I had was that it was black but that can be fixed by buying the white one. No dislikes other than that.

Discuss the overall performance of this sock
Overall a 8.5/10 just because they were black. The performance was good and I will look forward to wearing them in the future.
Thanks TW for the great opportunity.

I got my socks on monday and decided to try the socks the next day with a two hour hitting session and a workout session right afterwards. The following is my review on these socks.

What socks do you generally use when you play tennis (brand, cut, color)?

I have a wide variety of socks. Nike Elite, Nike Elite 2.0, Nike Drifit, Adidas Climalite, and Gold Toe Socks. My favorite by far is the Nike elite for its cushioning and comfort but I enjoy wearing my other socks as well. I prefer high socks.

How comfortable did you find this sock (cushioning)?
The Socks were fairly comfortable but I definitely noticed how thin it was compared to my nike elite socks. I prefer more cushioning because my feet tend to slide around when my socks are not thick enough. However for such a thin sock it was fairly comfortable. I would give the comfort a 7.5/10.

How would you rate the support of this sock?
I would rate the support pretty mediocre. Its support is comparable to my gold toe socks but it definitely cannot be compared to the support of the compression fit socks of nike elite socks. 7.5/10

After washing this sock, how durable did you find it (ie did it hold its shape after washing)?
After washing the socks, the socks held its structure well and did not seem to have any loose thread which was a plus

What were your thoughts on the cosmetics (look) of this sock?
I do like the look of the socks in the foot area. However as you move up the leg, the I start disliking the design. On the back of the socks below the TW there is a grey bar. Not sure if it served any purpose but certainly didnt help the aesthetic of the socks. I prefer if they kept it more simple and did not include that grey box. It seem like a desperate attempt to copy the nike elite socks design at the back. 7/10

List any additional thoughts on ventilation, material, and fit of this sock
This is the section that surprised me the most. Most of the time my feet get extra hot because i prefer thicker socks. These socks definitely ventilate better than most. In fact I think i prefer the fit of these socks more than any other socks I have before. 9.5/10

Likes and dislikes of the sock
Likes: Fit, material, design, after wash
    Dislikes: Lack Cushioning, design, support
    Overall 8/10

Discuss the overall performance of this sock
I believe these socks are excellent socks when you know you will not be running your hardest. These seem best during a practice hitting session. They did not give me enough support and cushioning when I'm running hard while playing an intense match. However, they definitely breathe well and fit well.Nike drifit are only 5 dollars per pair and these are 4 dollars so they are my most comparable options. I would say these socks are a little worse than the black nike drifit socks that I have. Although the review seems harsh, this is my honest opinion..

Thank you TennisWarehouse for letting me review these socks!

What socks do you generally use when you play tennis (brand, cut, color)?
Nike Elite and Nike Dri-Fit Crew socks.
How comfortable did you find this sock (cushioning)?
I think this is the one of the few negatives about the sock. They seemed pretty thin, and when compressed- they got even thinner. But, once I doubled up- they were amazing.
How would you rate the support of this sock?
Never really had problem with support for socks. These did fit my feet very well though.
After washing this sock, how durable did you find it (ie did it hold its shape after washing)?
Just some ruffling on the heel, but it definitely didn't shrink at all.
What were your thoughts on the cosmetics (look) of this sock?
Quality of A++, my only complaint are the cosmetics of the stripe and the logo. IMO, the stripe is kind of just "there". I don't think it structurally affects anything. I would MUCH rather prefer the logo to be on the side.
List any additional thoughts on ventilation, material, and fit of this sock
Likes and dislikes of the sock
Nice quality like already stated. Good price. Superb Fit for me. Only dislikes are the thinness and the stripe.
Discuss the overall performance of this sock

Ventilation was very very good. Usually my elites or drifits have sweat near where the tongue of the shoe would be. I felt very cool in these, and I don't think any sweat was soaked into the sock.

    Thanks TW for including me!

What socks do you generally use when you play tennis (brand, cut, color)?
I usually wear crew Nike Dri Fit socks

How comfortable did you find this sock (cushioning)?
Overall the socks were comfortable and the fit was good. The cushioning was average compared to the Nike Dri Fit socks I wear. I would prefer more cushioning in the forefoot and heel.

How would you rate the support of this sock?
I would rate the support 9/10. The sock definitely fits well on the foot and snugs your arch well without being uncomfortable. You did not feel any sock movement when playing.

After washing this sock, how durable did you find it (ie did it hold its shape after washing)?
The socks stayed the same after the one wash. They didn't shrink and the fit/durability was the same as my first wear when they were new.

What were your thoughts on the cosmetics (look) of this sock?
The socks looks very good. They remind me of the Nike Elite socks. They would look great with other color combinations.

List any additional thoughts on ventilation, material, and fit of this sock
For my foot size/shape the fit was snug but not too snug that it was uncomfortable. Being thinner than my normal socks I did need to lace my shoes tighter to keep my feet from moving. My feet never felt too hot because of the great ventilation. The breathability of these socks is great. The sock overall is very light compared to my normal Nike Dri Fit socks.

Likes and dislikes of the sock
I liked the breathability and lightness of the socks. Cosmetics are cool being like the Nike Elites. My only dislike is the lack of cushioning in the forefoot and heel.

Discuss the overall performance of this sock
Overall I would rate these socks 9/10. Very good fit, breathability and cosmetics. The socks are thinner than my usual socks but that can be addressed by lacing my shoes tighter. The only thing I didn't like about this sock was that it lacked cushioning in the forefoot and heel.

Thank you for the opportunity to participate.

What socks do you generally use when you play tennis (brand, cut, color)?
Nike Elite Crews, Asics Hydrology, or Nike Tennis Socks.

How comfortable did you find this sock (cushioning)?
They were pretty comfortable. Not as much cushion as the Elites or Nike Tennis socks, but a little more than the Asics.

How would you rate the support of this sock?
Not bad. Good compression. Did not slide around at all when wet or dry, either.
After washing this sock, how durable did you find it (ie did it hold its shape after washing)?
I did not notice any different after washing once.

What were your thoughts on the cosmetics (look) of this sock?
The black with grey stripe was nice. A little plain, but not bad at all. Wearable with most anything.

List any additional thoughts on ventilation, material, and fit of this sock:
I really liked them. They felt a bit too synthetic, like the asics in a respect, but not unbearable. My feet were quite dry after 2 hours of hitting and sprints, so that was nice too.

Likes and dislikes of the sock
They were breathable and compression was great. Cushioning could be better. I would probably wear 2 pair of these.

Discuss the overall performance of this sock:
Really quite nice. Good fit and compression along with moisture management makes for a good offering, especially when looking for a thinner sock.

Thank you for the playtest, TW!

What socks do you generally use when you play tennis (brand, cut, color)? Thorlo TX3 Crew and Mini-Crew (for hardcourt play); Nike Dri-Fit Elite Crew (for Har-Tru play)

How comfortable did you find this sock (cushioning)? This sock is not as thick as my normal tennis socks. I was aware of the difference, however, during play, I was not bothered by the lesser cushioning.

How would you rate the support of this sock? 6/10 (Thorlo TX3 10/10; Nike Elite 8/10)

After washing this sock, how durable did you find it (ie did it hold its shape after washing)? The socks have kept their shape after two washings.

What were your thoughts on the cosmetics (look) of this sock? Not a fan of black athletic socks. However, I do like the design – would like a white sock with a variety of color options. Initially, I thought the ‘L’ on each sock indicated ‘left’ as all of my other ‘foot-specific’ socks have an ‘L’ and an ‘R’.

List any additional thoughts on ventilation, material, and fit of this sock: I measured the TW sock and the Nike Elite sock (both before first wear and/or wash). The TW sock is 2” shorter. The Nike Elite is a thicker sock and feels better on my feet.

Likes and dislikes of the sock: I prefer a sock with more padding in the foot, but this isn’t a bad sock. Depending on the price of this sock, I imagine many players will prefer it to more expensive offerings.

Discuss the overall performance of this sock: I think this sock is okay for tennis. Players that prefer to wear two pairs of socks will like the thickness of the TW sock.

    Fitsock Rocks

This is a review for the TW Fitsock. I was chosen to give this sock a run for its money during the first two weeks of September (Thanks TW, it is my first time so be kind).

What socks do you generally use when you play tennis (brand, cut, color)?
I usually wear whatever is available in my sock drawer. I am a cyclist so they are generally cycling-specific. The color is nearly always black or grey. The cut is LOW. I haven't worn crew socks since "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" was in theaters.
How comfortable did you find this sock (cushioning)?
This was an awesome sock. The cushioning was indescribable. Compared to the wafer-thin cycling I usually wear, these were like foot slippers. I played in them three times on hardcourts in 100 degree plus heat and they never left me wanting an insole.
How would you rate the support of this sock?
Very supportive. My feet never felt tired. I played in them without a Superfeet insole just to see what would happen, and I loved the support.
After washing this sock, how durable did you find it (ie did it hold its shape after washing)?
Held its shape very well. Cushioning didn't change and the support didn't waver. But the heel did begin piling after third wash and wear.
What were your thoughts on the cosmetics (look) of this sock?
This was my favorite part. I felt that they looked great and will pick up additional pairs. I love black socks and the crew height was not a problem. In fact, they helped with ankle compression. My son, who wears Nike Drifit only, is VERY jealous of the Fitsock.
List any additional thoughts on ventilation, material, and fit of this sock.
My feet stayed cool throughout. No hot spots or blisters. The material was light, but compressive. Fit was a little snugger than the XL I would buy, but I loved these socks.
Likes and dislikes of the sock
All likes. See above. I liked the fit, compression, support and length. Disliked the appearance of piling after three washes.
Discuss the overall performance of this sock
As a high school teacher, I like to grade things. I give these an A. They performed so well that I want to buy more. They are perfect for Phoenix' hardcourts.

What socks do you generally use when you play tennis (brand, cut, color)?
Various, not particularly loyal to any specific brand of sock, right now I’m using Asics LT quarter white.

How comfortable did you find this sock (cushioning)?
I found the cushioning to be good for a sport breathable sock, comparable to my usual socks.

How would you rate the support of this sock?
The support level was great, better than many other socks I’ve worn. I really liked the support of these socks.

After washing this sock, how durable did you find it (ie did it hold its shape after washing)?
So far the sock has held up very well after the initial washing, no noticeable difference in shape or feel.

What were your thoughts on the cosmetics (look) of this sock?
I really liked the cosmetics. The accents were nice. I tested the crew length, but usually wear shorter socks. Hopefully, other styles will be available and look as good.

List any additional thoughts on ventilation, material, and fit of this sock.
I thought ventilation was good. Even though I usually wear quarter length, I found the crew length to allow adequate ventilation.

Likes and dislikes of the sock.

    Likes: Support and fit.

Dislikes: Would like it to be slightly thicker in the heal.

Discuss the overall performance of this sock,
Honestly I was very skeptical when initially signing up for the play test. I thought I would receive a cheaper generic, poor performing sample. I’m happy to say it was quite the opposite and I was very pleased with the quality of TW Fitsock. Overall I found it to be an excellent sock and very comparable to the name brand competition. If it comes in a quarter or low cut version, I will definitely consider purchasing.

What socks do you generally use when you play tennis (brand, cut, color)?
I usually use a sock I get from Target. It's the breathable athletic sock and I always wear "no-show" cut. In either white or black.

How comfortable did you find this sock (cushioning)?
They comfort/cushioning of this sock was the best I have ever felt. These felt great on my feet and performed well during play. I liked these socks so much that I wore them for non tennis days. I wear dress socks M-Th and casual socks on Friday. For 2 weeks I wore these TW socks on Friday because I enjoyed the feel so much. I live in Central California where its still 100 degrees +. These socks were great to wear on a long day. My feet were ventilated and supported. I loved these socks for tennis and I'm considering buying some for my casual wear as well.

How would you rate the support of this sock?
I loved the fit. The socks I usually wear for tennis are a bit thin and I realized after I wore the TW socks how unsupported my former socks are. The TW sock made me feel confident in my movement. No slipping and with bad ankles that is a plus!

After washing this sock, how durable did you find it (ie did it hold its shape after washing)?
No issue with the sock after washing. When I first got them I was concerned they might be too small, but they were and still are perfect.

What were your thoughts on the cosmetics (look) of this sock?
They look great. I'm used to a no-show style so the cut isnt my favorite but as far as the look and cosmetics I think they are great. I like the greyish accents.

List any additional thoughts on ventilation, material, and fit of this sock
Loved the extra cushion in the toe and heel area. The fit throughout was perfect. Ventilation was a major positive living where I am. I felt very cool in this sock as far as ventilation.

Likes and dislikes of the sock
    +ventilation
    +look
    +support

-cut (just not my style for tennis) + (will be using as a casual sock)

Discuss the overall performance of this sock
Performed great. 9/10. Near perfect sock just not my favorite cut. Will be buying some for sure though!

What socks do you generally use when you play tennis (brand, cut, color)? Puma ankle high socks

How comfortable did you find this sock (cushioning)?
I found these socks to be very comfertable with the right amount of cushioning as not to feel bulky in the shoes.

How would you rate the support of this sock?
So far these would get a 10 as far a support compared to socks I have worn in the past. ( I have never spent to much money on socks usually just what the wife gets on sale).

After washing this sock, how durable did you find it (ie did it hold its shape after washing)?
After three washings they have held their shape very well

What were your thoughts on the cosmetics (look) of this sock?
The socks look great I recieved a lot of comments on the socks.

List any additional thoughts on ventilation, material, and fit of this sock
The socks fit very well almost like a compression sock but not near as tight. I could not tell much diffrence in regards to ventilation and I really enjoyed the material of the socks and overall it felt like an expensive pair of socks

Likes and dislikes of the sock
    No dislikes just likes

Discuss the overall performance of this sock
The overall performance would be a 10/10 compared to any other cheap sock out there. This is my first pair of nice socks I have played tennis in and I may consider buying a few more pairs. The socks form to the feet well stay in place with no movement and feel great.

    TW Fitsock Crew Sock

What socks do you generally use when you play tennis (brand, cut, color)?
Puma ankle sock, white and Head Long, white.

How comfortable did you find this sock (cushioning)?
Very comfortable. It fits really well. I got the size of large and it fits perfectly and do not feel too big for me.

How would you rate the support of this sock? Support is great. I very very comfortable after 2 hours of hard hitting session. No compliant at all. No blister or anything, actually I do not feel anything wrong with the foot at all. Compare to other socks I wear, I will normally notice something is wrong with the foot after such session, either blister or some sort of pain.

After washing this sock, how durable did you find it (ie did it hold its shape after washing)? I am very happy with the durability as well. Only used few times but I do not see much of problem for the sock to last long time. It holds up its shape good.

What were your thoughts on the cosmetics (look) of this sock? I like the cosmetic a lot. My other socks are all either all white or black. This gives a change and looks nice too.

List any additional thoughts on ventilation, material, and fit of this sock Like the good support of this sock, I do not feel any problem with ventilation, material or fits. I find this sock is quite impressive. It is not as thick as the head sock I have used, but I do not miss the thickness. fits well and ventilate well. I feel the sock is still dry after 2 hours of no stop hitting.

Likes and dislikes of the sock I like this sock a lot. There is nothing I dislike. If TW can give choice of ankle cut or white color, it will be great.

Discuss the overall performance of this sock Overall, I would rate this sock very high over the one I have used before. Probably because the material it used, it does not feel too wet after few hours of tennis. It also support well.

Thanks tw for the play testing.

    TW Fitsock Crew Sock Review

What socks do you generally use when you play tennis (brand, cut, color)?
I generally use either black Hanes crew cut socks or black Nike dri-fit socks.

How comfortable did you find this sock (cushioning)?
I liked the feel of this sock. While it was on the thinner side it felt comfortable all three times I went to play with it. I didn't have any sore points or blisters after playing.

How would you rate the support of this sock?
I loved the snug fit of this sock. Some socks that fit snugly are also a pain to put on, but this sock was a breeze to slide onto my foot and fit like a glove (or a sock).

After washing this sock, how durable did you find it (ie did it hold its shape after washing)?
The sock held its shape excellently after being washed. It still had the same snug fit when I went to put it on.

What were your thoughts on the cosmetics (look) of this sock?
I typically play with solid-colored socks but I actually thought the cosmetics on this sock looked pretty snazzy. It was a nice change-up to what I normally wear.

List any additional thoughts on ventilation, material, and fit of this sock
I thought the ventilation was a strong point of this sock. Being on the thinner side the material still felt nice and it kept my feet cool. The seams and overall design felt comfortable.

Likes and dislikes of the sock
I like that the sock fits well and is easy to put on, no bothersome seams or anything. The ventilation is also a strong point, it kept my feet cooler than others socks I've used in the past. The design pattern of the sock was neat.

I didn't really have any dislikes but being a thinner sock those with uncomfortable shoes might want to be a bit wary, but this was not an issue for me.

Discuss the overall performance of this sock
I thought the ventilation was great and my feet felt cool & comfortable over the three hitting sessions that I used these socks in. Even after washing twice the socks still fit snugly and were as good as before. I was overall very impressed with this sock, zero complaints.

    Fit sock play test

    TW Fitsock Crew Sock
What socks do you generally use when you play tennis (brand, cut, color)? I use a super thin either Nike Shox no show sock under Nike dryfit crew, or Adidas climalite no show under Adidas climalite crew.

How comfortable did you find this sock (cushioning)?
These socks are quite comfortable. They have the added thickness at only the right spots or potential friction points.
How would you rate the support of this sock.
They seem to offer adequate support.

After washing this sock, how durable did you find it (ie did it hold its shape after washing)?
After washing they seemed to retain their original shape, it seems as though the material will be durable, we will see how they hold up after multiple washings.

What were your thoughts on the cosmetics (look) of this sock?
I think the cosmetic it good, just a bit different but not too crazy, only part that I did not like was the TW logo. I don't mind a brand logo, just not into the retailer logo on the socks.

List any additional thoughts on ventilation, material, and fit of this sock Ventilation was great, fit was good. I actually used the socks on a long bike ride, one downside to the good ventilation was that when riding on a cool day, 59 degrees, my feet were quite cold, can't get everything in one pair of socks I guess! On the tennis court they performed very well. I was not optimistic about any single pair of socks on the court since I normally go with the thin sock, normal sock combo, but these work great, no blisters, cuts or abrasion after two hours of hitting.

Likes and dislikes of the sock
Likes: Ventilation, cosmetics, double thickness at potential abrasion points.
Dislikes: TW logo on the sock, other than that minor detail, no real dislikes.

Discuss the overall performance of this sock
An excellent performance sock, definately a cut above the normal retail sport or tennis sock. As an added feature they would be an outstanding multipurpose sock, good for cycling on warmer days, probably also very good for running as well, although I did not as yet have an opportunity to use them for running, I plan to do so in the near future.

    TW Fitsock Crew Sock

What socks do you generally use when you play tennis (brand, cut, color)?
Nike Dri-fit half cushion, black, crew

How comfortable did you find this sock (cushioning)?
It was comfortable, although thin when dry. When my feet began sweating however, it was extremely uncomfortable with my feet sliding all over inside my sock as though it was water on a tile surface.

How would you rate the support of this sock?
    Support is decent, nothing spectacular.

After washing this sock, how durable did you find it (ie did it hold its shape after washing)?
It did not show any noticeable differences after washing.

What were your thoughts on the cosmetics (look) of this sock?
Cosmetics were not the best, I highly dislike the TW along the back end of the sock rather than the side.

List any additional thoughts on ventilation, material, and fit of this sock
Did not absorb sweat at all.

Likes and dislikes of the sock
    Likes: snug fit
Dislikes: thin, foot slid around inside sock and no traction, sock kept retracting downwards

Discuss the overall performance of this sock
The sock was better than average until I began sweating. Once I began sweating i was not able to grip anything on the ground. My feet kept sliding inside the sock and it felt like my shoe was sliding more than it actually was due to the excessive sliding within the sock. It is not anywhere near the quality of Nike Dri fit half cushions once you begin sweating. 4/10

What socks do you generally use when you play tennis (brand, cut, color): Fitsok CF2 Quarter cut socks in Black

How comfortable did you find this sock (cushioning): Being familiar with the product Fitsok puts out, I knew what to expect. The crew sock has good cushion in the forefoot and heel. I did feel that it was a bit less cushioned than the CF2 version I usually wear. It felt like the tradeoff was a bit less cushion for more ventilation than the CF2 socks have. I still found plenty of comfort and thought that extra cushion could easily be picked up by wearing a pair of my CX3 Fitsok underneath.

How would you rate the support of this sock: Support was good. They provided a snug fit and I never felt like they were sliding on my feet at all. These socks have a good shape to them and have become a favorite of mine for their fit in the heel especially.

After washing this sock, how durable did you find it (ie did it hold its shape after washing): I found the durability to be very good. As with my other Fitsok CF2 socks, these held their shape great even after going through the wash about 6 times so far. No thin or wear spots yet either. I used the Adidas Formotion socks before switching to Fitsok and the durability difference is huge. My Adidas socks fell apart at the heel and forefoot while my Fitsok have been going strong. These socks provided great durability and the ability to hold their shape.

What were your thoughts on the cosmetics (look) of this sock: As most have said, this is a good looking sock. Shares a lot of similarities with the Nike socks. I like the look of both but the Fitsok price tag and performance will sway me every time.

List any additional thoughts on ventilation, material, and fit of this sock: Ventilation is quite good on these. I found them to have more breathability than the CF2 verisons I usually wear. The ventilated band around the mid foot allows the sock to breathe really easily. Materials have a nice feel to them and are pretty durable. Fit is snug and they don't loosen up under use.

Likes and dislikes of the sock
    LIKES: Fit, Ventilation, durability, cosmetic
DISLIKES: A lit less cushioned than I like but easily fixed with a pair of CX# socks underneath

Discuss the overall performance of this sock: This is a sock more people should look into. It offers great performance at a much better price point than Dri-Fit Elites. It has a great cosmetic that will appeal to Nike buyers as well. I am a fan of Fitsok and will definitely pick up some more of these based on looks and performance.

What socks do you generally use when you play tennis (brand, cut, color): I don't really have a set sock, but I'd have to say my favorite are the Nike Dri Fit Elites.

How comfortable did you find this sock (cushioning): I felt like the cushioning was ample and sufficient. It doesn't compare to the nike's i think but it's pretty soft overall. I was mainly wearing my B8's and I find i need some more cushioning as they are a little bigger on me. But overall good.

How would you rate the support of this sock: Support was also pretty good, socks fit my feet pretty well.

After washing this sock, how durable did you find it (ie did it hold its shape after washing): I never got a chance to wash my socks since I got them later in the playtest, but I have other TW Fitsoks and they usually hold up pretty well.

What were your thoughts on the cosmetics (look) of this sock: I think it's a pretty sleek looking sock. It's a nice black sock and it's quickly becoming one of my favorites.

List any additional thoughts on ventilation, material, and fit of this sock: The material is quite comfortable and fits well. I had no problem with ventilation, my feet never felt hot, in fact they always felt pretty comfy.

Likes and dislikes of the sock
I like pretty much everything the sock has to offer, but could just use some more cushioning like the dri fit elites.

Discuss the overall performance of this sock: I think this is an extremely great sock for the price it's offered at. Not a lot of performance socks like this for the price. 9/10

    TW Fitsok Review

What socks do you generally use when you play tennis (brand, cut, color)?
I have never used any tennis specific socks. For the most part, i use generic sports socks from nike, adidas, puma and the like. These I buy in a low cut as well. I do have 2 pairs of customized elite style crew socks, although they are not the best for tennis.
How comfortable did you find this sock (cushioning)?
Putting the sock on for the first time, I was amazed at how snug a fit I got. That being said, the socks do have a tremendous amount of cushioning. Taking my shoes off after playing, I was left with no foot pain or soreness. I would describe it as being very soft on your feet, but able to feel the ground.
How would you rate the support of this sock?
Since I got such a nice and awesome fit from the socks, I really noticed the support in the ankle. I felt like I could slide, and the socks kept my feet and ankles tight, reducing swelling.
After washing this sock, how durable did you find it (ie did it hold its shape after washing)?
I didnt notice any difference after washing the sock once. In fact, I wouldnt have been able to tell because the performance was exactly the same, if not better.
What were your thoughts on the cosmetics (look) of this sock?
The stripe on the back clearly mimics the design of nike elites, which is okay. The only thing that I dont really like is the fact that there is a giant TW at the top of the stripe. I'd much prefer the Fitsock logo, which I think is really cool.
List any additional thoughts on ventilation, material, and fit of this sock
While playing, I felt that the area around my toes was sweaty, but after I was done my feet were dry. The socks ventilated and kept me relatively cool; not as much as my thinner socks though.
Likes and dislikes of the sock
The socks perform amazing for tennis or even everyday wear. They hold my feet in properly, and feel like im wearing a sock and a quarter, perfect for support and protection against blisters. These socks are for the serious tennis player, and they look cool.
The one dislike I had was the TW logo, as I think that the triangle looking thing would be better at the top of the stripe.
Discuss the overall performance of this sock
This sock was the best sock I have ever worn. The cushioning, ventilation, support and looks were all there. Best of all, after one wash the sock still feels new, but time will tell after 20 washes if I can say the same. Additionally, the socks look cool, and i feel are worth the price

What socks do you generally use when you play tennis (brand, cut, color)?
Nike Elite crew length only. Black, white or blue color. I used to use the regular L/R DriFIt socks but I can’t stand them now since they are too thin and I tend to wear through them quickly.

How comfortable did you find this sock (cushioning)?
Definitely thinner out of the package than my Elites but I really didn’t notice any lack of comfort once I started playing in them. They fit my foot great and they were a decent length. They are slightly shorter than the Elites which I like.

How would you rate the support of this sock?
Very supportive. They stayed on my foot and didn’t move around.

After washing this sock, how durable did you find it (ie did it hold its shape after washing)?
It looked like it shrunk a bit after washing but regained it’s shape once I put them on.

What were your thoughts on the cosmetics (look) of this sock?
I like the length and colors. Not crazy about TW logo on the back to be honest.

List any additional thoughts on ventilation, material, and fit of this sock
Ventilation was very good. They are a little thinner than Elites so probably had more ventilation. The material was fine, and the fit for my size 10.5 foot was good with the L size.

Likes and dislikes of the sock
Liked the length and fit. I would like a little more padding around the top of the arch (under my laces) since this is where my foot takes most of the abuse during extended play. Also a little more thickening at the ankle would be nice.

Discuss the overall performance of this sock
They compare favorably to the Elites for a lot less money. I would gladly play with these without reservation.

What socks do you generally use when you play tennis (brand, cut, color)?
    adidas Barricade Medium White Crew

How comfortable did you find this sock (cushioning)?

Overall it performed really well, it felt soft and comfortable at the heel especially. It did not slide around while playing.

How would you rate the support of this sock?

Support is decent. Its good in most aspects except for changing direction quickly

After washing this sock, how durable did you find it (ie did it
    hold its shape after washing)?

It was able to hold its shape very well. there was no deformation in the sock after washing and playing.

What were your thoughts on the cosmetics (look) of this sock?

Design was a bit bland but color was great.

List any additional thoughts on ventilation, material, and fit of this sock

Ventilation was good. I sweat a lot and it did not bother me at all while playing. The material feels very soft and was very comfortable. The sock fit perfectly. I wear a size 8.5 shoe.

Likes and dislikes of the sock
I loved the material. The biggest plus of these socks is how comfortable it is and also the cushioning. They are one of the most comfortable socks I have worn. Dislike would be just the support while changing direction. Also design need work

Discuss the overall performance of this sock
Overall the performance was great. It excelled in most categories such as support, cushioning, ventilation, etc.I will buy more of these once i see how long it can withstand washing.

Usual wear socks? Probably like many people, I have never really placed a high premium nor made the effort to seek out any particular performance socks. Normal is basic Costco, or whatever is on sale, or whatever I get as gifts, athletic socks. I wear all styles and a number of brands, but tend to prefer low-cut white, or high cut black.

How comfortable did you find this sock (cushioning)? Very comfortable fit. Fairly average cushioning. I would like to see much thicker soles for cushioning while playing. For casual wear, they were very comfortable because of the fit and ventilation.

How would you rate the support of this sock? The attention to detail of the shape of the foot made them fit very nicely so I would rate them very high for support. There is no extra sock baggage in odd places inside my shoe. They fit snug, but not tight.

Did it hold shape after washing? Washing socks, who does that? Just kidding. Yes, the socks maintained their design, shape, and their foot form snuggly design after washing. I played and washed them twice and did not notice any change in the fit.

What your thought on the cosmetics. look of the sock? The look is distinctive enough that when seen worn by other players on court, the Fitsock brand and the TW logo are clearly identifiable so very good for them.

List any additional thoughts on ventilation, material, and fit of this sock. It is apparent that a good deal of thought about performance and functionality went into to the design of these socks. They are snug where they should be snug, and there is good ventilation to help with cooling.

Likes and dislikes of the sock. The fit is fantastic. The quality is great. The functionality of the design is nice. Would definitely like more cushioning on the bottom and the toe box.

Discuss the overall performance of this sock. Great performance, very nice socks. The socks fit snuggly and comfortably, but not binding and tight on my feet. They felt very comfortable and stable when sliding on a hard-court. Very nice approach from Tennis Warehouse. Performance socks of this style, design, and quality could be a great seller and give them a nice little niche in the industry, in addition to some extra profit!

What socks do I normally wear? For the most part, I wear the Black Nike DriFit Crew socks when I wear my ankle brace. Without the ankle brace, I tend to wear the Nike DriFit Elite Crew.

Comfort of this sock - I thought it was very comfortable and I liked the length of the sock. The one downside that I find in the Nike Elite is it fits pretty high and I have to pull it down. Also, I found this sock is perfect to wear with my ankle brace.

Rate Support - I thought it had good support. What I really liked is that it fit like a glove and did not slide or move inside my shoe. Some socks tend to give me blisters on the bottom of my feet in the humid weather but this sock did not because of the fit and how it did not move.

Durability after washing the socks - Thought they held up well. I have used them several times and washed them multiple times. They are holding up well and the graphics still look great.

Look of the socks - I liked how they look. Again, I tend to wear black socks so this color was a no brainer for me. I think the colors look well regardless of the shoes and clothes you wear. In short, they are a nice neutral color. The graphics remind me of Nike Elite Socks with a better fit.

Material/Fit - Again, I liked how they did not slip or move around inside my shoes. Thought the material was comfortable.

Likes/Dislikes - To sum it up, the positives for me were the fit, length of socks, and the neutral colors of the socks. If there was one thing I would prefer it would have been maybe a bit thicker sock. This one is more similar to the Nike Drifit versus the Nike DriFit Elites in regards to how thick they are.

Overall - I would give them a 9 out of 10. I really liked how they fit like a glove, the cut or length of the socks, and the colors/graphics. I would definitely buy them in the future and think additional color options would be great as well.

As always, thanks TW for allowing me to test them out. I think this sock will be popular among tennis players for their fit and performance.

What socks do you generally use when you play tennis (brand, cut, color)?
I typically wear Hanes ankle socks and just started doubling up on socks for tennis. I've been sometimes using a Hanes crew sock for the outer sock but the inner sock is always an ankle sock. I wear both white and black colored socks. I buy the cheap 10 packs of these socks so they are by no means a "performance" sock.

How comfortable did you find this sock (cushioning)?
Very comfortable. I have never worn the Nike Elites but have read about the extra cushioning in certain parts of the sock. This playtest sock was engineered in the same manner and the padding really helped.

How would you rate the support of this sock?
Support was very good. The first time I put them on, I was thinking these seem tight on my feet but that was just the support, it never felt like I was losing blood circulation or anything.

After washing this sock, how durable did you find it (ie did it hold its shape after washing)?
I only had a chance to wash the sock once since I took forever to do laundry but there was no noticeable difference between now and when I first got the sock in the mail. Hopefully these socks last a long time because I really like them!

What were your thoughts on the cosmetics (look) of this sock?
I really liked the cosmetics of the sock except I didn't care for the gray block. It seemed to try to copy the Nike Elite design and a block just seems boring. Unlike the others, the TW logo did not bother me at all. They gave us a free pair of socks, it's like a sponsorship! I see a different design on a Fitsok that TW is offering now. The gray block is gone and the sock definitely looks a lot better.

    http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/TW_Fitsok_Crew_Socks_Black_Grey/descpageMA-TWCBG.html

List any additional thoughts on ventilation, material, and fit of this sock
Ventilation was good, definitely more breathable than the cotton socks I normally wear.
Material felt comfortable, no harshness against my skin and seems to be high quality.
Fit was perfect, I wear a 10.5 shoe size and have skinny chicken leg ankles. The sock stayed pulled up on its own and didn't shift or bunch up inside my shoe. I never had to adjust it during the course of play.

Likes and dislikes of the sock
Likes: Comfort and support for sure.
Dislikes: Only the gray block on the back of the sock but this appears to have been addressed based on the sock for sale in the link I provided above.

Discuss the overall performance of this sock
The first time I wore these, I didn't wear two socks so I could give it a true playtest. It was a little bit thinner than I expected and my feet weren't snug in my adidas Barricade Team shoe (first iteration). That is no fault of the sock itself though. The next time I wore them, I wore my usual Hanes ankle socks as the first layer with the Fitsok as the outer layer and I got the snug fit I wanted. So now after wearing my first "performance" sock, I'm hooked and would definitely purchase more.

Thanks for the playtest TW! So are these the same socks as the link I provided above? Are these just the Fitsok CF2 Crew socks, but with the TW logo?
