I am going to use for the first time Polyfibre TCS, 16 gauge in a APDGT, full bed. I want control, spin and not a boardlike feel stringbed. What tension would you recommend. As a sidenote, Ive been told TCS looses tension fast.
    Suggestions are appreciated.Thanks.

i haven't used the tcs so far, but i can confirm that polyfibre strings basically have a higher stabilisation loss than other polys, therefore it would be good to start about 1kg higher than you usually would.
i so far only played the black venom rough which i strung 0.5kg higher than usual (i.e. 22.5kg in the mains) and it was o.k. for the roughly 10-11 hitting hours i got off it i had no second tension loss, which usually happens around the 6hrs mark with quite a lot of other strings.

Depends how long you keep strings in your frame. Your needs sound like something that is suited for TCS, but the tension loss is pretty darn bad. I'd even go as far as increasing by ~2KG (~4(.4) lbs). Break in won't be too harsh, either.

Great string for spin and decent pop but tension maintenance is horrible. Lasts about 4 hours for me before it just goes downhill.

While it lasts its heaven. After that, Oh boy. But its a great string IMO if your starting out in polys or if you want a softer one.

just like diredesire mentioned, i would recommend increasing tension by about 3-5 lbs or so as this stuff is SOFT for a poly..
