    Review

What socks do you generally use when you play tennis (brand, cut, color)?
I use a variety of Nike, Under Armor, and Thorlo socks, generally quarter cut and white. Under Armor and Nike are my favorites due to the nice cushioning, but snug fit. Thorlo's are just too hot for the Texas tennis weather I play in, though I like the cushioning.
How comfortable did you find this sock (cushioning)?
These were surprisingly comfortable. The cushioning is great at the toes and heel, but snug in the middle of the foot. Perfect for tennis, in my opinion.
How would you rate the support of this sock?
I'd give it a 7/10. I wanted the sock to be tighter in the middle of the foot. It was snug, but I'd like it to be even more so.
After washing this sock, how durable did you find it (ie did it hold its shape after washing)?
The TW sock was very durable. Given how cushy it was, I expected some pilling after washing, but it came out in great shape.
What were your thoughts on the cosmetics (look) of this sock?
The look of the sock is nice. Black isn't ideal for the hot daytime weather here, but at night it didn't matter. I like bold, poppy colors, so the muted gray on black wasn't exactly my style, but it made for a nice change-up. For those who prefer traditional colors, it's right on. I personally wouldn't mind a white and volt yellow color, or black and volt yellow.
List any additional thoughts on ventilation, material, and fit of this sock
One of my favorite parts of the sock was the fit around the calf. This is where I felt the sock was distinct, in that it wasn't as tight as Nike and Under Armor. I like having a bit more room in the calf area, so the TW sock fit the bill perfectly. Again, the toe cushioning was great. It was so thick I expected it to get bunched up in my shoe, but it held up great in 100 degree weather. They didn't get too hot, so ventilation was great. And they were very soft, even after a couple washings.
Likes and dislikes of the sock
The cushioning was the best like, coupled with the snug middle area. It took the best parts of Thorlos and added in the nicer elements of Nike Elites and such.
Discuss the overall performance of this sock
The performance was great. In the hot weather I played in for the testing, it absorbed moisture, didn't bunch up, and kept it's cushioning. It's really hard to ask for anything more, other than colors and such.

What socks do you generally use when you play tennis (brand, cut, color)
Nike Basketnall elite and Nike Dri-Fit cotton crew - White or black.

How comfortable did you find this sock (cushioning)?
Cushioning was pretty good. They seemed to be thinner than the elites that I usually wear.

How would you rate the support of this sock?
Support was good. I have narrow feet so they could have been a little tighter.

After washing this sock, how durable did you find it (ie did it hold its shape after washing)?
I thought the durability after washing them was really good. The pair I received really held their shape.

What were your thoughts on the cosmetics (look) of this sock?
I like black socks so I definitely liked the cosmetics. The only thing I would change is the grey. Maybe change it to white or a variety of other colors to choose from.

List any additional thoughts on ventilation, material, and fit of this sock
I thought the ventilation was good. I usually don't have wet socks after playing so ventilation usually isn't an issue for me. I would have liked the sock to have cotton. I felt like my foot was more prone to moving around in my shoes. I think cotton would help with this issue.

Likes and dislikes of the sock
I liked the sample. Because they were more thin than the Nike elites, they were better suited for outside play in the Texas summer. Only real dislike was the lack of cotton in the makeup.

Discuss the overall performance of this sock
Breathable, good cushioning, slight slippage. Overall a really good sock.

Thanks for the opportunity to playtest these TW!!

What socks do you generally use when you play tennis (brand, cut, color)?
I've been wearing white, Thorlo Level 3 mini-crew socks.

How comfortable did you find this sock (cushioning)?
I thought the sock was pretty comfortable. I tried the socks with my new Barricade 7s and experienced no soreness afterwards.

How would you rate the support of this sock?
The support of the sock was good. My feet didn't slide around in my shoes and the compression kept the socks from moving during the test.

After washing this sock, how durable did you find it (ie did it hold its shape after washing)?
I had the sock washed once during the playtest period and it doesn't appear to be worn. The sock felt identical to the first time I had played in them.

What were your thoughts on the cosmetics (look) of this sock?
The cosmetics are fine with me. The TW logo isn't too bold and these socks can be worn with most shoes. Additionally, as some other posters have mentioned, this sock looks similar to Nike Elites.

List any additional thoughts on ventilation, material, and fit of this sock.
These socks had some nice ventilation. My feet felt cooler compared to when I wore Thorlos. The material of the sock felt less slippery than that of a Thorlos sock. I also enjoyed the snug fit of the sock.

Likes and dislikes of the sock
I liked the ventilation of the sock and the non-slippery material it was made of.

My only issue with the sock was that it is thinner than other socks that I have worn, so my shoes had more room than usual.

Discuss the overall performance of this sock
I thought the Fitsock was overall a good sock. It offered enough cushioning, good ventilation, and a nice fit. I will probably buy a pair or two of these.

Thank you TW for the playtest opportunity.

What socks do you generally use when you play tennis (brand, cut, color)?
    Nike Drifit crew in black

How comfortable did you find this sock (cushioning)?
Sock was very comfortable, very snug as well while offering adequate cushioning throughout matches.

How would you rate the support of this sock?
I noticed nothing wrong with the support of the sock, very stable in the shoe, no slippage at all.

After washing this sock, how durable did you find it (ie did it hold its shape after washing)?
Washed sock after the first matches of a weekend tournament, wore the second day as well, and a third day of practice. Sock showed no sign of durability loss.

What were your thoughts on the cosmetics (look) of this sock?
I really liked the similarity to the Nike Elite's with a bit of TW flair.

List any additional thoughts on ventilation, material, and fit of this sock.
Socks were great in terms of ventilation with my 4.3's.

Likes and dislikes of the sock
I could play without any thoughts of regret for not wearing my regular socks.

Discuss the overall performance of this sock
The fitsock is great and hopefully at a great price. I can see myself buying several more sets when I retire my Nike dryfits.

Thank you TW for the playtest opportunity.

What socks do you generally use when you play tennis (brand, cut, color)? Nike compression socks mid calf

How comfortable did you find this sock (cushioning)?
Cushioning was good. They are a little better than the nike ones that I usually wear

How would you rate the support of this sock? Support is decent. I think a little less than the Nike compression socks

After washing this sock, how durable did you find it (ie did it hold its shape after washing)? It held up very well.

What were your thoughts on the cosmetics (look) of this sock? Cosmetics look good. My 11 year old really likes to wear these. He wears a size 10 shoe.

List any additional thoughts on ventilation, material, and fit of this sock. The ventilation is good

Likes and dislikes of the sock. I like the socks very much. It does appear that some of the graphics on the foot can be seen with my shoes on. I would rather not have that. Overall they are great socks!

wanted to provide an update on durability of these socks...after wearing and washing them 6 times, they are still virtually the same as they were on day 1. no pilling. hasn't gotten thinner or lost any cushioning. compression is a little looser than day 1, but overall these socks really hold up well. i'm very impressed. great quality product!

TW, please offer a slightly thicker, more padded version of this sock. i would definitely buy them!

i discovered the perfect sock to double up w/ these TW FitSoks...i tried the adidas ClimaCool X no show sock that was on sale during the TW Happy Hour this week as the base layer under the TW FitSok today. PERFECTION! comfort and fit were exactly what i am looking for. for the others that also felt the TW FitSok was just a little thinner than you prefer, give this a try. ventilation is still excellent as both socks breath exceptionally well. fortunately i bought 4 prs of the adidas socks at the Happy Hour so i'll be picking up some more of these TW FitSok Vert stripe.
